Mr Okonkwu, you are the one living in the past. You ran away from the war front in 1970 and your defeated generals surrendered.
Biafra was buried and even the bones have become red clay. You can't bring it back to live; it is dead, decayed and completely finished grin grin grin grin

I laugh at the thread. Isn't it this buf00ns wey dey tell us "no real Igbo man supports Biafra just miscreants do", it's now they realize every igbo supports Biafra. There is no Igbo person dead or alive that disagree with biafra. Till date, I've yet to meet an Igbo against Nigeria's disintegration. Many have kept quiet while the rest of us bold enough to speak would gladly speak their mind. How do you expect someone to speak against what they support? Only the likes of okorohausa, the greedy abokii slave, is the type willing to speak out against Biafra and even when he did, ohaneze, despite selling out years ago, spoke up against his audacity to speak out against biafran agigtators. While Una dey there, they try to tell us who or what support Biafra online, we know the real deal hence we keep asking for referendum. That referendum would shock the sh1t out of una.

Anyway if ACF like make them call amadioha to come intervene, they can even called Jesus to come and intervene, it will not stop Biafra. BIAFRA is in our blood, our people died fighting for Biafra and we will die fighting for Biafra until it is actualized. I AM PROUDLY BIAFRAN, not Niggerian.

You are a nut case. For someone who can't spell 'Nigerian' properly, a cow dung is more relevant than your comments on this matter. As amadioha did not save you the last time, your bragging is a confused noise made by a pig after the butcher's knife had gone past its windpipe! grin grin grin grin grin

And what are you? Instead of spewing trash online man up and be identified by your ethnic nationality.

Charlatans who have helped to ruin this country and have gained from the injustice in the polity, would still sink as low as denying their own origin in a shameful and disgusting manner, disguising with all sort of antics and lies on Nairaland, in a bid to cow some persons to remain perpetually gullible under their diabolic spell.

Your ploys are well known. Your whims and caprices are dead on arrival!

You have vomited slime without making any coherent thought but unmeasured insults, which did not address his cogent points.

Typical of your kind!

Who told you that the formation of Biafra calls for all indigenous biafrans to return home?
When Nigeria got her independence from britain, did that happen?

How else can you resurrect dead biafra if not through force of arms, especially as a huge chunk of them are not even in favour of breaking away and so is the rest of Nigeria?

Must one be highly educated to understand the benefits of self-determination of homeland? Nigeria's problem is not only tribalism but stark illegality.

It is not self-determination but egoism. Nigeria is not the only multi-ethnic country. If each tribe wants self-determination there will be a plethora of communes with each passing-off for a country.

This is not a necessary topic at all because south south is a complex zone which in it self does not have any meaning, hence discussions should be based on ethnic groups making up the zone. If you feel your ethnic group is disposed to biafra, fine stick with your clamour for biafra but if your ethnic group is not OK with it, then face 1 Nigeria. No body should come here and generalize things here as if the whole south south congregated in his house and told him we want or we don't want biafra. It's hopeless to generalize in this modern world where people are informed and have the ability to make opinion for themselves. shikena!!

The same thing can be said about Igbos from the SE.
Many of them all over Nigeria would prefer one Nigeria to the repeat of Ojukwu's debacle.
Even without war, half of Igbos or more across the country who are doing well would rather remain one with Nigeria than break up and pack to the SE where majority are traders with no one buying from one another, shortage of food and heavy industries! It is a recipe for disasters!

Why must the demand for Biafra be equivalent to war and death? I keep saying it, only parasites force co existence.

Most Igbos that are indifferent to Biafra are so not because if given the choice they won't chose Biafra, but because they are scared of the war and death the Nigerian parasites will unleash, if we declare Biafra again.
They are not sure adequate measures have been taken by Biafran agitators to ensure the playing ground is levelled.

Most Igbos are well to do in one Nigeria. Most agitators are largely uneducated and have least to loss in a climate of anarchy.

You have been parasitically feeding on Nigeria from amalgamation and now have the misplaced mouth of calling Nigeria parasite?

If you like you can gather your troop and level the playing field for your war against the finger that fed you.

We shall see if you will live to tell your nightmare!

It's gonna be a place where everybody is equal in everything. Hardworking, honesty, dedication and patriotism is gonna be our guiding principle. If Edos want there own country good for them, if Ijaws or other Niger Deltans want there own country, good for them. If they wanna join Biafra or remain in Nigeria, also good for them.

There is no racism here but honest truth.
You brought the insults on yourself.

Why didn't you chew your words before labelling the entire people of Nigeria primitive savages and cannibals?
Further, you know Mr president is someone's father and old enough to be your dad but you made him object of your insults.

In Nigeria, people respect old age because it is a gift from the creator. I know you said you don't believe in God.
The bottom line is that if you go online to insult people, you can expect a blow-back manifolds!

I will use this opportunity to appeal to all warring parties to please call a truce and put this behind us as Nigerians.

Ignore the idiot!! He seems to believe in modern day warfare an hausa-yoruba coalition will just run over or beat a SS/SE coalition, he's also assuming and taking for granted that the NC will tag along with them in that quest.

