Hi guys i got an SMS from etibaba telling me that on easy cliq i can now call everyone on etisalat for 20k/sec at the same N5 i was paying daily to call only other easy cliq numbers before. I asked a friend who works with me and he confirmed it. he also said all easy cliq numbers can FINALLY make free midnight calls to all etisalat numbers and send their free SMS to all etisalat numbers. e be like say them just dey wake up ni! Heard gist from a friend at MTN that they are bringing in Chris Gardner (the man whose story was acted out by Will Smith in Pursuit of Happyness) for a special program with young professionals. i guess they want to associate their Xtra Pro brand with the mans inspiring story. I'll get more info and update us as they drop, its going to be an exclusive event though.

Guys the thing is not as sensible as it sounds. Rmbr nigeria is a unique GSM market, no other market is like naija where u have some ppl who already hav 3 sims!

If i already hav an MTN sim and a celtel sim like i do, why do i need to port to any of them?

Also if network quality is low already when u know dat 0803 is mtn and 0805 is glo and 0802 is celtel, wat wud it be like when no one can say for sure which network d erson he is calling is on?

wats the motivation to protect ur brand number's rep by improvin quality?

I think the way the Mobile number portability will play out in Nigeria will be a real case study
