It’s time for my testimony (Not an “A” Agency mind you)…
I’d been on the job search as you may or may not know for about 7-8 years.
I’ve spoken to SOOO many DG’s, CEO’s, Ministers, PA’s…shared so many CVs….had so many promises, wrote so many test/exams, had a few interviews….but on this fine day in June… I got a letter! (I repeat, Not an “A” Agency mind you)
About 10 days ago, a friend called me that an agency MD asked him to bring CVs if he has people (but only Science/ Engineers). So after he asked a few people, somehow I came to his mind and he spoke to me, and of course I sent the CV to him not expecting anything to happen, because who is he really?
This afternoon he just forwarded APL to my WhatsApp!

Submitting CV >> Physical Screening >> Written Examination >> Interview >> Medicals >> 1 year+ Training & P.O.P >> Offer letter & Posting letter.

Yes offcourse .they dont ask any question once they knew where ur coming from. Some dont even attend interviews and some were at the interview for physical verification. But once they get in , they will ask them to get additional certificates to cover that one shikenan.some dont even show any document untill during documentation. I can attest to dat coz my friend was recommended by the current AGF malami for a job and only thier names and qualifications were sent untill during documentation that they saw their certificates.

You people are very naive about recruitments with FG agencies. Better pay no mind to your connect and simply move on. If u were not called just forget about the recruitment, it means u were not successful. ICPC wanted 220 staff, would that be overcrowding if they were all called for documentation ? They will tell u sweet tales to give you unending hope. How many FG recruitments are done in batches? Mention just 1 you heard of in 10 years.
Move on and try other options that present themselves as for the ICPC, it is very very over and don’t let anyone deceive you. NNPC called 1050 GT’s then it’s 220 staff that cannot be dealt with in one swap? In your heart you know it’s over but just want to hold on to straws .

My connect just told me that there will be another batch for the documentation. That this is the invite are for those first batch that went for the interview. They dont want overcrowding at the headquarters thats why

Hearty Congratulations to all who made it to the end.
Recruitment in Nigeria is unpredictable.
At the CBT held at ACAN Keffi, I had a score of 19/25 (76%), second to the guy that recorded a score of 21/25. Had all credentials intact, an MSc in Computer Science, a BSc in Statistics & Computer Science for the Officer 1 position. I had a swell time in the oral interview too and I guess, I did well. I can't really figure out what went wrong with my application.

ICPC should let us know what is going on.
If the recruitment exercise has been concluded, those who are unsuccessful will at least have closure.
We already know that very few people will be employed and some of them may not even write tests or sit for interviews.
So why keep thousands of youth waiting?

From my fundamental observation, Emperor is at fault. You are not competing with anyone in sharing information. If you have any update then share it, stop abusing people. It looks childish and unprofessional. You need to be diplomatic and understand individual differences.
We need to stop all this type of vituperative comments. May our name be among those that will be shortlisted for the training. Ameen.
