why not go through an elderly person in the family that your mother really have honour for

have you tried speaking to your mother personally on why she doesn't want the man..
why not try and sit her down.
hear her out and defend yourself to every point she made....
try and make her reason from your own perspective. ..
perhaps you can go through any of your siblings or a close relative your mum can hear from...and explain to such individual....

you may need to give her space and yet place her under a watch for her to get over the shock of the experience....

Start with Basic Programming....... Depending on what you hope to achieve

If you hope to be a web developer

Take baby steps in this particular order

1. Learn HTML5
2. Learn CSS3
Proceed to Learn CSS Framework (I recommend BOOTSTRAP)

3. Learn Javascript
Proceed to Learn JS Framework/Library (I recommend )JQUERY)

4. Learn PHP and MySQL

Proceed to Learn PHP Framework (I recommend LARAVEL)


When you have learned all these... You would have become a bad ass Web Developer

If you want good and well paid jobs

Learn any of the following and be VERY GOOD

1. JAVA
2. C# and/or its siblings
3. ORACLE RDBMS
etc

Heres a headstart to learning any programming language (esp if you are new to it)

Tips:

Just as every language we speak is made of several parts of speech so also is any computer programming language..

for example... english has 8 parts of speech ... comp prog langs have theirs too... (i didnt study computer science so i dont know them by name but i use them in every application i build)....


if i asked you to write an essay on drivers and passengers.... you would definitely use words which belong to any of the 8 parts of speech in english... if i told you to write the same essay/novel using a computer lang... u would build an UBER app

see... its simple .... its the same thing like like learning a new language like german when you are in germany..... but computers understand only their languages(this is a white lie) not english, not french not anythg else....

if you have any trouble any time... do mention me..












If i have time enough... I might write an ebook and create a video tutorial
