2027: A Call for Visionary Leadership: Why I Stand with Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm As a strong supporter of good governance, I firmly believe that Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm is the most trustworthy and exceptional candidate for governor in the current political scene. His impressive achievements and contributions to Kogi State and Nigeria show his dedication to public service and leadership focused on the people. Unlike some candidates whose goals seem driven by personal ambition and a desire to take advantage of public office for their own benefit, Dr. Bryhm understands the needs, hopes, and daily challenges faced by the people of Kogi State. Dr. Bryhm’s leadership combines vision, integrity, and a passion for real results. His commitment to our people's well-being is clear through his ongoing efforts to tackle the urgent issues facing our state. He promotes economic development, improves infrastructure, and advocates for citizens' rights. He consistently shows a leadership style that is inclusive, responsive, and accountable. Currently, Kogi State is dealing with serious problems, including insecurity, ineffective welfare systems, decaying infrastructure, and slow economic growth. These issues have hurt small businesses and pushed investors to seek opportunities in neighboring states. As a seasoned business leader and investor, Dr. Bryhm has the real-world experience and economic knowledge needed to turn this situation around. His pro-investment ideas will boost confidence in Kogi State, draw both local and international investors, encourage economic growth, and create sustainable jobs for our young people. As a proud resident of Kogi State, I firmly declare my continued support. I will always back a candidate who can deliver results and make a real difference in the lives of our people. Dr. Bryhm’s campaign represents a refreshing change in a political landscape often marked by mediocrity and self-interest. I urge my fellow Kogites to join me in supporting Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm’s governorship bid as we work together to create a brighter, more prosperous future for our state and our great nation. By uniting behind Dr. Bryhm’s vision, we can create a peaceful, fair, and economically vibrant Kogi State where every citizen can thrive and reach their full potential. Join the effort to improve my Kogi, your Kogi, our Kogi—together. Abbas Jimoh Okehi Kogi Central Senatorial District Monday, 9th February 2026

Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm, A Quintessential Leader Who Combines Humility With Confidence By Friday, Aguma Jonah History has not been kind to leaders who fear failure. As humans, we are meant to stumble, learn, and rise stronger. True victory can not happen without lessons learned from defeat. Failure is not the opposite of leadership; surrender is. Great leaders are not those who never fall but those who refuse to stay down. This truth reflects the moment Kogi State faces today. Dr. Bryhm’s journey shows what leadership growth looks like. Through his work in the private sector and his foundation, he has faced challenges common to real grassroots engagement. Limited resources, vast needs, and complex social realities often pose obstacles. Yet, rather than retreat, he learned and expanded his impact. From youth empowerment to education support, from humanitarian efforts to community development, his record demonstrates resilience, not retreat. Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm believes in a philosophy that matches the realities of governance. Bold decisions need to be made, lessons learned, and progress pursued without giving up. Kogi does not need a leader who fears mistakes; it needs someone who can face them, correct them, and turn them into stepping stones for growth. Furthermore, Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm exemplifies leadership that combines humility and confidence. He listens, learns, and leads—qualities essential for maintaining peace, strengthening institutions, and opening up economic opportunities for the people. His vision is not to discard the achievements of the current administration but to build on them with renewed energy, broader inclusion, and greater impact. As Kogi looks to the future, the choice before the state is clear: stagnation from fear or progress from courage. In a time that requires resilience, clarity, and strong commitment, Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm embodies the leadership that rises after every fall. In leadership, it is not failure that ends the journey; it is surrender. Dr. Bryhm has consistently shown that surrender is not an option. The name "Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm" is echoing in every corner of Kogi State as the bell of 2027 rings. His name resonates, and people, especially the youth, students, and vulnerable individuals, regard him as the ideal choice for 2027. Let us campaign and pray for Dr. Folabora Bryhm to take on the mantle of leadership in Kogi State as a path towards progress and development. Comr. Hon.Barr. Shaba Ibrahim Reaffirms Loyalty to PDP, Addresses Defection Rumor. Lokoja, Kogi State The former Member of the House of Representatives representing Kogi/Lokoja Federal Constituency, Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim, has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), dismissing recent rumors and speculations regarding