Blending the sensational lines of the LC 500 with a classic color palette, this new limited-production LC aims to evoke a more refined, mature coupe without giving up any of the modern performance, technology and style that makes it so desirable. The transformation starts with its distinctive Nori Green Pearl paint, an exclusive Inspiration Series color for the LC. Subtle in its depth of color, yet eye catching at a glance, the distinctive shade of green complements every angle of the LC's stunning design. A set of 21-inch, two-tone wheels complete the look that elevates the LC's style profile to another level. The interior of the LC Inspiration Series is equally striking thanks to a two-tone color scheme that highlights the exceptional design and craftsmanship found in every LC. The 10-way power adjustable seats are trimmed in aniline leather, the softest, highest-grade leather available in the Lexus lineup. Fuse is a protective device in the car . It helps to protect component on your vehicle. E.g the fuel pump is controlled by fuse, the fuse will not allow power surge to damage the fuel pump. A fuse is rated according to their capacity and power, each fuse we have in fuse box has different colours and the essence for the colours is to be able to differentiate between the different amperage of fuse we have in the car. When you see a fuse box, you will see an array of fuses containing different colours, the ones that has the same colur have the same amperage with their different amperages. However, the circuit of those amperages can break if ther is voltage above the the respected amperage. We should me mindful of the fuse when it becomes damaged due to overloading on the fuse because when it happens it can lead to fire outbreak in your vehicle. The origin of all the fuse your vehicle system is from the fuse box. When a fuse become burnt make you change or replace the fuse with the right fuse and ensure that you are not overloading the fuse. When to change spark plugs: 1. Engine has a rough idle Your engine idles when it is a stationary and in this position the engine normally produces around 1000rpm. The sound the engine gives off is constant and smooth but if your spark plugs aren’t performing as they should, your engine will produce a rough and jittery sound while producing larger vibrations through the car. Not having this checked can lead to costly damage being done. 2. Having trouble starting your car? Many people put their car not starting down to being out of fuel or having a flat battery. One possibility you may overlook is having bad or worn spark plugs. If your spark plugs don’t produce the spark needed to get the vehicle moving, then you’re going nowhere. It is also possible that faulty spark plugs are causing your battery to drain. If so you need to have your battery and spark plugs changed as soon as possible. 3. Your engine misfires When your engine misfires it causes the vehicle to halt for a fraction of a second and then continues it’s usual movement. This means the vehicle isn’t functioning as smoothly as it should because one or more cylinders aren’t firing properly, which can also lead to higher amounts of emissions. 4. Engine surging When a vehicle sucks in more air than usual in the combustion process it can cause the vehicle to jerk and then slow down or continually start and stop, which means the vehicles engine is working inefficiently. This is also known as engine hesitation and dangerous situation can arise if this occurs in traffic. 5. High fuel consumption If your spark plugs have deteriorated you’ll notice that your vehicles fuel economy can decrease by up to 30% due to incomplete combustion. If you notice you’re having to fill up more often than usual it can be caused by deteriorating spark plugs. To get back to your vehicle’s optimum level of fuel consumption all you’ll need to do is have your spark plugs changed. 6. Lack of acceleration If your vehicle is accelerating poorly it is fairly easy to tell. It feels as if the vehicle doesn’t want to respond when you put your foot down, or it does but not instantly as you’ve become accustomed to. It can also feel as if your vehicle is trying really hard to pull itself along. This ‘sluggishness’ can be easily fixed by having the vehicle serviced with a spark plug change. If you’re not able to change the spark plugs yourself, it’s time to get your vehicle in for its next service. All Repco Authorized Service centres make sure to test all vital components like spark plugs in their safe checks. Salah ("Daily prayer or worship", from Arabic ṣalawāt), also called salat and namaz (from Persian), is one of the Five Pillars in the Islamic faith, and an obligatory religious duty for every Muslim. It is a physical, mental, and spiritual act of worship that is observed five times every day at prescribed times. When they do this, they must face to Mecca, towards the Qiblah. In this ritual, one stands, bows, and prostrates oneself, and concludes sitting on the ground.During each posture, one recites or reads certain verses, phrases, and prayers. The word salah is commonly translated as "ritual". Using this word when translating to English can be misleading, as the word "prayer" is also used to translate a different word, "dua", a reverent petition made to God. Salah may be better translated as "divine worship", as it consists primarily of worship rather than petition. Salah is preceded by ritual ablution. Salah consists of the repetition of a unit called a rakʿah (pl. rakaʿāt), consisting of prescribed actions and words. The number of obligatory (fard) rakaʿāt varies from two to four according to the time of day or other circumstances (such as Friday congregational worship, which has two rakaʿāt). Prayer is obligatory for all Muslims, except those who are prepubescent, are menstruating, or are experiencing bleeding in the 40 days after childbirth. THINGS TO CHECK IN YOUR CAR. 1. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority has denied allegations of arbitrarily imposing fines on traffic offenders for violating the state traffic law. A statement by the agency on Wednesday said traffic offenders were usually taken to court, where a magistrate would rule on appropriate sanctions. LASTMA issued the statement after a Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos ruled that fines imposed on motorists by the agency were illegal. The General Manager of LASTMA, Mr Musa Olawale, explained that the agency had been complying with the ruling delivered by a Federal High Court on September 16, 2011, by issuing offenders referral notices for appearance in court, stating the specified fines and penalties. “No LASTMA official has the power to impose a fine on any traffic offender without recourse to the court, which then pronounces judgment on the matter,” he added. Musa said some motorists, who acknowledged their offences and did not want to face the court, on their own volition opted to pay the stipulated fines to avoid penalties that could result from further inspection of their vehicles. “We will not condone any illegality in our operations in any way. Rather, we will intensify our efforts at ensuring compliance as well as safe and free-flow of traffic by the commuting public on every road in Lagos State,” ( Mr Musa Olawale ).

