PDPGuy: I'm not entirely sure about the length of the extension period. All I know is that it could guarantee that you stay beyond 6 months weldon bro |
Travel › Re: My Southern California Odyssey by austinelex: 8:47am On Aug 23, 2017 |
PDPGuy: Generally, one cannot renew a non-immigrant US visa in the United States.
But you could extend your "authorized period of stay" by filing a form I-539 with the USCIS. The authorized period of stay is usually a 6-month period starting from the day the CBP officer stamped your passport at the airport. Of course, any application for extension has to be filed well before your period of stay expires. pls at pdp guy after filling d form is it d normal 6months stay i wud be granted and also if my period of stay expires for d new one can i still fill anoda form pls pdp guy shade more light God bless u |

PDPGuy: E-verify is a voluntary program by which a good number of US companies and businesses verify the legal status of prospective/new employees. It basically entails running the person's name on an electronic software to check whether that person is legally authorized to work over here. As someone on a non-immigrant visa, family is the only route towards adjustment of status thank u at pdp guy but anoda que i want to ask is can one renew his tourist visa over dia b4 it expire if posible how can one go about it thank u |
Travel › Re: On Vacation: New York City by austinelex: 11:51pm On Aug 22, 2017 |
Bossman: No, you can't legally work with a tourist visa. Under the table, where you'll get paid cash, that's possible. However, you certainly risk getting caught, deported, and being banned for life from entering the US. You can probably change your status, say if you get married to a US citizen during your visit. ok thank u at bossman for d idea shared but anoda que i want to ask is can one renew his tourist visa b4 it expired over dia if posible how can one go about it thank u |

PDPGuy: You can't work in the US with a tourist visa (except in businesses that don't do e-verify). You can only adjust your status if you have an immediate family member who is a US citizen helloo at pdp guy pls wat do u mean by e-verify and also asid immediate family member is dia any other way one can adjust his statue(as in non immigrant statue |
