I havent played with a Samsung since after S1 & Note 4 which my wife used for almost 4yrs. But from what i hear the lags and frame drops are noticeable when scrolling through apps, and animations in the UI. All these are minute, ignorable complaints that can be overlooked whenever they occur but when you pay a premium to own a premium device insignificant issues become big issues and tend to annoy.

With phones like Techno & Infinix, you get what you pay for. Lagging, frame drops and hanging are their 3 stooges.

Lol I get you, however even iOS stutters from time to time. No system is flawless. The OnePlus I use, sometimes the navigation gestures become stuck and don't work until you lock and unlock the phone.

All of them get their own issues.

Again, S9 doesn't have that. I used the s9 plus for 1 year before upgrading to s10plus.

Do you have android TVs?

If yes, I need a 55" please.

Performance on the oneplus 6 and s9 is about thesame due to same soc, except the exynos version. Oneplus may be slightly snappier due to its close to vanilla android os unlike the bloated sometimes laggy UI on Samsung. But it all boils down to user experience and preference.

Make una educate us abeg. Cos if you see lag on Infinix and Tecno then you'll understand this is lag. How it happens on One UI is what Im dying to know.

I still insist apart from the Samsung s9 better display and camera. The oneplus 6 over powers it in other positions. I am a first hand user of both.

Samsung S9 got the android 11 update too bro. That one no too join as point. The s9 does not lag, one UI is awesome on it, and it handles apps smoothly.

So where this "overpowering" happens na where I dey try know. Cos e dey easy to watch reviews on YouTube and conclude one is better. For everyday tasks, all these phones are the bloody same.

And yes, for that CoD we fit meet make I show you that glitch. A lot of androids have it except the ones with 120htz refresh rate.

Try upgrade to any 120htz if you haven't make you see wetin I dey talk.

Speed and performance? FOR ME Samsung s9 no even near here tho they use the same snapdragon 845 chipset. I play pubg and within few minutes, It starts to lag on the Samsung s9 and also hits temp of around 45 - 48(not exaggerating). But the oneplus keeps playing super smooth and maintain temp 34 - 41 highest here.

The oneplus6 also lunch apps super fast than the s9.

Battery? E still flog s9 for here

Same here too I am a proud owner of oneplus 6. Damn the phone is super smooth. I remember then that I use to boost to Samsung 9plus users that my phone will beat theirs hands down, and in actual fact it's true the phone was a beast. Drop it home since the screen got broken because it's expensive to fix just like them Sam's too and not even sure i will get the original. If anyone can direct me to a sure place where I can get it replaced I don't mind using it once again as a second phone
