Yes thats very true in all aspects...but we cant blame them for the government actions. The government has only been trying to cover its ass from all the maltreatment to the stolen generation by buying them to shut them up.Nothing can ever change the past, but u know what..good on the aboriginals finally being recognised as people instead of savages.I think Australians as a people, are trying to give them a fair go..Im all for equality. The racism also comes from the war years.Regardless how good the government gives them..they have every right to be here just like us.up until say the past 20 yrs they have been pushed out in missions seperated from whites not all but most or towns out west like dubbo and top of Australia..Alot of Aboriginals are really trying to fit into mainstream Australia and so they should. They have every right to but I must say is not their fault.People should stop blaming them and and give them a fair go..When it all boils down to it it is the governments fault like i said they just trying to cover their asses.Yes as Australians we are friendly and kind but there are ones out there that think they too should get everything for nothing..and these are the dole bludgers..20 30 or 40 yrs on the dole never have a job coz they are too lazy too work..it works both ways..Im not gonna get into a debate over racism..coz as a whole Australia is a very lucky and beautiful country with many opportunities for anyone that wants to have a go and live a good life..We are a self sufficient country in everything.Im proud to be an Aussie.I cant change the past and if the aboriginals get a hand out to help them then so be it..and when they abuse that right then it shud be monitored just like it shud for the whites here too.Its just an unending debate..whos right and whos wrong..I believe whats good for the whites is good for the blacks too..in everyway!!And on a last note grin Australia is a great place to live grin If there are any bosoms about this wonderful country...and your not happy being here...then just go back to where you are from...or lob in another country...and see how good you get it there!!

Wow, so may the sins of the father be placed on the children, is what you mean? It's okay for them to be angry at the white Australians because they were literally chased out of their own land and homes? Do the whites have to suffer for what generations before them caused? Have you forgotten already that our people were sold out during the slave trade? Do I unleash my anger on this generation for something that happened years before I was born.

It is okay for them to go into shops and steal things(not limited to them), it is okay for them to get a car and a house, declare bankruptcy and the government pays it off for them, yet the whites are not given such opportunity. It is okay for them to for no reason yell at bus, train and cab drivers because of the ill that befell them many years ago? It is okay for them badgee into people's houses at night and rape the girls? It is okay for them use bricks to shatter people's car windows and what not? Itis okay for them to look a black person in the eye that refused them cash and tell the person to "GO back to their country"? It is okay for them to get drunk with the money they got from the government? It is okay for them to receive loans from banks without drama but the white person refused? It is okay for them to go to people's houses and demand to use their phones? its okay for their kids to go to school without food and get food provided for them for free but a white child who forgets his lunch pack at home receives nothing to eat until they get home? Are they good ones amongst them? Heaps

You know what? I was going to have a decent convo with you but I thought against it after reading the quoted post of yours. You know what? No I know nothing about their culture and what they have been through, why should I know? I only came here for work and to make money and that is my priority but I also have come in contact with more women who were raped by these peole in the middle of the night and in their own house.

Enjoy

Aussiechick001....Australia is lovely country, with a great work life balance and pretty scenery.

However, I have to admit it can be quite a racist country at times.

It is especially racist towards Aboriginal people. Sorry, but that is the truth.

Its still a great country though.
Yes but not every aussie is like that or is racist..Dont let that stop you from coming here and making a new life..There is racism in every country..and above all our authorities do not tolerate it and thats the way it shud be.Its not as bad as wot u think it is..my advice is..Forget what anyone say..This is a land of much opportunity to better yourself here..and to live a good life..

Ouch grin
Onchedu: Postee, One more thing is, Ur problem with Ur naija man is not peculiar to naija men. Men & women from all over the world irrespective of origin, would be moved in such ways on seeing people they were once intimately involved with & if there's ever a time U need to be more mature than they or U are, it's at such a time.

The past is easily idealised. Emotions come flooding and voices start making cases. The ex knows she doesn't love the guy anymore but voices tell her he belongs to her and vice versa.
U should count Urself lucky he even spoke to his friend about it and didn't deny it & tell U in no kind words that U are letting paranoia get ahead of U.

Lastly, pls when U do get fat, ugly, have a baby that makes U feel like not having sex, U need to slim down And look healthy & attractive, beautify Ur ugliness & give him sex whether U 'feel' like it or not.and stop thinking like the little girls that assume men are ruled by your feelings.

Queensmith,

I thought yall were just kidding when yall said they were dangerous and whorish.  Let me add this before bullets start flying.  I know ALL MEN can be cheaters and dangerous.  I am talking about specifically what a gang of people saying about Yoruba men.   I have seen a few Yoruba men (non gay) were able to sweet talked themselves out of the obvious!  I was like damn they are skilled!

I never assumed that were the norm for Yoruba men.  I guess I wasn't in the right crowd.

They are skilled in sweet talking and getting themselves out of poo.

Hi,just reading all the comments here and just think it shud all be put in perspective.Australia is one of the best and most friendliest countries in the world. There is racism in every country!!As far as wot the person is saying about what Aussies think of blacks thats just BS..I am a true blue Aussie and I am very proud of my country..Australians welcome anybody to our country especially those with specialised skills AND WANT TO COME HERE AND WORK..Australia is the largest island in the world with a population of around 24 million people. We have plenty of room here and we have accomadated millions apon millions of people to our country..We have good jobs and work here.As Australians we all believe everyone is entitled to a fair go..Our $ at the moment is about $1.04 to the USD..Our country is self sufficent for every thing..Do not believe that Australians will not welcome the people of Nigeria here..the person was talking about before was of all the boatloads of people that arrive on our shores everyday as illigal immigrants mainly from Malaysia..these are wot is costing the tax payers money and it is not 30% out of our pay thats just crap actually in fact Australians are one of the biggests in donations to people in Africa...We ARE always the first to lend a hand to our neighbouring brothers and sisters from Africa..AND i Dont like how anyone tries to belittle my country especially if you have never been here..am sure mose people know Ophrah Winfrey,Beyonce as just couple of recent visitors why dont you see their views of AUSTRALIA...thanks to the person that post some pics above of the Gold Coast in Queensland as that is where I live.Yeah it might be a bit of a stuff around with visas coming here...seeing is no embassey no longer in 9ja..but believe me..if i had one wish...is to bring you all here to live...and whether its 22 hrs or 100 hrs like that person said to get here..its worth it to come to the safest happiest friendliest country in the world where you will be welcomed..we know we are lucky here and will always extend our hand in friendship..coz thats just the way Aussies are.. smiley
