We Edo people place a very strong value on coral beads than Gold, it's the same reason we name our precious daughter "Ivie". And the type of coral beads we use are different from those used by people from other region. The type we use is called "Ivie". Oba Akenzua and the reigning Oba Ewuare II had their entire outfit made of coral beads. A material (very similar to mesh) made of beads is worn under the outfit. Ivie when polished can turn out red, rose, or pink; depending on your colour of choice.

Oba Ewuare instituted coral beads into the Edo tradition in 1400 A.D upon getting it from the sea goddess at Ughoton, a gateway to Europe in the times of my ancestors from where they traveled to and fro Lisbon and traded with the Portuguese. Bini craftsmen became experts at carving coral beads. Ivie was strictly for royalty, until it was reviewed and allowed to become an identity of all Edo people. Ergo, Edo brides are dressed in a coral bead crown. Please note that the Bini bride is a queen who must have her crown (beaded coral crown called Okuku) on during her marriage ceremony. The Ivie are either sewn directly onto her hair or she wears it as a wig.

well, it depends, I live in Karu site (just before Nyanyan) and there are alot of agents around here with houses that are readily available but mind u, u wont be able to get a self con for 100K in Karu, so u should be looking at 150k-300k depending on the standard of the house.
As for Nyanyan and Mararaba, u should be able to get that of 100K but it might be below standard so I would suggest u put ur mind on 150k.
And for Lugbe and Airport Road, I don't know much about the cost of rent and the security in the area

I bet you submit the same CV for all the jobs you apply for, how would they invite you for an interview?
You have to show them that your a potential asset and your first line of defence is your resume.
So even if you have to lie on your resume just to get an opportunity to be interviewed, go ahead(provided you can defend it)

Then what happens after you are invited for an interview?
You have to study to be able to convince them that you are qualified for the job. Even if it means learning a new skill asap.

Put some work and effort in your search for a job, you have to be willing to edit your resume over and over again.
Edit your resume to suit the job description your applying for.

Lastly start small. Start with a lower paying job and develop your self.
With a low paying job you have a reason to leave your house everyday(less depression), you stand the chance of networking with people, you can use the office Wi-Fi to develop yourself and this would qualify you for a higher and better paying job.

Stop giving excuses and go to work.

Thanks ...The training spans for 11 months so the pay has to be reasonable cus it would be difficult to live on stipends for almost a year...

Sometimes I would just put myself into temptation.

Wow, that was fast, let's just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best...there is really nothing we can do about the process...one thing for sure, they will definitely attend to all those that passed...keep faith alive

I met the love of my life in 2006( I was 14), we were having Teenagers week in my church and her church teenage group was invited to do a song as well as participate in the bible quiz competition, The moment I saw her, I fell in love with her...I was to recite a poem in the course of the program and I did it in the best possible way to impress her...I also took part in the bible quiz competition and was given the award of the best participant...we were later asked to talk with them (the invitees) and thank them for honoring our invitation to the program and I got the opportunity to ask her name and what school she was attending, class, house address and other stuffs...we didn't have a phone then so we didn't exchange numbers...but anytime we were having church programs, she usually come around and I do same (mind u, we weren't dating, just friends)...At some point, we didn't get to see each other for almost a year or thereabout until the day I wrote my Jamb exam, I submitted before other candidates and while I was stepping out of the hall, I heard someone whisper my name, I looked back and it was her, I then signaled to her that I would wait for her outside, when she was done, she came to meet me and we talked about the exam and other random stuffs and exchanged contacts...we then started talking on the phone daily and we barely slept at night cus of free night calls back then...Jamb result came out, I passed but she didn't, I did my post Jamb and passed as well and I gained admission to study civil engineering in Uniben...Before I left for school, I officially asked her out and we started dating, the following year, she also got admitted to Uniben to study Microbiology and the relationship continued...we both graduated and went for service at the same time, I was posted to Abuja and she was posted to Osun, we tried to hang on to the relationship during our service year not minding the distance... service ended and I decided to stay back in Abuja while she got a job in Lagos...Its been two years and I am out here trying to put things in place but I can see that we are drifting apart already and everything is fading away cus we barely get to see and her clock is ticking real fast and the distance is not helping matters
