Dear house I have a 1.8 m offset satellite dish to explore the satellite world. Location Akure (South West) what are my options. I prefer satellite out of reach of 90m and CBAND.
what type of CBAND LNB can I used and decoder ( Linux receiver )...

I have a srt 4220 when scanning no channel was detected but using the same set-up with srt 4940 it scan and channel will come up clear and fine. Kindly advice & help.
Secondly I have DSTV Decoder when plug to power a red LED come up and that’s all no display whatsoever. Any solution.

Hello house any ones with pic of combine 7W and 3 W where 7W is the primary. because I have I have a 90m dish for 7W so am thinking of attaching 3W or other birds if u have a pic that can assist I will appreciate

Pls anyone with pictures of both ABS 3W and MBC 7w should kindly post as am having challenges putting both on same 90M dish

Today, as novice as I am i track all sat based on the inform on this thread i:e yamal, bahr, ses astra, etc. thanks to all for your contribution. Soonest I will go all-out for big dish.

I have been having challenges with my strong decoder (4940) being unable to perform some trick i.e. enter of B key. I need your advice on which decoder support our crusade FTA.

I want to order for a decoder that will give value for my money, optimum Benefits in term of FTA & Infringe sat signal probably a Linux satellite receiver box on the net, kindly advice me which one is the best in term of support for
FTA, Acceptance of CARD (My TV etc), IPTV, Internet access, Enter of Bliss, Picture quality, 3D, HD etc.

Also I will appreciate all other using this type of box “linux receiver” information on what other benefit for using the box

Am not an installer, but through info from the guru on this forum i was able to track My TV, Multi TV and Amos 5 with all hiting green but my main challenges is that all Channel on Amos 5 are scramble mean lock except DISH & CCTV.

1.Can someone please assist me with info on how to get FTA on amos 5, as most (not all) of the channels appear same as DSTV channel

2. My decoder is Str 4940 can it work with biss key


3 if the answer to Q2 is no which of the below decoder will give the best in term of FTA
