Rose2014: They know that anything that looks like integration of SS and SE is gonna be a big blow to Nigeria. Hence they've bn doing everything possible to make sure we're divided while milking Nigeria dry
This election is an eye opener. A blessing in disguise if u ask me It exposes the hypocrisy of some regions in Nigeria Something had to change, that's why God gave us this election. Goodluck Jonathan changed lives in way he never intended. Old men, Old women, young and middle aged SS people are simply shocked, not by his loss but the way it played out. |

queensmith: *patience jonathans voice* kontinu
I know for one know no more than 10% of Nigerians couldnt care less about the causes I do - that includes pitying the people who claim to be marginalised and believing they deserve some attention. This thread is about the inward movements between the SS and the SE. I don't care or give a crap about your pretentious postulations. |

queensmith: I feel the pain of people from these areas - because it genuinely seems as if they were being ganged up against this election.
Rather than take the matter personally, there is need to address the specific issues which led to Jonathan being voted out of power. His lack of control over his cabinet and blatant ineptitude.
Buhari is not the solution anybody wanted - but Nigerians rallied round and voted for change!
Times are changing and in the face of global economic development Nigerians refuse to continue suffering and smiling! Which is the sentiment those from the SS and SE continue to have.
It is not 'your turn' to govern for the sake of governing, it is 'your turn' to ensure that your interests are expressed and you are catered for as part of Nigeria!
I will say you should stop this ethnic and tribal nonsense that has brought about the likes of NGO, Madueke and Jonathan, and start demonstrating that you have the capability to lead from the front with competent Nigerians with the countries interests at heart.
Jonathan had the opportunity to do soo much for you and he didn't, why did you continue to support him? Rubbish like yours is the reason Nigeria will get nowhere anytime soon. That's why we want to channel our energy inwards. |

Mogidi: This new political alliance is formidable when you look at the resources of the SS and the entrepreneurship of the SE, together we would be taking seriously, we need each other to remain formidable.
Another masterpiece from the one and only barcanista. That is the political, economical and social future of the zones. Expect the leaders to aggressive lead this agenda. We have no choice but take this direction. |

francizy: I supported GEJ not because he had oil, not because he was SS, not because he was a Christian but because I saw no good in the gang up of APC in their desperate attempt to take over by force. No good done by GEJ was good enough but any evil done by APC was either shoved aside with the senseless logic "PDP did it in the past" or regarded as irrelevant.
I love Nigeria but I will love a better Nigeria where a minority can rule and be placed at the same level as a majority. A country where a majority was allowed to rule 8 years with one of the worst leadership the world has ever seen wouldn't allow an Ijaw minority rule 8 years even though his leadership was better than that of the majority who has been ruling us since independence.
With all these and all that happened back then, the Igbos emerged to fight for this region. A region that fed Nigeria but was also relegated in leadership but yet someone is here screaming "leave our oil". It's so shameful of that guy. I just hope that I was actually discussing with someone above at least, 17 years of age. That's why this election result was great in some ways. Many people from mainly the SS needed a reality check like this. Thank God is a democracy, where civil liberties and civil rights must be respected. AS Bush said on 911, we have heard from them, is now their turn to hear from us. I am so happy with likes of Wike as governor, Akpabio manager as senators etc. God bless Nigeria for the great democratic explosion that's about to happen. |

[s] StBlack1: @ barcanista
ALL ROOMS for SS/SE are allowed. But the funny picture about your campaign that you have failed to factor in the bigger picture by thinking deep about the interest of other SS tribes about this idea of your. The most hilarious of all is thinking the already volatile SS states of Delta and Rivers will not think twice before kicking your campaign into the gutter. However, I hail EUROBOMBER's vision for tactically excluding Edo state out of your discussion.
READ THIS AND TAKE IT WHETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT,
- A partlySS /SE gang up can only succeed in fighting for an impossible secession, but i bet it will never even near mounting any successful challenge to APC talk less shaking up the confidence of APC.
- Take it or leave, your thread is only borne out of a temporary political grudge against APC, the general perception of majority South-Southerners as regards a SS/SE partnership says otherwise.
- If you want to test how viable your idea is, leave the SW and go preach your gospel in the SS and pray tell what responses you will get. Trying to form an 'already-malicious' SS/SE is nothing but action film in the SW. Go to the creeks in the south and the hills in the east to achieve that first.
-Itsekiris in Delta are South-southerners like you. Go preach your gospel to them first. Why not try from there as a starting point. At least that one will expose how united you people are in the SS. Please endeavor to do so to the Ikwerres in Rivers after your Otuoke champion has ceeded their oil wells to Bayelsa. These are ways of measuring your sucessess.
Unless you all leave Yorubaland to kick off your campaign, no offence meant, all i see are people acting invisible scripts. These also applies to you Easterners in all Yoruba lands. [/s] People leave comments like this alone. They are playing the usual games, we have gone past this pretentiousness. |

A regional party that is in control of more than 20 states? We're not talking of only votes at the presidential election here but about a party that has dislodged PDP even in their stronghold od NW/NE regions.
Please reason man. PDP NEVER had a strong hold in NW/NE. Don't rewrite history |

Had he performed, he would have gotten the support of the SW and part of the NC which would have been good enough. Buhari won because of performance We have passed that story line already. |

Why can't easterners have such one voice too? Imagine him calling Jonathan a failure, that's why we need our own media. Lessons have been learnt, we are moving forward. |

The votes in the north were shared in the ratio of about 70 to 30. This was the same region that gave GEJ about 55% of the votes in 2011.
The fact remains that Jonathan failed and you guys should stop making it look like it was a conspiracy. Please don't derail this thread. This's not about Jonathan anymore. |
