Eating while driving is one of the most common forms of distracted driving. Along with other distracted driving behaviors, the act of eating snacks or drinking beverages while behind the wheel presents serious safety risks on our highways.

Dangers of Eating While Driving

It’s important to understand the dangers associated with eating while driving. There are three common types of distractions that impair drivers’ abilities to safely operate their vehicles and avoid crashes:


Visual distractions occur when a driver’s eyes are diverted away from the road to complete or pay attention to another task.
Manual distractions require drivers to take their hands off of the wheel.
Cognitive distractions take a driver’s mind and focus away from driving
Please ensure that you eat very well from home before you embark on driving anywhere in other not to eat with one hand while driving. This will prevent any form of distraction that can lead to accident and also the Lagos State Government is enforcing this law,so don't be caught in the act.

Easter Monday was fun as families and friends went to Galilee and Easter fun fair. there were lots of foods, drinks and merriment. Lagosians didn’t allow the present recession to hinder their fun this Easter. a bus driver decided to get himself drunk to stupor in all kinds of alcohol to celebrate his Easter.

The drunk commercial bus driver picked up his car keys in the celebration mood and ram into the gutter as he damaged his vehicle and the shops in construction. Apparently, he was no where to be found, he manged to escape but he left his damaged bus in the accident scene.
My question is after the whole Easter celebration, how will he afford to pay for the damages of his vehicle and the damages of the shop owners in this economic hardship ,where people are finding it difficult to feed.

This is a wake up call for all Motorist to be conscious while on steering,Don’t drink and drive. The consequences are catastrophic.

I witnessed a motor accident that almost occurred on my way to work this morning.A young guy was almost knocked down by a car,whose driver was driving on very high speed. Due to the public holiday,the road happens to be very free . I observed that some motorists drive without observing the traffic rules, they just enjoy the freedom of smooth driving. Pedestrians also don't watch the road before crossing.

If you are a motorist, kindly drive with care to avoid accident ,don't get carried away by the smoothness of the road and absence of traffic.Obey the traffic light.

For pedestrians crossing the road. you need to look carefully before you cross the road. Don't take advantage of the free road to cross without proper observation because a car might be coming behind you.

Don't wait until your fuel gauge is sitting on E to refuel. On an unfamiliar road, you never know when the next fuel station will appear. As soon as you hit a quarter of a tank, start looking for a place to fill up.

Charles Stevens, CEO and chairman of the Connecticut-based company claims that one gram of thorium yields the energy of 7,500 gallons of gasoline. The energy is harnessed by heating the thorium with an external source, which then becomes so dense that its molecules emit heat.

Multiple countries and military agencies have experimented with Thorium as a fuel source for a number of years.

If your car was powered by thorium, you would never need to refuel it. The vehicle would burn out long before the chemical did. The fuel would in fact out live you.

Thorium is a naturally occurring radioactive chemical element, and is most popular for its potential to replace current nuclear energy generation by implementing reactors powered by thorium, which would be an alternative to uranium. It’s definitely a much safer fuel for civilian power plants than uranium.
