You have your point but at the same time, the company holds back some ex staff entitlement due to some atrocities some had committed before resigning. If you are the type that steal the company money when you were still with them, they will not release your entitlement but if you don't have skeleton in your cupboard, the company will 100% release your entitlement without deducting a peny from it.
