You've got s good response already. I will advise you take your time and read from the first page.

stifo2012:
Please relax, you need to read the first page of this thread to understand some basics.

For the point calculator, use this https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/tools/points-calculator

For 189, you can work and live anywhere in Australia while for 190, you are expected to live and work in the sponsoring state for your first 2 years before you can relocate to another state.

State your point breakdown so it would be easy for people to advice you.

Thank you. yes she put in for EOI last month, and we will do that of ACT,Victoria and NSW as advised.
my score is 55 point reason why she's the principal applicant.

bellong:

With 70 points, you should be able to get ITA. What will be your point if you are the principal applicant?

To increase your options, you can apply for state nomination too 190, ACT, Victoria and NSW sponsor civil engineering occupation.

ACT, NSW and NT sponsor construction project manager.

Have you put in your EOI?

I'm a construction project manager while she's a civil engineer. She's the principal applicant.
Thanks

You did not state your occupations.

Good evening everyone,

so my partner and myself have been on the canada journey for a while but finally realized it's not for us, since we both don't have masters. we did our assessment with both EA and Vetassess and came out positive. Bellow is our point

1. Age-30
2. Experience -10
3. Education - 15
4. English test - 10
5. Spouse Experience - 5

I will want to know if we are fine for the 189 visa class or we need to take the English test and target 20 point which proves very difficult for us.

Oga Bellong and other oga's in the house kindly out. Thanks

Thank you for the trend, i have my admission letter sent to me and i have the required funds to be blocked. But i'm worried with the right Bank to use. I've registered with FINTIBA but require the house to help out if i can block my funds with them. Thanks

Mamtobs:

*Proof of financial means for one year by one of the following options*:

a) Confirmation of blocked German bank account bearing an amount of minimum 8.640,-€. During the visa process applicants have to submit proof of having sufficient financial means for living in German. This can be done by opening and funding a blocked account. When choosing the provider you have free choice. Suppliers worldwide offering this service can be found on the website of the German Federal Foreign Office.

b) official German declaration of sponsorship („Verpflichtungserklärung“) for the purpose of studies/ language course given before the competent German authority *(Please note: FINANCING IS USUALLY ONLY SECURED IF DECLARANT RESIDES IN GERMANY)*

c) proof of scholarship of a German/ European organization covering the arising costs