his alleged defection. This clarification was made during a well-attended stakeholders’ meeting held yesterday, which brought together party leaders and stakeholders from the local government, ward, and grassroots levels. The meeting provided an open platform for dialogue, consultation, and collective decision-making. In his address, Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim expressed deep appreciation to all supporters who have stood by him over the years. He emphasized the importance of inclusiveness and transparency by allowing all participants to freely express their opinions and concerns. He categorically stated that he has not defected from the PDP and remains a committed member of the party. He further explained that any future political decision would only be taken after broad consultation and with the unanimous consent of his supporters and stakeholders. According to him, political alignment is not merely about movement from one party to another, but about strategic decisions guided by two critical considerations: the likelihood of electoral success and the tangible benefits such success would bring to the people. Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim stressed that leadership must go beyond personal appointments or individual gains, noting that true governance is measured by developmental projects, institutional growth, and long-term benefits for the masses. He reaffirmed his belief that public office should serve the collective interest rather than private or family advantage. He highlighted that the PDP remains a party with a proven track record of impacting lives positively across Nigeria, stating that it would be unjust to abandon a platform that has significantly contributed to the welfare of the people without clear and compelling justification. Recalling past political engagements, he noted that certain agreements entered into with the APC. particularly those intended to benefit institutions within his constituency, were not honored when it mattered most. He stated that these experiences have further strengthened his resolve to prioritize credibility, trust, and the genuine interests of his people in all political decisions. In conclusion, Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim called on party members and supporters to remain calm, focused, and united, while reaffirming that the PDP remains strong, viable, and capable of winning elections. He assured stakeholders that if there is ever a need for any political realignment, such a decision would be communicated transparently and at the appropriate time, following thorough consultation and careful evaluation of its benefits to the people. The aspiration of Kogi West 2027 represents more than ambition, it represents hope, inclusion, and purposeful leadership. My Dear Kogi youths, history has shown us that no society rises above the quality of its leadership, and no leadership succeeds without the energy, ideas, and conscience of young people. We are the largest demographic, the most dynamic force, and the conscience of this nation. When youths are silent, bad leadership thrives. But when youths are informed, organized, and intentional, transformation becomes inevitable. kogi West vision speaks directly to the realities we face today in the state, Kogi West has been a dogged, vocal and fearless even in the street. However; This is not about politics of bitterness or division. It is about politics of purpose. It is about placing the right capacity in the right position, at the right time, for the right reasons. Let me be clear, supporting Kogi West is not about hero worship. It is about believing in leadership that listens, leadership that learns, and leadership that serves. A leader who understands that to govern is not a throne of privilege, but a platform of responsibility for governance, to represent, and to protect the interests of the people, especially the youth. Dear Kogi Youths, our support must go beyond slogans and social media posts. Let it be rooted in knowledge, values, and peaceful engagement. Organize intellectually. Mobilize constructively. Advocate responsibly. Democracy flourishes when participation is informed and civil. As youths, we must reject politics of violence, hate speech, and manipulation. Instead, embrace politics of ideas, competence, and accountability. This is how we earn respect, influence policy, and shape outcomes. I therefore urge us all to see ourselves as partners in this journey. In closing, let me say this, the future of Kogi West will not be handed to us, it must be built deliberately. And that future begins with the choices we make today. Together, with unity of purpose, discipline of vision, and sincerity of action, we can support a leadership that reflects our aspirations and delivers results. I believe in Kogi youths And I believe that with collective commitment, Kogi West aspiration can become a vehicle for meaningful progress. may our efforts today shape a better tomorrow.. God bless us all. Ojodale Michael from Ibaji local government Of Kogi State My support for Kogi West Senatorial District For governor 2027

