Do you plan to have your baby there? If yes,..
I advice you get your cousin to help you book an appointment with a doctor over there and if possible get an estimate of the medical bill.
You not declaring before getting your visa that you were pregnant and have intention of having your baby in Canada, is a sore point and you will definitely be asked why at the point of entry.
In my opinion, you can always have a change of mind so ask your cousin to find out on your behalf from CIC where you can mail informing them that you would like to deliver in Canada and what is required just like the US.They should reply you via mail which you can print out, and this should cover your not declaring initially, evidence that you have enough funds, evidence of interaction with a doctor over there, your Nigerian medical report and also maybe communication with your cousin stating that she feels comfortable if you have your child there because of the excellent healthcare. The link below just captures a little but you can also see that declaring upfront and availability of funds is key.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/processing/birth.asp
Your cousin just has to help you do some ground work, it's easier for her/him since she/he is in Canada to call their office and get you all the info you require. I am very sure if you do the above, you will be covered. All the best though and keep me posted on your cousin's feedback.
Good Afternoon Sir,
thanks so much for the info! its indeed a big one!! didnt know about this about IRPA....i'll talk to my sister....i'll definitely keep you posted! God bles you.

Hi, it's a bit tricky but let's look at it this way;
Did you get the visa more than 7 months ago?
Do you have someone in Canada?
Do you have a letter from a doctor in Nigeria with details of your medical condition?
Are you financially buoyant?
Good Evening Mr. Akanni, you have been very helpful to me, may God bless you!
1. i just got the visa
2. i have a relative in canada (first cousin)
3. Yes, i have a letter from my own doctor (not canada's official docs in Nigeria)
4. Yes! i have more than enough to pay the fees...

Good Day Nairalanders and all the Gurus in the house!! ...please i need clarification on my visa application documents to canada;
1. i have worked in a microfinance bank for over 4yrs, where i earn 180,000/month after tax. do i need to show tax clearance certificate as i do not have one. although the bank deducts tax from the workers salary (PAYE) which does reflects on my pay slip.
2. I intend to use my salary account with the microfinance bank, will the VO accept statement of account from my salary account with the bank? I currently have over N800,000 in my salary account with the microfinance bank and i intend to apply for a 2 weeks vacation to see my first cousin in canada.
3. food and accommodation will be taken care of by her, what document does she need to provide apart from her permanent residency card, utility bill and prove of where she works (her ID card).
4. my travel history includes; Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Benin republic and Togo
5. does she have to mail origonal copy of letter of invitation to me through courier servies, or is the scanned signed copy send my email okay??
6. my ties in nigeria are my husband and my work and couple with the fact that i will be travelling to UK with my husband by August this year.
apart from all these documents, i included; police clearance, marriage cert, to whom it may concern letter, letter of consent from my husband and utility bills of our present house of residence.
Also, does tourist visa take 2 good months to rily process?? shocked....
what else could be lacking, please i urgently need answers. God bless

I doubt if you can do that, he can do that cuz he presently lives/schools there, all he has to do is show his visa page as proof of living legally there.
thanks

Good Evening Mr. Akanni, thanks so much for answering my questions, i'll do just that. however, I am worried about canada processing time for Nigeria visitors' visa. you have to give them at least two months to process the application...i read your msg to a guy in Ukraine, you said he can carry out his application over there without coming to Nigeria. well, can i go to Accra, Ghana to submit my application, since it takes less than a month to process visitors' visa over there... lipsrsealed huh

akanni:
Include your leave letter from your office, office can also give you a covering letter for the tax certificate, i worked in a bank too and that was what my office gave me with the letter of introduction to the canadian embassy.
also, let your host send you an invitation letter/mail, and if you can show evidence of the relationship, the better e.g biodata page showing same surname of mum or dad, etc.Since she will be accommodating you, statement of account of your host will be key too, showing that she can host you.
all the best!
thanks so much for the info, God bless you....however, concerning the biodata, both of us are married and now bare different surnames. would it be okay to make her mum n mine carry out an affidavit with their maiden names and declaration of relationship?? tongue dunno just asking...thanks ones again....

Creating A Thesis For A Research Paper

The Plan

A strong research paper involves a process of establishing a claim and then proving it with logical reasoning, examples, and research. The thesis statement is a guideline, a unifying element, for every research paper.

Start simply. Write your thesis statement in a single sentence.
Answer a question. A simple guide to an effective thesis statement is an answer to a question: What am I trying to prove?
Narrow your topic. Focus your thesis statement on a limited aspect. For example, narrow a topic from “films” to “action films” to “Avatar” to the “merits and flaws of Avatar.”
Be flexible. If your research indicates other, stronger possibilities, it is acceptable to change your thesis statement.
Verify your thesis statement. Obtain your instructor’s approval for your thesis statement before starting extensive research.
Do not “telegraph” a thesis. Avoid using a first-person phrase such as “I am going to prove” or “I hope to show.” An instructor knows this is your paper, and your point should be apparent through a strong thesis “statement” followed by supporting evidence.
