When markets opened on Thursday, Bezos had a net worth of $90.6 billion, putting him $500 million ahead of Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Amazon stock opened up 1.6% on Thursday, adding $1.4 billion to Bezos’ net worth. That was enough to put him ahead of Gates, who was last surpassed on Forbes’ real-time rankings for just two days nearly a year ago by Spanish retail giant Amancio Ortega.

Forbes started tracking billionaires around the globe in 1987. Bezos is now the seventh person to hold the title of the world’s richest person and the third American to top the global ranks besides Gates and Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett.

Popular and award winning Nollywood Yoruba actor Femi Adebayo was on an interview with us and he revealed everything we need to know about his car.

Femi Adebayo is the son to the ace actor Adebayo Salami (Oga-Bello) who was formerly the Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP) national President.

Below are the interviews we had with him.

What was life at the beginning without a car?

Life at the beginning without a car was not easy, i remember i had to walk and jump into public vehicles to arrive at my destination. It wasn't funny i must tell you.

What was your First car?

My first car was actually a gift given to me by my father,he used the car for several years before passing it to me. The car was a Mercedes Benz 320. i felt good afterwards because i could drive around to places i couldn't go before.

Do you obey Traffic laws?

Of course i do, i obey traffic rules all the time even at night i always obey the traffic lights and drive carefully.

What do you check in your car before going out?

I always check if there is water in my radiator, i check the lights, the engine oil, the tyres before going out.

What is your speed limit when driving in town and on the highway?

When i am in town, i drive 40- 50 but when i am on the highway i drive 80- 100.

What is your take on Customized plate number?

Personally, for security reasons i wont want to customize my plate number. But for others , i am indifferent about it.

What is your take about AUTO Insurance?

I insure my car, because it is very good. i advice every car owner to also insure their car.

To all my fans i will say be safety conscious, it one life don't joke with it. Don't drink and drive, don't use your phone while driving.

Just yesterday as i boarded a public transport home, i was in the midst of some passengers when a car passed by and it got everybody talking.

You might ask me what they were talking about?

It was an auto crash. While the driver was busy driving, the lady sitting close to him was busy chatting and taking pictures. The driver rammed into another vehicle .

What is my point?

Sometime accident or Auto crash don't just happen, distractions among other

reasons can be a cause.

Imagine if the lady was concentrating on the road while riding beside the driver, she could have been observant enough to see the car coming and adverted the accident.

I have the following safety tips for you when you ride shotgun(Beside the driver)

Yes, you also have a job to do, don't just leave everything to the driver.

1.DON'T DISTRACT THE DRIVER; many shotgun riders are fond of distracting the drivers and as such the consequences are catastrophic.distraction includes, engaging in long discussion that can take the driver's eyes off the road, showing the driver something on your phone while driving.

2.BE THE NAVIGATOR; it is very easy for you seating at the other side to see what is coming , and the places to go . if its a new place, why not use the map and search for the place instead of leaving the driver to do all the work .

3. BE THE ASSISTANT ; the driver may probably need to check his phone, be in need of something while driving, you can do assist the driver with that.

4.STAY AWAKE; for instance as a driver, you drive on a very long journey and the person sitting next to you is already in the dream land, how boring and uninteresting the trip will be. In a short while you as a driver might soon start feeling sleepy. please stay awake if you are riding shotgun.

5.DON'T BE A CONTROLLER; Driving with a person that controls you and dictates to you like you are his puppet is very frustrating, it is also unhealthy for the driver. You should only say your observations while driving and not be a control freak.

I hope these few tips will be beneficial for your safety when you riding shotgun. It will also be of help to the drivers and prevent auto crash.

An autonomous car (also known as a driverless car, auto, self-driving car,robotic car) is a vehicle that is capable of sensing its environment and navigating without human input.

Many such vehicles are being developed, but as of May 2017 automated cars permitted on public roads are not yet fully autonomous. They all require a human driver at the wheel who is ready at a moment's notice to take control of the vehicle.

Companies developing and/or testing driverless cars include Audi, BMW, Ford, Google, General Motors, Volkswagen and Volvo. Google's test involved a fleet of self-driving cars -- six Toyota Prii and an Audi TT -- navigating over 140,000 miles of California streets and highways. A single accident occurred during one of the infrequent occasions when a human was driving. Another test of over 1000 miles was completed successfully with no human intervention.

Here’s how Google’s cars work:

The “driver” sets a destination. The car’s software calculates a route and starts the car on its way.
A rotating, roof-mounted LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging - a technology similar to radar) sensor monitors a 60-meter range around the car and creates a dynamic 3-D mapys of the car’s current environment.
A sensor on the left rear wheel monitors sideways movement to detect the car’s position relative to the 3-D map.
Radar systems in the front and rear bumpers calculate distances to obstacles.
Artificial intelligence (AI) software in the car is connected to all the sensors and has input from Google Street View and video cameras inside the car.
The AI simulates human perceptual and decision-making processes and controls actions in driver-control systems such as steering and brakes.
The car’s software consults Google Maps for advance notice of things like landmarks and traffic signs and lights.
An override function is available to allow a human to take control of the vehicle.
Proponents of systems based on driverless cars say they would eliminate accidents caused by driver error, which is currently the cause of almost all traffic accidents. Furthermore, the greater precision of an automatic system could improve traffic flow, dramatically increase highway capacity and reduce or eliminate traffic jams.

Finally, the systems would allow commuters to do other things while traveling, such as working, reading or sleeping.

The German motor company ZF unveiled its latest transparent car which is said to be equipped with different security systems, it was presented at Frankfurt Auto Show IAA Frankfurt, Germany.

The technology world is moving on a tremendous speed, innovations after innovations. Google also came up with its own self-driving car recently of which are still under testing, so the tech companies are competing every now and then.

The CEO of general motors, Mary Bara said there will be a big change in the industry in the next five to ten years period than we have in the last 50 years.

The ZF transparent car is fully equipped with security systems, you can easily see clearly what exactly the car has inside including the engine.

who else can remember the popular Molue buses in Lagos back then? it was basically the cheapest means of transportation, aside the price, it has so many side attractions. from the mad rush to board the Moule(please if you are wearing a white outfit get ready to alight with a different color) to the unending dramas in the bus . Men and women, young and old, fall over one another to get into the vehicle.

After many must have boarded, with injuries sustained atimes, settling down is a different experience entirely. Men and women standing are packed like sardines. As though it is the standard, every Molue has one or two drug hawkers on standby. And hardly would the buses move before they take their turn to sell their wares, arrest the attention of their audience and thrill them as the bus takes off.

Cases of stolen money ,wristwatches, phones and other gadgets was very high. Some passengers alight from the Molue with a sad face mourning their missing stuffs,some don't even find out until they get to their destinations while others are smiling after a smooth operation.

As a matter of fact,anything happens inside the Molue, expect anything , It is in the Molue bus that cases of man rubbing his manhood against the bum of a woman standing in his front is reported without shame.
