1. Make sure you dont buy a flooded altima. 2. Get a diagnostic tool if you want to use an altima. Mechanics guess a lot with this car and they dont like it. My mechanic kept hailing me cos of the way i took care of my altima without a diagnostic tool. 3. The maintenance is very very affordable. 4. Fuel efficiency is great. 5. I dont know why. My plugs werent lasting more than 3 months. I guess its because my thermostat was removed in my first and sevond engine. 6. I learnt how to be a mechanic with that car. 7. Finally, if you must buy this car, Number 2 (diagnostic tool) must always be with you. 8. I changed up to 20 fuel pumps throughout the time I used the car. Mine was 1998 Nissan Altima. The same body style as 2001 model. Same engine. The grill and lights are different. 9. The year before I sold it, I changed the engine. And I started enjoying it again. Bye for now...