We have oil and we have access to the sea and as such a guaranteed supply route and an unlimited supply of arms amongst other things, only fools like them with no strategic knowledge come and make assumptions, what we don't have sadly is a cohesive and centralised organisation.

Labouring under a delusion, blood-sucker!

Ultimately that is what should be done: to create a confederation of independent states or regions so development comes at comfortable paces for each region. Nigeria is too blessed to have her economy n resources tied mainly to one source. This continued unitary system that emasculates the minority to their detriment must stop. The moment that is achieved the quest for secession will most likely die a natural death or be severely weakened and there'll practically be a level ground for all thus making the centre unattractive. Until that is done peacefully, people will feel cheated n rightfully so. Then they end up taking up arms and demanding a forceful disintegration. Let wisdom n justice prevail.

Imagine Aregbesola and other inept governors justifying their inability to pay salaries on d basis of d crash in oil prices. If we had regional representation and development would he be looking up to the centre for bailouts? Or relying on oil prices? Each affected region would have decided what it needed and worked towards fulfilling their mandates. Where they fail their regional heads or leaders would be held fully responsible with nowhere to hide. Oshiomhole will not be haranguing Okonjo Iweala for any reason because his region would have it's financial team to hold accountable. Even the Borno State governor along with the leaders of his region would not allow boko haram to fester while he sits comfortably calling for amnesty for a bunch of lawless brigands n criminals hiding under the guise of religion because it is the hard earned resources from his region that would be compromised. However when he expects amnesty for no worthwhile cause and it is expected that d cash cow called the ND will produce d funds needed for such amnesty program due to no fault of theirs, do u expect them to applaud n be happy?

Nigeria has been mismanaged beyond words: both the states and the central government. The level of corruption is nauseating to say the least. Compounding the ND situation is that their leaders are in it for themselves; thereby depriving the people of any benefits. The so-called MEND commanders became millionaires and contractors under GEJ at the expense of their foot soldiers.

The oil companies are allowed to get away with blue murders. The environmental devastation of ND by the oil companies has not been adequately addressed because those who should prosecute erring companies are also on the take.

In the US, the cost of BP oil spillage of 2010 is costing the company almost $43 billion because the government's first duty is the protection of its people, their livelihood and property.

In Nigeria, the government will not champion the fight for compensation for the affected communities. This situation is not helped by pipeline vandalism.

Nigeria has numerous solid minerals, including gold, but everybody is focused on quick money that oil brings to the neglect of other sources of revenue. The lesson from dwindling oil revenue will refocus minds.

Despite all this, war is not an option nor is secessionism. It will only cause untold suffering to ND people because when two elephants fight, the grass suffers.

Arrant nonsense. Most developed countries of the world are homogeneous. It foolhardy to cite USA and other countries as diverse at their formative years. USA was purely English and the culture remains solidly the same till today. Do I need to mention Japan, Germany, Italy, France and even Portugal? I do not give a ratass if Nigeria is divided into 350 nation states as long as I have Republic of Igbo land.

What a daft pretension to knowledge! Ever heard of native Americans? US is a country of immigrants in addition to the natives. The other countries are a collection of aboriginal, migrants, intermarriages and regional dialectic people. Your republic of igbo land is a mirage, bigot!

You know what, I know you were not born then, but Charles Taylor once 'flee' abroad when Samuel Doe was showing his stupid impunity. When he returned Liberia was no longer the same. Let us not push our luck too far in Nigeria. Buhari should just let sleeping dog lie. If he tries to carry this his "winner takes all" and "conquering mentality" or attitude over to Niger Delta, he may end up with nothing called Nigeria. I am sure some wise people advised him on the amnesty matter to rescind his earlier decision.

Whether we tell ourselves the truth or not, this country can never be the same again. Yugoslavia held on for so many years deceiving themselves, USSR did the same, even as close to us as Sudan, they tried, but ultimately they crumbled. The only hope for us is to restructure Nigeria. If we fail to do that and continue this patch-patch ideology, it may be too late for Nigeria.

Whenever a hat drops, SS/SE want Nigeria to divide along ethnic lines. Go round the world and you will find that most countries comprise of different nationalities working for the common good of all.

South Africa, Ghana, Senegal, Zambia, Cameroun, Kenya, Ethopia, China, Russia, UK, USA, Canada, India, Pakistan, etc, are just examples of multi-ethnic countries.
If every tribe wants its own country, will you divide Nigeria into 300+ countries?

Yugoslavia was a western conspiracy aimed at weakening Russian hold on Eastern Europe. USSR was a collection of countries in a union, which could no longer continue the space and global domination race with the west and America. It was not militancy or the biafran-like chorus that dissolved USSR. Even today majority remain in a confederation of independent states.

War is a brunt instrument that kills mostly the innocent people while war-mongers and leaders sit in air-con offices.

I dare say however that Nigeria will be Nigeria and if the militants in the SS/SE want an expensive experiment, Nigeria will execute it with a ferocity unequalled in Biafran war. I pray not for war, though some untrained souls on NL have the annoying habit of beating the drums of war on empty stomach.
