Even if our universities are well funded, lazy students will still fail, lecturers will still sleep with girls and dash them unmerited As,lecturers will still come to class once in a blue moon, lecturers will still collect money for sorting, corruption will continue to increase because lecturers will have money to pay for sex, lecturers will still stay in their offices and send notes to us through our class reps, lecturers will now open their businesses and forget to come and lecture, lecturers will still fail students they hate, lecturers will still hide the important topics and teach us fake one, lecturers will still hide topics they don't know and teach us the one that is simple to them, lecturers will still not allow students correct them in class because of pride. So why is ASUU now wasting our time in the name of funding universities.Jonathan knows what lecturers do that's why he cannot fully implement ASUU's demands.ASUU is fighting the loosers fight. |
Now all Nigerians including professors of english do use this word unseriousness. Now the question is does this word exist? Open your dictionaries and if you can find it then keep using it but if u can't find it use non serious instead of unserious.More words to come. |
Le me see how you people will post this news everywhere again. Yesterday agreement reached today ASUU reject the offer, in my thread is said only ASUU can say when the strike will be called off. |
The FG/ASUU conundrum as been an enigma to many students thereby causing them to suffer from amnesia which generate mental happiness because of the little uncertain news about Goverment and ASUU reaching agreement.I hate the fact that people just jump and shout because of one news that we have been hearing since the strike started. It is only when ASUU say the strike will be called off soon that we should all jubilate.I hereby urge the moderators of educational section of nairaland to delete all those posts that says Fg/ASUU reahed agreement and strike to be called off soon or today or tomorrow. Are you people not tired of hearing soon from the Fg? Please wait for ASUU soon that is when you can post even to the general section of nairaland, thank you. |
Raystroud Ereh: Cross river award letter is nw ready o, i collected mine yestaday menh! Thanks for d info man. Please what n what do they need please? |
alexleo: You people are just rejocing for nothing. Some of these lecturers are already lecturing on contract in private universities. Some are doing part time lecturing in neighbouring countries while others are engaged in other businesses. You think they ll just fold their arms and be waiting for FG to pay them? Now, FG cannot also sack them because the number of professors and PHD holders we have in this country are not even enough for the number of universities on ground. That is why you see some departments are not given accreditation. If FG sacks them, where will they get profs and Phds to replace them? Or you think FG can produce professors overnight? That's why at the end of the day, FG will still pay them all their arrears. You can't operate a university without professors and PHDs holders. If its a first degree holders thing, FG would ve easily intimidated them but, its not so in this case o. Think twice. FG knows this fact very well that's why they are running around whipping sentiment from people like you. If you know something, you students should face the FG to keep to their agreement with ASUU. Now let me give you this info, do you know that ASUU has a cooperative they are running over the years and because of the no work no pay they asked their members to come and collect money from the cooperative if they are in serious need. Funny thing is that its only a few of them who have gone for that money. If they are dying of hunger as you think, why haven't they rushed the cooperative? Why is it that its only a few of them that have gone for the money?. And the ones that went, took just small amount from the cooperative. When we get this info from some of them that are close to us, we pity people like you who think that FG will win them. Keep dreamingwhat is this one saying? You better shutup if you are not a student.Idiot. |
alexleo: Oh...so why are the two of you angry with the prayer since you believe that FG has treated ASUU well? Shows the hypocrisy and selfishness in both of you. You want ASUU to meet your deman by calling off the strike while their own demands have not been met. What a selfish folks both of you are. What a pity.Mr man, i think this ASUU/Fg conundrum is not an enigma to you that's why you are talking rubbish.Go and start ur primary school. |
alexleo: And may you meet with unfulfilled agreement all the days of your life just as ASUU is being treated by the FG. I guess this balances your prayer.who is this foolish goat? |
Ymodulus: He spoke the truth ASUU have no connection with ASUU.what is this one even saying? |
tfk08: Now i know u n an ordinary animalwhat is this one even saying? U said u n an ordinary animal. This your english may enlongate ASUU strike. |
Hearme: Which universities are you even talking about? The least university in South Africa is better than our best. Don't even mention Egypt or Kenya? Same applies to our hospitals, what has the FG done to improve the hospitals? Why are they all traveling out for check up? Why is the petroleum industry bill pending? Why is Farouk case and other high profile cases pending? Why is there serious attention to the divide in PDP rather than attention to National issues. Why is it easier to do bad things and very difficult to do good things? Why is it easier to grant amnesty to militants and bail out banks, and we cannot bail out education and health? Why is it that Nigeria is the only OPEC country that imports refined Oil. Why can't I have power supply for 72hours stretch and my fixed charge has been increased by 200% in 3 years (250- 750)?you are very free to port to another country |

No one can fight the government. |
It is disheartening for ASUU to keep Nigerian students @ home knowing too well that no one can fight the government. |

ASUU might sound like a word that does not exist in the mind of farmers and some countries except USA that is considered to know most things about other countries. To students of Nigerian universities,ASUU is a word that could cause panics in the minds of students and some times lead to suicide and bored way of living. When this so called ASUU embark on a strike,Nigerians students some times feels they have voted in good leaders that can quickly deliver them from the strike but it is unfortunate that we got leaders who prefer to play politics than solving the problem.Since ASUU went on their indefinite strike, several meetings has been held but yielded no good result, some times we students wonder whether they do go there to find a way forward or they just go to argue and drink beer. After their so called meeting is been held and concluded, the federal government negotiation team will use some political words just to calm the students down and such words include:ASUU will soon called off the strike, ASUU set to called off their strike, ASUU strike may end soon,ASUU strike will be called in the next two weeks, ASUU strike might end next week and the media will use that opportunity to publish their news thereby giving students hope what a country! Nigerian students has become hopeless because NANS that should have been fighting for the entire students using protest as a fighting weapon might have been bought by either the federal government or ASUU, on the other hand the new pdp who are now giving Mr president their conditions for peace in their party might have forgotten to include ASUU strike in their conditions. The only thing i can tell Nigerian students is that they should keep on praying because every start has an end,God will end ASUU strike for us. |

3@nairaland.com:sharrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaap b4 u mad idiot. |
lloydtruth: exactly the reason why nigeria is not moving forward, please mr. Father is it ASUU that you are supposed to sue or Government? You absolutely have no business with ASUU, but with government who owns the schools then government can go and settle with their workers( the lecturers).sharrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaap my friend |
With the type of saddists we have as lecturers i don't think there will be any difference when this their demands are met.Imagin students will greet a lecturer goodmorning sir,he or she will not answer. I remember when i greeted my lecturer and told him sir its been long he did not even wait for me to finish he jst said long what? And work away. All what they preach to us students is that we will fail, they will use 5 munites to lecture then use 1:30 munites to tell us about their family backgrounds and how they will give us F.I swear if not for turtorials that we pay for our senior colleques to teach us we would have been illitrates in the university God will help us.when you tell a lecturer that you need to comeout with a first class or 2:1 he or she will say u are dreaming no encouragement atalllllllll, what a country may God help us again Amen. |
mustaphagreens: Oga na dis kind English dey make ASUU no wan call off this strike, they feel 'university' is just a waste of time for students like you.Past tense of sue is sued, understood?hahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahhhahahahhahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhhahahaah |
