Even if na elementary. Or kindergarten certificate, I go vote for am. Whts d essence of phd holders who can't perform? If a candidate with WAYEC( as phd holder's wife will call it) will perform, den y not give him a chance? The fact is there is 50 percent chance he may be better and 50 percent chance he may not perform but there is 100 percent chance that the so called PHD holder can't do better. Life is all about risks and some ar worth taking
I agree with u,their is a chance Buhari will do better, but Gudluck has failed even when he is seeking reelection u can imagine hw much he is going to fail if we give him another chance when he knws dia will b no reelection.

Hello people,
I'm glad to see this thread has picked up even after the data loss.
I'd say this is one of those threads on NL that has kept me going smiley

@kunlejazz: your post is so on point bro. I am working at a consulting firm with a 50k pay (just increased it this month though) and I must confess, it hasn't been easy considering a lot of my pals that work in PWC and the likes. Starting big is good...it is over-rating yourself that's bad. I'm won't say I'm proud of where I am but I'm not shy either. I'm busy gathering all experiences here and personally developing myself and career for the Shell and the likes. cool

Wherever you find yourself, just make sure you have a bigger picture

right now, mine is so bright I need sun-shades cool

I guess u still an undergraduate so u dnt knw watz obtainable out there,it is better to b a first class in a nt so popular university accredited by nuc than b a 3rd class in a well knw uni.coz when it comes to interview they won't even care to call less see what u gat in ur brain. come to thnk abt it students don't make good grade in ur school does not make it the best ,it simply mean ur lecturals are as dumb as u d students

cutiedave: wow,dis sounds nice.bt i need ur advice on dis issue.
i got admitted into yabatech last yr to study mech.eng bt couldn't resume bcus of d poly strike. Bt during d course of d stike,i obtained d jamb form to study mech.eng in unilorin.recently i had to change to mathematics bcus i dident meet mech.eng cutoff mark.
ma question is-should i continue with mech.eng in yaba or mathematics in unilorin? And which has better job opportunities.TANX
u will need to give it a gr8 thought, university degree is desirable but with bsc mathematics.u might jst end up as a teacher or year without job.it also depend on ur passion,if u hv no passion for pure mathematics,u may find thngs difficult

wesley80: Most of those guys mentioned are preoccupied with scheming to bring down the Jonathan govt to give a damn about the systematic retrogression of the entire Northern Nigeria. * Very Sad*
I think the writer is on realistic an bias, this is not a problem facing d north only poverty is a something peculiar to nigeria at large.where was he wen el-rufai was using is intellectual to bring abuja to it master plan,is he ignorant to what sanusi is doing to stabilise the economy. It pains when learner ed ppl talk like illiterate

jaymichael: Wetin concern this useless government with how the citizens spend their hard earned money. You hustle, you pay company tax, land use tax, personal income tax, radio and tv tax, advert tax, VAT, etc etc.. you pass roads that are suppose to be free, you pay tolls, you provide your own electricity, water, pay for your own healthcare, education, you never get anything done for you @the local government or state secretariat without you paying them money. Inspite of all these, you manage save some money to celebrate your IKOMO or your daughter's wedding ceremony, government still dey vex say you no get right to celebrate unless you give them something. Na wa o! when will this government start to think of giving to the people instead of fleeing them?
my brother I think lagos state government is taken thing 2 far nd it should b condemn by lagosian coz very soon they will begin to tax for eating 3 square mill
