all4naija: Do those justify the death penalty? I still don't understand what you are trying to explain. I think we are talking about death penalty not the security personnel and security system put in place.read my answer to panafrican "Get the criminals before getting in" what do you think they are? an international officers? as far as I know, police duty is to protect the civilian "within" the country. Of course they will have to wait for those drugs trafficker to get onto Indonesian soil and catch them wet with all evidence enough to sentence them to a punishment. They are the people who make criminals go to jail, ain't no way they go to jail for catching criminals, instead, they will be promoted. |
panafrican:It is right that no one should care about how they look like, but the messages behind it. Do you think Naija police will operate the way Indonesian police handle war on drugs? That's why nigerians dare to carry drugs to another countries because they think the law enforcers in there are just the same with those in the homeland. Black man? You should see the news about U.K citizen also being sentenced to death penalty by Indonesian police. Asian countries are not playing with their war on drugs, whoever dare to step foot on Asian countries with drugs be ready to face their ropes and firing squad while their prisons are not better than hell itself. |
all4naija: Barbaric practice! How would that stop people from committing crime in that country is still something the people cannot phantom. They are just way too primitive as Saudi Arabians to know that killing is not the solution.Indonesia doesn't often impose death penalty on their own citizen, except for terrorism. That's normal for a country that is strongly protecting its citizen form getting destroyed by some foreigners. Look at Indonesian anti drugs police's appearance ! That alone sends enough message to any guys, that no foreign drug traffickers should be let live. Indonesia's anti drug police officers are often wearing civilian outfits when patrolling, and they can call their brigades, armored vehicles, and equipments whenever they want to catch a smuggler, especially armed smugglers. https://cdn.informationnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/jpmulta121023002.jpg?9d7bd4 https://i56.tinypic.com/14ybhmp.jpg https://dc341.4shared.com/img/KZeMVxo2/s7/densus-88.jpg They look like death squads for any foreigners that commit abuse to their laws. |
oluface: I am thinking of traveling to indonesia this year to work... But I am a little bit scared of their poor economy.. So I decide to ask from Nairalander which country has more power.I don't know your reason saying their economy is poor, but Indonesia is actually one MIST economy and is one of Asia's economy powerhouse, they are actually 5th biggest economy in Asia, much much better compared to us. And every 15 minutes christian killed in there is one of funniest bullshit I have ever heard. |
Ricky_Ross: Na today, almost every black man you see in Indonesia is a Nigerian. Many Nigerians there are into yahoo yahoo/drug. Indonesia visa is not expensive and it is not difficult to get. Even though they have some beautiful cities and sky scrappers, Indonesia is a very poor / corrupt country like Nigeria. There are not enough jobs for their citizens, I have not yet seen any Nigerian working there. Every Nigerian there is a hustler. Like the Philippines, a great % of Indonesian girls pay huge sums of money to travel agents who take them to Middle East/Europe/America to do boy boy (Maid). You can't compare Nigeria and Indonesia, you know. Their economy is around USD 1 Trillion in GDP and PerCapita USD 4700, two times bigger than India, Indonesia is actually the 5th Biggest economy in Asia after China, India, Japan, and South Korea. Why do you think many of Nigerian seek opportunity to work in there? And for Indonesian maid, as well as the Chinese and Indian maid, it is their government program to send the poor, unskilled, and the unemployed people to go abroad and make money as well as decreasing the number of unemployed workforce inside their country. |

who cares about how they look like? What matters here is how does the "law" apply to vulnerable minorities such as Black african immigrants.