Tire rims hold the rubber tire in place so that the vehicle can function. With so many sizes and styles available, you may wonder what the difference is, how rims work, and if the differences matter. Rims are also known as wheels and are necessary for all automobiles, from passenger cars to commercial vehicles. Wheels provide two uses: they reduce friction and they provide leverage. The rim is an important part of the wheel because it rotates around rods that are called axles. Some friction is necessary to turn the wheels, and that is provided by the tire contacting the pavement. This helps the vehicle move along. The rim magnifies the amount of force applied, which provides the leverage. The amount of leverage depends on how large the wheel or rim is. This impacts performance for your vehicle. Why Rims Matter Many people focus on rims because of their aesthetic appearance. Change out the style or size of rims and you can create a new look. Bigger rims may make a vehicle appear more muscular or sportier while smaller rims create a low profile look. Rims do more than just make your vehicle look good. A good set of car rims enhance your vehicle’s performance and provide a smoother ride. Changing the size of the rims on your vehicle impacts the alignment, handling, braking, and acceleration as well as the calibration of the speedometer. Considerations before installing an aftermarket rim: Make sure it fits in the wheel-well Consider the correct backspacing, which is the width of the wheel and the location of the mounting plate Ensure it matches the vehicle’s bolt pattern Determine if there is an adequate selection of tires to fit Make sure the wheels don’t rub anything on the vehicle Working with professionals to choose new rims helps ensure that you select a design that is suitable for your vehicle. Components of the Rim Outboard face – this is the part of the rim that you see on your vehicle, while people often select it for the design, it also provides the structure for the rim. Center bore – the empty hole in the middle of the rim that is often covered by a cap when the rim is on the car. Plate – the section around the center bore that contains the bolt holes for the lugs. It connects to the axle seat and the rotor while everything else on the wheel connects to the plate. Spokes – the long, thin structures that connect from the plate to the edge of the rim. They come in four-spoke, five-spoke and other patterns. They also provide part of the design element of the wheel. Dish – the part of the wheel that connects to the spokes, the exterior of the wheel Bolt circle – the circle that is created by the centers of the bolts Valve stem – provides a hole to fill the tire with air, may be made of rubber or metal Important Measurements of the Rim When fitting a rim to a vehicle, there are two important measurements to consider. The first is the center bore, which is the hole in the middle of the rim. This fits the axle that is attached to the hub of the vehicle. It holds the wheel in place and is measured in millimeters. The second measurement is a combination of the bolt pattern and the bore circle diameter. The bolt pattern is how many holes are in the rims that bolts or lugs attach to. Four- and five-lug patterns are common in most vehicles. The bore circle diameter is the diameter of the circle measured in millimeters or in inches. For four-lug rims, you measure the two opposing holes. With the five-lug rims, you look for the two holes that are directly opposite from each other.

