::::::::::ASUU MAY COMPROMISE::::::::: The Head of the Student Union Government, President Solace hereby summon the entire population of Ladokities to converge at the Student Union Building with immediate effect to discuss issues concerning the on- going strike action embarked upon by ASUU, LAUTECH. ASUU may compromise as the leadership of LAUTECH ASUU congress may call off the on-going strike action on the basis that "promises have been made by both Oyo and Osun government" and resume the strike action as for us to finish our Harmattan semester examinations Of which it is agenda to send us off home, while they resume the strike and possibly increase the tuition fee. This implies: Ladokites will not be in school to show their grievances or protest. Increment in Tuition Fee will be unavoidable as the management is funding payment of salaries with internally generated revenue IGR. Structures will not be erected in the school by any of the State Governments. Our Prayers: *ASUU should sign a "black and white" undertaking stating emphatically that: There will be no strike-action for the next three (3) years. *There will be no increament in Tuition Fee of Students *There should not be Non-challant attitude to work by lecturers as there is every tendency that staff might be downsized *Structures will be erected in our citadel of learning with immediate effect by the State Government of Osun and Oyo. The school management should: *Give at least 3-4 working days notice before the commencement of the on-going examinations of Ladokities as some of our student have travelled and others demoralised. *Re-open Student Portal for payment of Tuition Fee and leave it open till after exams for it is obvious that our parents' salaries have not been paid. *Remit all union due in the school treasury to the Student Union Government account with immediate effect. *Give contribution to the Student Union from the TET- Fund both materially and project wise. The Harmattan semester Examination of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso initially scheduled to start on Monday the 13th of July, 2015 has been postponed till further notice,This is in line with the resolution of the meeting of the school's branch of ASUU( Academic Staff Union of Universities) on Friday for a total strike action which commenced immediately after the meeting over unpaid salaries of the staff of the university which is a joint responsibility of oyo and osun state government for the past few months




also the freshers examination have been also been interrupted due to he strike action

earlier before now lectures halls have been filledwith students in preparation for the examination

Jst dis morning @ about 11:30am, At d SUB, d speaker, the Cj n d SUG PRESIDENT all addressed LADOKITES who converged there. They made it clear to d students d reason why ASUU have decided to go on dis indefinite strike. Finally, it has been concluded dat (1) we LADOKITES shud go in a peaceful protest to block both federal n gov roads in other to get d attention of d press (2) we will all go to soun palace to lay our plights.
