Federal govt not the military. This clearly shows a transaction was done to secure the release of these students. It is well. |

@hunee @Africankel Please I need your help gurus. Last year, I applied for France visa (Schengen) Short Stay (90 days) visa for a birthday function I was invited to but I was given a 1-month visa in return. I plan to apply again this year as I plan to spend some weeks in France by January next year. Do I qualify to apply for 90 days or more (Long stay) or do you advise I stick to Short stay again? What are my chances cuz I really wish to apply for a longer stay with multiple entries. Please advise. Thanks in anticipation. |
Can anyone notify this forum when they receive their Confirmation Email? Seems it's a general issue for everyone. |
Cyberknight:Many thanks Cyberknight. I think I have something in this regard. Appreciate! |
giselle237: Many thanks Giselle. I was just worried they may be asking for letter of consent from the supposed mother or family picture. I also want to believe that declaring he was born through surrogacy wont raise any concerns, after-all, it's legal here and even there in the UK. |
jmoore: If he's your son, method of birth is insignificant. Just a birth certificate is enough. Many thanks, he is my son. He is only 1 year old. Appreciate! |
@Cashmadam and #gisele Please I need your input. I am a frequent traveler, been to the UK few times and recently just got my UK visa renewed (Last week actually). I have a son through surrogacy and plan on taking him along with me for my Mummy's 85th birthday in August as there is no one I can trust him with here in Nigeria. Considering he was born through surrogacy, what do I need to provide and take note of while submitting the application? Thanks in anticipation. |
Not sure if this is the best place to drop but please indulge me. My brother is married to a German. The lady is presently in Germany and he wants to go join her over there. He has a kid already from another woman and he plans to travel with the kid. This is with the consent of the German lady (new wife). How do we go about the application? The website to submit the application? Documents required? Timeline. His chances of getting his visa application approved and that of the child. He's gainfully employed here and doing fine financially. The Pros and cons. Please guide us on the right moves to make. 🙏 |
Good day all, Please am dropping this enquiry on behalf of my brother. He intend to travel to UK later this year and the host is his Sister in-law. The sister in-law is not married yet. Question: 1. Will the Visa officer not query the application on the ground that he's traveling to visit his sister in-law without his wife? 2. Does the relationship with the host matters in UK visa application? 3. Is there anything else that I he should explain? He's gainfully employed and funds is not the problem as he will be sponsoring himself for the duration of the trip. Purpose of trip is just to have a travel experience, his time traveling out of Nigeria. Grateful for your assistance 🙏 @cashmadam and others please |
centpado:Hi, Good morning, Please am also about to get into the program but I am lost completely based on OP's reviews. Although his reviews are from years back but then, this is Nigeria where systems and processes keep deteriorating. Can you please shed more light? How much did it cost you in total to run the MBA program and the duration? Do I also need to visit any of their ICT Centres? I stay in Lagos and there seems to be one of their ICT Centres at Ogba. My email address is afolabiebenezer20484@gmail.com |

giselle237:@giselle237 Many thanks for your contribution and the from the angle you came through. I think the home ties perspective makes sense for the refusal. What would you advise we do next to avoid another refusal. This is not a japa plan honestly, it's just an honest tourism trip and we plan to be back after a week or so. I also have enough funding to cater for our trip(more than the 5k mentioned earlier). My worry is my wife's bank balance. |

Many thanks @Cashmadam |
maziemeka2024:Not following them was one of the reasons the VO gave as his/her reasons for refusing the visa. Secondly was why my wife and daughter didn't apply same time I did last December. Very anyhow people. I am also very much aware of the cost implications of following them. Many thanks for you inputs. Very much appreciated. |

Good day Gurus, I need your inputs please. My wife and daughter applied for UK tourist visa this January but was denied and we were told we cant appeal the decision. I chose to sponsor their trip with my bank statements showing (Salary account: N1,500,000 and savings account $5,000) I earn roughly 1m monthly and have my other funds from my Mother's real estate investments. Reason for Refusal: 1. Address on my bank account is not the same as my current residential address. 2. The visa officer queried why my wife and daughter didn't apply with me when I did mine last year December and why I chose not to travel with them this year since my visa is still valid. Now, I want to her to reapply and we have also updated the addresses on our bank accounts. I have also decided to say I will be following them this time around. Dilemma: My wife earns N220k a monthly but currently has only N5,503 in her account. Does her bank balance matters since I will be the one sponsoring their trip ![]() If I decide to fund her account to show some reasonable figures, hope it won't be flagged? Note: last application that was denied, she had less than N100k in her account but was not part of the reasons for refusal but my worry is that these guys can be funny at times. What do you advise please? ![]() |
