A report getting to us right now has confirmed that the JAMB Mock examination which was to hold this last Saturday has been cancelled and a date for the Mock examination is yet to be disclosed. Professor Ishaq Oloyede in a statement during his interaction with newsmen made it known that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has obliged the Accredited centres that would be conducting the Computer based test for the Mock Examination not to collect any fee. Before I delve deep into this topic, let me ask you a salient question: as a teacher, what is your biggest aim when teaching a group of students? Is it your objective to “show” them that you have a broad knowledge of the topic or to make them understand the topic? The truth is, although a lot of teachers will opt for the second option, a lot of them go into the class to teach without a good game plan to make the students understand their teachings. In Nigeria, it has become commonplace to hear lecturers and teachers tell students that they can never get an A in their course. Why? The Federal house of representatives has ordered that the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board to extend the registration date for the 2017 JAMB examination. This was raised by Danburan Nuhu (A member of the APC political party) in a statement where he stated that about 1.6 million applicants registered for the UTME and an estimated number of 1 million applicants passed the examination during the 2016 Read more at HERE 1 Like 1 Share