2027: Kogi West Demands the Right to Govern Kogi State. By Comr M. Sani As Kogi State approaches the 2027 gubernatorial election, it faces a crucial political moment. This is a time for deep reflection, not for politics based on slogans, narrow ambitions, or party manoeuvring. This moment should be rooted in justice, fairness, and the long-term stability of the state. In communities, among traditional leaders, political stakeholders, and knowledgeable opinion leaders, a clear and consistent message is coming through: it is time for Kogi West Senatorial District to produce the next Governor of Kogi State. This demand is not sentimental or just a result of usual political negotiations. It is based on fairness, historical balance, and the need for inclusive governance. Since Kogi State was created in 1991, political leadership has only rotated between Kogi East and Kogi Central. Kogi East has produced governors who led the state for over sixteen years, while Kogi Central has taken two full terms and currently holds the seat of power. Throughout this time, Kogi West—despite its strong population, intellectual depth, electoral value, and political loyalty—has never had the chance to govern the state. Yet, Kogi West has been crucial to the survival and stability of successive governments. The district has consistently mobilized votes, built party structures, formed alliances across senatorial districts, and supported administrations, often at significant political cost. Time and again, Kogi West has been asked to delay its ambitions for the sake of unity. Kogi West is rich in talent and leadership ability. The district has produced experienced professionals in the banking sector, legislators, technocrats, administrators, and nationally respected leaders who have served Kogi State and Nigeria well. Its demand is not for handouts or special favours, but for fair access to leadership, the right to lead a state it has helped to build, sustain, and stabilize. Equity is not the same as generosity; it is about justice. History shows that ignoring legitimate calls for fairness leads to political alienation, erodes voter confidence, and creates long-term instability. Kogi State can not afford such a path. Beyond zoning issues, the case for Kogi West is also strengthened by competence and readiness. The district has credible leaders with proven experience in governance, economic management, security, and grassroots mobilization. This is why the call for Kogi West resonates beyond its own borders. More voices from Kogi East and Kogi Central are recognizing a simple truth: fairness aligns with proven leadership capacity. Therefore, the year 2027 represents both a moral and strategic turning point for Kogi State, a choice between repeating historical imbalances or correcting them; between short-term political gains and lasting unity. Allowing Kogi West to lead is not a concession. It is a wise, stabilizing decision that promotes inclusion, rebuilds trust, and strengthens the foundation of the state. The people of Kogi are not asking for the impossible. They seek balance, respect, justice, and a genuine sense of belonging for every senatorial district. As 2027 approaches, the message grows stronger, more legitimate, and urgent: It is time for Kogi West to govern Kogi State. Comrade M. Sani Writes from the Confluence City of Lokoja Saturday, 10th January 2026

Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm Reaffirms Commitment to the Rescue and Renewal of Kogi State The 2027 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Kogi State Gubernatorial Aspirant, Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm, has extended a New Year message of hope, courage and purposeful leadership to the good people of Kogi State, assuring them of his unwavering commitment to rebuilding the state despite prevailing challenges. Dr. Bryhm described 2025 as a year of profound hardship for Kogi State, marked by deepening poverty, gross inequality, injustice, rising insecurity, kidnapping, loss of innocent lives, the collapse of public education and the steady decay of the healthcare system. “While we survived the year, many families did so with pain, fear and uncertainty—uncertain of what tomorrow holds for them and for their children,” he said. According to him, these realities are not mere statistics but daily experiences of ordinary Kogites whose resilience has been stretched to its limits. Welcoming the New Year, Dr. Bryhm stated that 2026 represents a defining turning point in the history of Kogi State. “The year 2026 opens a fresh chapter in the storybook of our dear state. The pages are blank, and upon them we will write the future of Kogi State. The question before us is simple but profound: will that story be one of continued decline, or one of hope, peace, prosperity and sustainable development?” He emphasized that the answer lies squarely in the hands of the people, noting that the decisions and actions taken over the next fifteen months will determine the destiny of Kogi State. Dr. Bryhm reaffirmed his readiness to provide purpose-driven, compassionate, and accountable leadership, anchored on justice, security, inclusive governance and economic revival. “Kogi State does not lack potential; what it has lacked is leadership that places people first. I remain fully committed to offering a credible alternative leadership that listens, leadership that plans, and leadership that delivers. Together, we can reclaim our state, restore hope to our communities, and guarantee a future our children can believe in.” He called on Kogites across political, ethnic, and religious lines to embrace unity, courage, and active civic participation as the state approaches a decisive moment in its democratic journey. “The story of Kogi State will not be written by chance. It will be written by the will of its people. The pen is in our hands, and the time to act is now.” Dr. Bryhm concluded by praying for peace, healing, and renewed strength for the people of Kogi State in the New Year. “May 2026 be a year of restoration, renewed faith, and collective resolve. A year when Kogi State begins its journey from hardship to hope and from survival to progress.” Happy New Year and Compliments of the Season. In a statement signed and issued on Wednesday, 24th December 2025, by his Media Office, Dr. Bryhm described Christmas as a season that transcends celebration, calling it a defining moment for sober reflection, spiritual renewal, and collective action in addressing the security and social challenges confronting Kogi State. Dr. Bryhm noted that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolizes hope, peace, sacrifice, and purposeful leadership—virtues he said must guide governance and public service, particularly at a time when insecurity continues to threaten lives, livelihoods, and communal harmony. Pathway to Kogi’s Progress and Development: Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm By: Hon. M. Sani Kogi State is a land of opportunity, a place where dreams become real. It serves as a bridge between the South and the North, full of natural resources, untapped potential, and a proud history. However, despite these advantages, Kogi has struggled due to a lack of visionary leadership that can turn these opportunities into real progress for its people. Kogi has a rich culture and diverse history; the state boasts a strong heritage capable of attracting global investors through its unique identity and strategic importance. He has backed community development projects, strengthened ties among youth and women, and promoted peace and stability. His leadership is rooted in fairness, justice, and responsibility—qualities that are desperately needed in governance today. For Kogi State, Dr. Folabora offers a unique mix of strategic thinking, compassion, experience, and servant leadership. His proven ability to manage resources, settle conflicts, unite people, and inspire trust makes him the right leader to guide the state toward lasting success. If given the chance to lead, he will bring integrity, accountability, and strong dedication to governance. His main goals will include improving security, boosting economic growth, enhancing education, empowering youth and women, supporting local businesses, and ensuring every citizen enjoys real development. In a time when the people of Kogi look for a leader who can produce real results and inspire hope, Dr. Folabora Bryhm stands apart—a man seasoned in service, trusted in leadership, and ready to create a brighter future for Kogi State. The Kogi Development Agenda (KODA) is a practical plan aimed at turning dreams into reality and guiding Kogi to greatness. Together, we can build a united, prosperous Kogi. Let us join forces for a better Kogi State. Join the movement. With Dr. Folabora Bryhm, Kogi will thrive again. Monday, 22nd December 2025

Kogi Governorship 2027: The Qualities That Distinguish Dr. Folabora Bryhm Among Other Contenders Dear People of Kogi State, This moment before us is not just another political season. It is a time for deep reflection, honest introspection, and necessary realignment for our beloved state. For far too long, our people have been marginalized, overlooked, and treated like outsiders in the very land we call home. Communities that once thrived have been allowed to decay. Families that once lived with dignity now struggle merely to survive. Each day, many citizens of Kogi State wake up with a painful sense of abandonment — as though they are strangers in their own state. Governing a state is a complex and demanding responsibility. It requires far more than ambition; it demands vision, competence, empathy, and integrity. Effective governance involves managing not only physical resources such as infrastructure and natural assets, but also human resources — the diverse needs, hopes, and aspirations of the people. It also requires the effective management of structural resources: legal frameworks, institutions, and policies that shape governance. To successfully navigate these challenges, a leader must possess strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, adaptability, compassion, and a deep understanding of the complexities of public administration. Only leaders who embody these qualities can truly steer a state toward sustainable development, social justice, and the overall well-being of its citizens. Dr. Folabora Bryhm believes in a government that the people can truly call their own — a government that listens, responds, and works hand-in-hand with communities. A government that lifts people out of hardship rather than deepening their struggles. A government that understands that development is not just about large projects, but about real impact on real lives. Dr. Folabora Bryhm’s Core Commitments Development that uplifts the people, not just the elites Policies that give voice to the voiceless Community inclusion in decision-making Accountability and transparency in the use of public funds Fair opportunities for youths, women, farmers, traders, and workers A state where every kobo is spent on genuine progress As we move closer to 2027, Dr. Folabora Bryhm renews his unwavering commitment to the people of Kogi State. He will champion your welfare. He will listen to your concerns. He will confront challenges that others