GeeKudi: You must by all means defend your vote. That's what a responsible citizen would do. I will be doing that too. But, you must equally realize that we have a voting population spread across tribal, religious and other considerations. And so, it will be gravely erroneously of you to expect that the final outcome of a presidential election must tally with the voting pattern in your homogeneous poling unit or community. The right you have to vote your candidate at Upper Iwenka is the same right a fellow citizen at Idi Iroko or Sabon Geri has to vote theirs. At the end of the day, the majority tally will be the winner. That is exactly how democracy works. Crying or shouting will not change this. Threatening the nation is also a bush behaviour not compatible with democracy. I mentioned Sokoto to draw attention to your most recent threat on this thread which has turned out to be just an empty misplacement of emotions. Nigeria is bigger than any one of us. The Losers can make the streets red in their own part of Nigeria. After the madness, they will have to do the cleanup by themselves or continue to smell the stench |

GeeKudi: But the new shares were already paid for. Why would there be a price adjustment again? Adjustment is done for bonus issues because they are allotted free and the price adjustment makes provision for them. The only thing that can depress the SP after listing the PO/RI and PP will be profit taking but I want to believe that those who acquired the PP will be available to deploy their bullion to mop. |

presiade: I don’t think that way. Singapore and a few other countries attained their independence after us and are doing well today. The major problem with Nigeria is the I-too-know mentality (over smartness), so no one (group) wants to be the biggest fool for the others. Therefore, all the efforts are just cancelling out one another.
Religious influence is another major bane of the country as the versions (Europeanized Christianity and Islam) that our people practice are targeted to enslave the minds.
We can definitely break free and self-organize ourselves. Hopefully, someday before it’s too late. We lost our way after the Regional Government constitution was torpedoed. That was the compass that would have guided Nigeria to her greatness |

Ocallen: Guys, please help, I was asked to make a payment on Leadtraderng (LEAD CAPITAL plc) to get my account activated. Is that how they operate? I was given two account numbers, one for Mutual fund and the other for Equity with a minimum pay of 50K and 250k respectively. If you don't put money in your wallet how will you buy stocks? Your account is on zero balance and their minimum amount to start operating the account is what they have told |

Afromentalist: It is precisely because the how does not add up that I do not believe. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidences. Unfortunately he owes no one any explanation unless he voluntarily chooses to do so. We should stop judging others from our own circumstances and experience to validate our biases. Even if you doubt any claim, seeking clarification would be the appropriate way to go about it while retaining your doubts. Over and out. |

essentialone: Concerning Union Dicon Salt Plc, what does NGX and SEC Rules say about a majority shareholder of a listed company, who can no longer be reached, and who may have died, or may have been lost forever?
We do not anticipate things, until they happen. Lack of proactiveness. Information suggests that AIM Limited is a investment company with it's origins in Brazil |

Mpeace: I think this war in Iran is getting to something else. I called a Dr. working in Saudi, she said the airspace over there, and almost every city in the middle east has been shut down. So even if you want to return back to Nigeria, it has to be a special and very expensive arrangement or by road. Iran is just throwing missiles at all directions. Dangote has raised the pump price of fuel and it's just starting. I hope out stock exchange don't get negatively affected It doesn't look like the US has learnt much from it's Iraqi misadventures by expecting the war with Iran to be sorted in a few days by merely dropping a few bombs and taking out the Ieadership. We saw it in Iraq, we witnessed it in Libya and Syria. We should all be prepared for a long sumtin. |

nosa2: Unless one sees the trading book and can see which parties are trading in the stock, it is advised not to judge to conclusion. I personally don't believe the stock was deliberately manipulated. It could have just been a unique set of circumstances that led to an unusual situation. There is nothing illegal in selling your stock in batches so long as you are not working in concert with the buyer/buyers. Is this you? |

emmanuelewumi: They can even have an Offer for Sale, whereby existing shareholders will sell part of their holdings to the public at a fixed price unlike listing by introduction whereby the price the existing shareholders will sell will be increasing on a daily basis. That gives room for manipulation This too can be manipulated. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ayobama1: 10:28am On Feb 23 |
emmanuelewumi: It is a scam.
If you want to come to the market come through an Initial Public Offer or an Offer for Sale They only need to tighten the rules around listing by introduction. That's how regulatory oversight evolve. |