If your car is hard to start, experiencing engine performance issues, or has the Check Engine Light on, you may need to replace the fuel filter. Fuel filters are a common service component found on virtually all vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. Their purpose is to filter out any particles that may be present in the fuel, keeping them from entering the vehicle’s fuel system, such as its fuel injectors and fuel line, and potentially damaging them or the engine. As is the case with most automotive filters, over time the fuel filter can become excessively dirty — to the point where it can no longer filter out particles efficiently, or even restrict flow. Usually, a faulty fuel filter will produce any of the following 4 symptoms that can alert the driver of an issue with the vehicle. 1. Car is Hard to Start One of the first symptoms commonly associated with a bad or failing fuel filter is hard starting. A dirty fuel filter may restrict the fuel system flow, or at least make it inconsistent, which can cause the vehicle to experience hard starting. This is more likely if the filter on the vehicle has never been changed. 2. Engine Performance Problems Other symptoms of a bad fuel filter fall under the category of engine performance issues. Sometimes the fuel filter can become clogged to the point where it negatively affects engine performance. A severely dirty or clogged fuel filter can cause the vehicle to experience several engine problems: Misfires or Hesitation: Under heavier loads, the clogged fuel filter may cause the engine to randomly hesitate or misfire. This occurs as particles clog the filter and deplete the fuel supply going to the engine. It tends to be more notable when accelerating. The engine may also shake or stutter at different speeds, as the amount of fuel varies due to the dirty filter. Stalling: If a clogged fuel filter goes unaddressed for too long, it may eventually cause the engine to stall as ideal fuel flow dwindles. Extra stress and heavy loads placed on the engine may instigate the stalling or, if you wait to focus on earlier warning signs, the engine could stall shortly after starting the car. Decrease in Power and Acceleration: An overall lack of engine power, especially noticeable when accelerating, can be caused by a dirty fuel filter. The engine’s computer ends up restricting the output to protect the engine from potentially damaging particles. The car may feel sluggish, or even go into limp mode and illuminate the Check Engine light. 3. Check Engine Light Comes On Fuel filter problems can also cause the Check Engine Light to come on. Some vehicles come equipped with fuel pressure sensors that monitor the pressure of the overall fuel system. A clogged fuel filter may cause low pressure, which will set off the Check Engine Light to alert the driver — if detected by the sensor. The Check Engine Light can be set off by a wide variety of issues, so having the computer scanned for trouble codes is highly recommended. 4. Damaged Fuel Pump If you notice damage to your fuel pump, it may be caused by a restricted fuel filter. The clogged fuel filter puts too much pressure on the fuel pump and prevents the proper amount of fuel in the fuel tank from reaching the engine. Most fuel filters are relatively inexpensive and easy to change. If you suspect that your vehicle’s fuel filter may need to be replaced, have the vehicle inspected by a professional technician, to determine if the component should be replaced.

It took the Italians seemingly countless attempts to bring Alfa Romeo back to the United States, and now that we've lived with one for nearly 40,000 miles, we have to wonder if maybe they should have taken more time. Like Alfa Romeo, French automaker Peugeot pulled out of the U.S. in the 1990s after years of disappointing sales and quality woes. So when parent company PSA Group recently announced its ambitious plan to reintroduce Peugeot to America, it sounded a lot like Alfa's many promises to return—more than a little incroyable. After all, before that news, Peugeot's place on the list of dead-to-us nameplates seemed to be permanent, cemented between Opel and Pontiac. But PSA says its goal is to have new Peugeots on our streets by 2023 in numbers well beyond those the brand struggled to sell before surrendering our market almost 28 years ago. So why the return? PSA's energetic boss, Carlos Tavares, is much of the reason. The former Renault and Nissan executive was installed as CEO in 2014 and launched what the group calls its "push to pass" strategy: PSA intends to introduce a wave of new products and electrified powertrains while also targeting a 50 percent increase in sales outside its European homeland by 2021. PSA is currently the world's ninth-biggest automaker, between Fiat Chrysler and Suzuki, but Tavares believes it will need new territories—namely the U.S. and Canada—to grow beyond the 3.9 million cars it sold last year. After dropping hints about a U.S. return for several years, PSA confirmed that it would be back by 2026, more recently cutting that deadline to 2023.

The check engine light on the dashboard is a warning that many vehicle owners dread. The check engine light is a signal that the on board diagnostics system has detected a malfunction in the vehicle’s emissions, ignition, fuel or exhaust systems. It could be caused by something as simple as a loose gas cap or a faulty oxygen sensor or spark plug or something as severe as a faulty catalytic converter or major engine problems, so you shouldn’t ignore it. All cars and light trucks have on board diagnostics that are supposed to detect engine-related problems that affect the emissions control systems. The check engine light (typically a yellow or orange outline of an engine with the word “Check” or “Service Engine”) should come on for a few seconds every time you start the engine with other warning lights. If it stays on, that means there is a problem. If your check engine light is flashing or blinking rather than staying illuminated, it indicates a serious problem that needs to be dealt with right away. Many of the common causes of an illuminated check engine light are simple and easy to solve, but sometimes, an engine light means something serious has gone wrong.
