ellab:Let's go together, I pick Song Joong Ki Did you watch that scene when all the soldiers were shirtless and jogging? I'm like yeah, y'all should never wear shirts again. ![]() About the ban, happens all the time. Just go to the bottom of the fp, mail the mods and send the link of the thread. |
hilda90:Exactly! The cinematography is really great. Aww they even wore matching Tees. Netz are already speculating that one of them will end up dead. I hope not. |
hilda90:Okay. Didn't you just love how the hostage rescue and surgery scenes were interwoven together? Pre-production really has its advantages, and it shows in every aspect of the drama. |
Bevy12:Lol. That's what Descendants did to me oo. Lol @ OST disgrace. |
hilda90:I'm happy to have joined the party too jare, lol Always by Yoon Mirae is the name of the OST. I already downloaded sharpaly! You're right about the eye candy. I can just be staring at their faces throughout the drama. I've not noticed that much similarities apart from the OST use which isn't as bad (yet?). I don't want to compare the dramas for now so I won't form a bias in my mind. I plan to enjoy Descendants without worrying about the writer's style. |
Okay, I'm finally on-board! Descendants is the shiii!!!! It's mind blowing, the scenery is gorgeous, the OST.... I luff it!- just hope it doesn't turn into Almost Paradise and Moment- Song Joong Ki on my screen is pure bliss! I was just staring at him the whole time. Funny how he came straight from the army to act a military drama. I feel like screaming in happiness, but it's 4am. Time to go and sleep! ![]() |
The PD of Cheese is sick! She just ruined a good show for me. To even watch the final 2eps in somehow for me now. ![]() |
WTF ? I feel like walking up to the PD and giving her a slap. Seriously! ![]() What? Cut his scenes? Is she high on seaweed? How could she do that to PHJ? He's the main lead dammit! That's biased and unfair jare. Just two more eps, and she might end up putting Seol and In-ho together. Everybody has been praising Cheese, and she has to do this. Rubbish! |
Lol @hilda90 and ellab's answers. Jung is manipulative, but Min'll kill him and dispose his body then smile at Seol and take her away. But like his mummy -ellab is his mum, Wokkie is the dad- said, he's too busy tryna get his hyung's attention. He's in love with his brother, I swear! ![]() |
So, I was going through koala's blog -for the first time in a looooooong time.- as I was curious to see her reaction to DotS. ![]() Anyway, I stumbled on an article about a Park Bo-gum and Kim Go-eun CF together. In the comments, someone asked a fun question. What will happen if Min (Bo-gum's character in I Remember You) and Jung (Park Hae-Jin's character in Cheese) are fighting for Seol (Kim Go-eun in Cheese)? ![]() If you've watched IRY, you'll know that Min was kinda psycho and Jung in Cheese has a dark side too. What do you guys think? Who will win? ![]() |
ellab: First lady of Kdrama! |
Coralblue07:Lol. At least I know I'm going to watch it this weekend. Apart from Cheese that I watch per eps, I normally wait for both eps of a drama for the week to be aired before I watch. |
sarang60:Lol. I understand the need to let it out! |
My oh my! Seems I'll avoid this thread till Saturday when I watch. |
ellab:Very good. Still waiting for other bashers and haters to retract their biting comments |
DOTs got 14% in ratings? Woah! That's really something for just the 1st eps. I hope it keeps climbing. I'm happy for my fav network. Remains Mon-Tue timeslot. That one needs another miracle. I can't wait to watch both eps this weekend. |
wegga:Are you tryna call my Jung a beast? ![]() Did you see the preview for ep15? Man! |
wegga:Happy Ending isn't really an alternative to Cheese for me though, both of them are quite different. But they both show a realistic slice of life so I understand. Lol @ main lead turned 2nd lead. Funny but kinda true. I'm glad he's getting his lead groove back. |
ellab:Back is too far, I dey your side o. ![]() |
It's going to be pretty hard to determine which drama is going to take the top spot between Descendants and Come Back. Come Back has an advantage of being the follow up drama to Remember which had lead the ratings for that timeslot. Can Come Back manage to keep the viewers of Remember? On the other hand, Descendants has the advantage of buzz and hype being the comeback drama of Song Joong Ki, and the whole pre-production thing. Plus the ratings for Merchant- the previous drama- wasn't all that bad. Then again, with the ending of Merchant and Remember viewers can switch over to Happy Ending which also airs during that time. Let's just see how it goes. Descendants, hwaiting!!! |
ellab:Real battle of the shows! I'm crossing my fingers and toes for DotS. I hope it does really well for Song Oppa's sake and for KBS. Heavens know the network needs a miracle. Apart from their weekend dramas, they are the ratings pit. ![]() |
Remember.... Where do I start from? There are some dramas that start with a bang and fizzle out in the middle, but not this drama. Till the end, it remained amazing! Big ups to everyone that was involved in this drama, it was awesome! I'm so glad I was a part of the journey even though the earlier eps were frustrating and I wondered when JW was going to get justice. When Justice was finally served, and I looked back at all he went through to get to that point, I appreciated the journey even more. The drama was all about the war of the son. JW's war. Even though I was thankful for IA's presence in his life, there was only so much she could do. It was HIS fight. Down with prosecutor Buns! he totally deserved what he got. As for the Nams, YK was right when she told her father he was the reason her brother turned out that way. He had it coming, so good radiance! Speaking of YK, she is the most under-utilised character in Kdrama history. I can't still understand why she was billed as a main character, and after like 3eps they just stopped showing her. And even when she appeared, she barely got 30secs of screen time. Even the Judge got far more screen time than she did. As for NGM, guy just had no redemption. He was a coward, period. All these time he was using daddy's influence to perpetuate his criminal acts and get away with it. When daddy abandoned him, and he cried- for the first time- I was just shaking my head. I'd have loved for him to go crazy (LFAS villain style), but he had to take the easy way out. Either way, he'd have died, 'cos he got the death penalty- well deserved by the way. ![]() *in the detective's voice* "The wages of sin is death..." I laughed during that scene! Detective turned evangelist. While I'm kinda sad that JW finally gave in to his ailment, I respect the writer for sticking to the storyline. For me, I was satisfied with how it ended. JW needed that peace, and I'm glad all the bad memories got erased. I won't say this is the best drama of the year yet, because the year is still kinda fresh, but this drama is definitely up there among the best I've watched. |
SlimAdenike: ![]() |
hilda90:Yeah, me too. |
ellab:Hahahahahaha!!!!! I've not yet watched it oo. Till tomorrow. |
Finally, Descendants of the Sun starts next week.
Song Joong Ki on my screen? *sigh* I can't wait. ![]() |
vikkytan49:Yaaayy!! I'm so happy for YSH, his comeback was a hit! I can't believe we're in the final week already. *sobs* I'll be watching both eps this weekend. I can't wait! |
