If you ask me, this is a less sophisticated advertising approach, seun should collaborate with some business developers like myself and create a team on building a robust and more effective revenue generating business model, that would rake in millions from the traffic nairaland gets.
Nairaland as of today can rival iroko tv , they have over 900,000 registered members for goodness sake, nairaland needs to run a campaign to wake up some members from their slumber, run an online campaign to increase its traffic and run some programmes tied to it, how did nairalist become so popular, through nairaland, it is unfortunate it shut down, im sure due to the fact that the money coming in from adsense was not enough to sustain it.

Right now, im working on business models for facebook pages of over 50k fans.
i reach out to facebook pages that have well over 50,000 fans on partnering with them in developing business models and short term and long term revenue opportunities.
I develop business models that can be implemented on any facebook page in the world and can target your fans and generate revenue for your page.
I also advise on best practices of fan engagement and interaction,so as to increase the number of fans on the page and also increase fan page activity and daily interaction. The mode of operation is for me to develop models which would be implemented by your admins and both of us collaborating and strategising on best effective strategies to implement these models. For every revenue realized from our joint venture, and business models, we would amicably split the proceeds.

I also run a clohing online store to target nigerians in diaspora : http://9jawear.spreadshirt.com
And i'm also a graphic designer.

There are deeper and more powerful strategies of making money online from a dedicated following of members.
Nairaland has a lot of Nigerians in diaspora, and remember Nigerians in diaspora collectively remit over 3 billion dollars back to Nigeria every year
Seun needs a unique business solution that will adequately generate revenue from Nigerians in diaspora on this site and also Nigerians.
we are also looking at small scale businesses who would love to advertise on this website.
We are also looking at simple strategies of leveraging on this sight and making money.
Nairaland can decide today to start its own iroko tv clone and get more subscribers than iroko tv in a month, nairaland has all it takes to become the highest earning startup and full time dot com in Nigeria, it has been there since over 5 years ago it deserves to be at the top.

If Seun is willing to contact me via : dutonialmx@gmail.com
i can propose some other creative strategies and solutions he can use to generate millions from nairaland
No kidding at all
Practical solutions that can be used to leverage on niaraland's traffic
nairaland is beyond iroko tv and co,
nairaland can start what iroko is doing in seconds and make more money
it has the traffic and loyalty from members

sorry this is a sample of 154 by 95.
but seun shouldn't limit designers
You should completely mimic google adverts on nairaland, same dimensions, same everything
copy their format, don't limit advertisers to this small size format, its too myopic

This is one of my adverts for a clothing line , i posted on adwords :
What do you think :

A lot of web developers who have websites with traffic would soon realise that google adsense is not it at all and they can actually do away with adsense and make millions, ad sense leverages on your traffic an pays you peanuts, you get a lot of hits and impressions for virtually cents, while google takes all the money, very pathetic scenario

I think seun should get a business developer that would design a proper advert business model for nairaland and also some other creative business strategies that would help nairaland generate revenue.
The first mistake a website owner should think is that the only money he can make is from adverts from other people.
There are some other creative strategies Seun can generate revenue from nairaland,
The current adverts being advertised are too small and unattractive and not professional, you should setup an automated advert system and integrate it with multiple payment systems.
Also i have a solution to target local advertisers in Nigeria, who don't even use the internet which can see that nairaland generates over 100 million naira in a month

Aloe Vera is a natural remedy for skin related problems.Tissues which repair with the use of non-organic aids heal
but often leave an unpleasant marking called a scar. The acemannan contained in Aloe stimulates correct and coordinated
tissue repair which, together with the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals, promotes faster and more ordered
healing, preventing the formation of a permanent scar.
To gain visible results on pre-existing scars, treatment with 100% pure Aloe juice should be carried out for a few months.
This allows the time needed to stimulate and correct the production of collagen and connective tissue. The same
treatment is recommended for stretch marks. Stretch marks often occur in women, especially on the thighs, or on the abdomen,
due to a thinning of the skin tissue after pregnancy.
These marks are formed by a physical stretching of the skin together with changes in its protein structure caused by hormones
present in the skin’s collagen tissue. Stretch marks manifest after a rapid increase or loss of weight, an excessive
and rapid increase in muscular mass, or after infectious illness. In any of these situations, apply Aloe gel twice a day
for a period of a few months, until they are visibly reduced or disappear. It is also helpful to eat foods rich in vitamin E,
to consolidate and potentiate the actions of Aloe Vera.

Nature Cure vs Modern System

The modern medical system treats the symptoms and suppresses the disease but does little to
ascertain the real cause. Toxic drugs which may suppress or relieve some ailments usually have
harmful side-effects. Drugs usually hinder the self-healing efforts of the body and make recovery
more difficult. According to the late Sir William Osler, an eminent physician and surgeon, when
drugs are used, the patient has to recover twice - once from the illness, and once from the drug.

Drugs cannot cure diseases; disease continues. It is only its pattern that changes. Drugs also
produce dietary deficiencies by destroying nutrients, using them up, and preventing their
absorption. Moreover, the toxicity they produce occurs at a time when the body is least capable
of coping with it. The power to restore health thus lies not in drugs, but in nature.

The approach of modern system is more on combative lines after the disease has set in,
whereas nature cure system lays greater emphasis on preventive method and adopts measures
to attain and maintain health and prevent disease. The modern medical system treats each
disease as a separate entity, requiring specific drug for its cure, whereas the nature cure system
treats the organism as a whole and seeks to restore harmony to the whole of the patient’s being.

Home remedies and natural cures or medicines made at home from natural ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, herbs are catching a lot of attention due to its very nature of cure: simple, no side effects, no chemicals, inexpensive, plus the pleasure of being able to cure yourself!.

One natural way to treat dieases is the use of a wonder plant called Aloe Vera.

The best part is that you too can prepare aloe just like this
in your own kitchen
