The above could be said of popular human right police officer, fraud interloper and above all, the distinguished African Union Police Coordinator. Remi Adeoye is neither a new face in the Police Force nor a new name to people who may have benefitted from his activism.

Known for his bluntness and never-say-die attitude in busting crimes against humanity, Remi Adeoye has carved a niche for himself not only as a sophisticated and committed law enforcer but the fact that he does it with finesse makes it all the more interesting. This could be attested to by many who may have come in contact with him one way or the other. It is little wonder therefore, that the Police Service Commission on the recommendation of the Inspector General of Police, Mr Mohammed Adamu added another feather to his cap as He is now Deputy Commissioner of Police. Many are not surprised with his meteoric rise to the top as former ACP Remi Adeoye has through the years represented what could be the shining light in the hitherto maligned Police Force. Taking to his Facebook page to break the news, he wrote;

“Dear friends and followers,

I am happy to inform you that the Police Service Commission, on the recommendation of the Inspector-General of Police, has approved my promotion to the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police. The promotion was backdated to last year.

I am grateful to God for the gift of life. I thank the IGP and PSC for finding me worthy of this position. My commitment to the Nigerian project is absolute. My loyalty to the Nation and the Force, unshakeable.

I thank you my friends, colleagues, followers, well wishers and members of my family, nuclear and extended, for your love and support at all times.

To God be the glory.”

Olakunle Churchill, ex husband of Nollywood actress, Tonto Charity Dikeh, responded to a fan who was obviously attacking his wife in a way that drew applause from the fans on his Instagram page. Mr Churchill had posted his picture on his instagram page with the caption ; "caption this", a fan decided to go raw and asked ; "Is this girl Tonto mad?". Olakunle responded by writing ; "ah please oh, still the mother of my lovely son. She deserves more respect i beg"
This elicited thumbs up reactions from the fans on his page as they saluted his maturity and calmness despite recent shades thrown by Dikeh Tonto.
