He said: “You have been here for over one year now, there are 1,181 soldiers here; if you cannot take over Baga which is less than 5 km from your base, then we should forget about Baga.
"I will inform the Chief of Army Staff to redeploy the men to other places that they can be useful. You people said there’s no Boko Haram here, then who attacked us?”
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that unknown gunmen had attacked the convoy of Zulum at Baga, a town in the northern state, on Wednesday, July 29.

DISCLAIMER: I am not here to defend Buhari, or to defend APC, PDP or Maina.

Maina is getting out of jail because he has met his bail condtions. It took him 9 months, but he has finally gotten there, and is out...for now.

It does not mean the case is over. It certianly means that if he tries to run away, the chaps who stood surety for him are in trobule. In other words, Maina is still on the hook for the pension funds he stole.

Whether he actually runs away is another matter.

I see a lot of people grumbling here. Instead of grumbling, MEET YOUR SENATOR OR HOUSE OF REPS MEMBER....and get him or her to sponsor a bill that makes corruption a non-bailable offence. The problem with Nairaland is that we can sit down and grumble all day long and feel like we have done something...when we haven't.
may God bless you, I don't know maybe our people don't read or they lack wisdom to understand simple statement. if court grant him bail and executive refused this same people would be the one shouting. a bail granted doesn't mean the case is over.
it is obvious that their is nothing our people will appreciate, it is now I believed that if Buhari tile road to door steps of igbo, they will always be ingrate.

Stop paying for business on a forum like Nairaland. Why do people still fall victim of some evitable scam when there are hundreds of people who do better in your city or town and you can easily reach out to. I hope you learn your lesson now though in a harder way.
of course I do. I never new I can be scam. I am a private school teacher just desperate to get something doing.
