I think yon remove the rooted access. If you can reverse it, you will start seeing updates immediately. This is because if it is still rooted and you put another firmware, it still won't get updates... You get?

So remove the rooted access first. And I think the A30 might be on its last update as well. Except for quarterly updates at this point.

Is it because you aren't getting updates? If yes, note 9 is now on quarterly updates, and no more major android updates for it anymore.

You can get the firmware from sammobile. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine.

Currently using Samsung S10.
I'm eyeing Pixel 6pro but it's too expensive as it is now.
I'm looking at 4xl but the reviews I'm getting are not positive, no ultrawide camera and the absence of fingerprints too is a let down considering I like using fingerprints to unlock my banking apps or the phone itself in public.

Any honest opinions.
Is S10 to 4xl a good option
Or I should still wait on the 6 Pro

Other than battery, pixel 4XL is an upgrade on the S10.

Facts bro. Pixel 6's last update made the battery really useless abeg.volume management is a mess. You'll be reducing volume, it will be reducing notifications and ringtones. My pixel 4xl is draining like water before noon everyday. God abeg.

It just comes on once in a while & when it is like that, it would stop charging

I'm not experiencing this, but mine has been draining battery like a bastard. Battery that will carry me from 100 to like 14% from 6am to 5pm suddenly drops to like 30% before noon. They messed up this last update, I swear. Same thing is happening on the pixel 6 pro. Very annoying