choose to ignore. Above all, he will ensure that every resource belonging to Kogi State is used to create meaningful change for its people — not diverted into private pockets. The journey ahead is not merely political; it is moral. It is about reclaiming our dignity, rebuilding our state, and restoring trust between leaders and the people. It is about choosing a future where the masses are valued, respected, and included — not used, forgotten, or oppressed. Dear people of Kogi State, the choice before us is clear. We can continue repeating the cycle that has brought us pain, or we can choose a new path — a path rooted in fairness, accountability, and genuine development. Let us canvass, support, and vote for Dr. Folabora Bryhm for a better and more prosperous Kogi State. Let us rise together and reclaim Kogi State — for ourselves, for our children, and for generations yet unborn. Dr. Folabora Bryhm Media Office Monday, 15th December 2025

THE FUTURE OF KOGI STATE YOUTH: THE PROMISE OF DR. FOLABORA ADEKOYA BRYHM. The young people of Kogi State stand at a defining crossroads. They constitute nearly 70% of our population, an extraordinary human asset that should be the engine of our progress. Yet decades of leadership failure have turned this demographic advantage into a burden, leaving our youth to bear the weight of economic stagnation, insecurity, and shrinking opportunities. Across Nigeria, the picture is no less troubling. Our young men and women are set to inherit a staggering national debt exceeding N35 trillion. Youth unemployment hovers above 40%. The “japa” phenomenon, a desperate exodus in search of dignity and livelihood has become a painful symbol of a nation unable to nurture its own talents. Many embark on perilous journeys to places far smaller and poorer than the country they leave behind. In Northern Nigeria, and Kogi State in particular, these challenges are even more acute. Widespread poverty, lack of economic opportunities, millions of out-of-school children, rising criminality, and a drug epidemic threaten not only the present but the future of our beloved state. Despite their overwhelming numbers, young people remain sidelined—under-represented, unheard, and under-utilised in governance. It is in recognition of their struggles and in solidarity with their aspirations that I, Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm, present my Youth Advancement Agenda, in line with the Kogi Development Agenda, a comprehensive blueprint to reclaim the future of Kogi State. If elected Governor in 2027, I pledge to implement the following: 1. Innovation and Start-Ups Fund We will establish a N1 Billion Venture Capital Fund, in partnership with the private sector, dedicated exclusively to businesses and innovations owned by young Kogites. The fund will: • Provide equity financing for youth-led start-ups • Support large-scale skills training • Finance the development and mass production of innovative products With prudent economic management, this initiative will create over one million direct and indirect jobs within ten years, drastically reduce youth emigration, and encourage diaspora return. 2. Transitional Youth Support Scheme We will introduce a structured support program for young jobseekers—lasting six months to one year—linked to compulsory skills acquisition or retraining. This temporary safety net will empower young people to transition confidently into meaningful employment. 3. Inclusive and Youth-Focused Governance My administration will set a new standard for inclusion. • 50% of appointments will be reserved for young people, aligning with and surpassing the PDP policy of 35% affirmative action for youth and women. • We will strive for a cabinet that is simultaneously 50% youth and 50% women, reflecting a balanced, progressive, and merit-driven leadership team. 4. Leadership Mentorship Programme To prepare the next generation of leaders, we will create a structured mentorship program that provides young Kogites with hands-on governance experience, leadership training, and direct exposure to decision-making processes. 5. Intergenerational Equity Council We will establish an Intergenerational Equity Council to institutionalize youth participation in policymaking. This advisory body will: • Promote youth inclusion in economic and governance structures • Reinforce civic engagement • Protect constitutional rights, including the right to peaceful protest • Oversee implementation of youth-centered policies 6. A Reimagined Education Sector We will raise education funding from the current 5% to 15% and ensure: • Better remuneration for teachers • A modern, technology-driven curriculum • Improved infrastructure, laboratories, and research facilities • Stable academic calendars—ending the era of incessant strikes This holistic reform will equip our youth with the skills, discipline, and patriotism needed to shape the future. The transformation of Kogi State will not happen by chance. It will happen by choice—your choice. Like the youth of Zambia who changed their nation through the “Take It To The Polls” movement, I call on the young people of Kogi State to rise, organise and mobilise. Get your PVCs. Guard your future for a leadership that respects you, values you, and believes in your limitless potential. Together, we can build a Kogi State where youth are not spectators but the architects of a new era, an era of opportunity, dignity and shared prosperity. Let's do this together. #EveryoneMatters
