AMALA AND GBEGIRI BY AYODELE ADEOYE There was this old woman who used to sell Amala and gbegiri soup close to our house then. Because of my love for Amala and gbegiri I usually patronize her everyday, though her food was local but it was cheap and okay. One day my friend introduced me to iya ibeji, another Amala seller far from our house. This woman's Amala was indeed better than my neighbor's, hers was expensive but it was really sweet. So I stopped eating Amala and gbegiri from my neighbor, I started patronizing iya ibeji. Her Amala was so nice that people have to queue for it. One day, there was so much people on queue waiting for Amala and I was in hurry that day, because I already had a good relationship with iya ibeji and her staff I bypassed all other customers on queue and went straight to the kitchen where they were making the Amala. Friends, what I saw that day murdered my spirit. The woman turning the Amala has a big wound on her leg and flies were all over the wound, while she was using one hand to turn the Amala, she was using the other one to driveway flies from her wound. The wound looked like it was infected and it has decayed, the mucus that was coming out from the wound has the same colour with the gbegiri soup that I have been eating in iya ibeji's canteen. I stood still for 30 to 40 seconds comparing the wound and the gbegiri soup and honestly my plate fell from my hand unknown to me. From that moment I started having running stomach, my hunger and appetite disappeared to the thin air. I vomited for 3 days, I couldn't eat nor drink anything. From that day I lost my likeness for Amala and gbegiri soup and of course that was the last time I patronized iya ibeji. There are some people who don't appreciate what they have at home, they want varieties because they seemed to be tired of the gbegiri soup at home. They want to try the gbegiri soup of side chicks and side cocks because the devil deceived them that iya ibeji's Amala and gbegiri is sweeter. I wish they are privilege to see the poison behind the scene; the decayed wound, the smelling sore and the flies. Those of you who have left your spouse's Amala and gbegiri to go after varieties outside, your vomiting time is near, you will vomit until you vomit out your intestines. Return back to your spouse's Amala and gbegiri now before it is too late. Peaceful Home Is Our Concern! |

SUNDAY MARRIAGE DIGEST BY AYODELE ADEOYE If Abraham had not complied with Sarah's suggestion to have Hagar impregnated, it would have been a worse trouble for Abraham. The story would have been; It is you who don't want me to have a child! It is because you can't impregnate a woman that we are childless. Etc After Abraham obeyed her and the girl became pregnant, she was the first to cry out that the girl is disrespecting her because she's pregnant. This may not even be an outright disrespect, who does not know the difficulties and attitudinal changes that comes with pregnancy. Some women becomes violence during pregnancy, some become irritated, some become abusive, some get more angry, some shouts and nag etc. Of course Sarah was never pregnant before and may not know how it feels. She blamed her husband for Hagar's attitude. She didn't count the costs of giving her housemaid to her husband before doing it. Her desperation to have a child didn't let her think well before doing what she did. I blamed Abraham for obeying his wife to stoop low to having an affair with a house girl after God had assured him He will give him a heir through Sarah. My daddies, friends and brothers, our women are dynamic and weak emotionally. It is our responsibility to guide their emotions by the word of God instead of yielding to their pressure dictated by their fragile emotions. No matter how much you love her, don't bend the word of God to please her. The consequences will start from her and obviously affect everyone. Adam who bent God's word to please the emotional desire of his wife learnt his lesson in a hard way. I therefore encourage every man to study his wife's emotional excesses and curb it with love and prayer. Happy Sunday! Peaceful Home Is Our Concern! |
ARE YOU ACTUALLY A MAN? (Only For The Married) BY AYODELE ADEOYE Recently many marriages are falling apart because the men are not capable of satisfying their wives in bed. The unfortunate aspect of this new trend is the fact that such men don't want to find solution to their problems because of pride. But what pride do you have as a man when you cannot even perform your manly role? Another painful thing I have realized in my course of counseling couples with this challenge is that those men don't give attention to their wives when they complain. Some of these men even see their wives as being wayward and promiscuous because she demanded to be satisfied. I'm sorry I must say this, many of these women now seek for satisfaction elsewhere. Some have other guys who help them while some have resulted into continuous masturbation. Mr Pride, someone is screwing your wife because of your irresponsibility and excessive display of pride. In fact, they are doing it right on your bed. Many of these men concentrate on meeting the financial and material needs of their wives and family while they neglect bedroom need. Sir, may I announce to you that meeting those needs and neglecting her sexual needs does not really make her happy. Most women won't talk too much about sexual disssatisfaction, they either die silently or get solution elsewhere. Badly, when these women are caught in adultery, the world blame them, leaving the foolish and irresponsible man out of the equation of blame. They capitalize on his efforts to provide all her needs. She is seen as greedy, ungrateful and selfish woman. But when she cries out for sexual starvation no one listens to her. This case is worse among Christians where normal things are overspiritualized. Culture makes it odd for a woman to ask for her sexual right. Most of these women now engage the service of cucumber to do the work of a man. But if it is not a penis, it can't be the same as penis. No wonder most of these women see themselves as widows. Aren't widows better than them? What is the use of a husband if he cannot perform his mandate to his wife? I hear some of the men say "is everything about sex?". This is a language from a coward, everything is not about sex but you won't let her go do it elsewhere. You stupidly make our preaching against adultery of non effect. You pushed her into adultery because you aren't man enough. 46% of women who committed adultery would not have if they got satisfied by their husbands. Mr One Minute Man, stop disgracing us. We The Association of Men are not proud of you. You are a man but you are not like us. The original man God created is active and full of life. What went wrong? The same way God will punish you for not providing her needs, the same way he will punish you for not meeting her sexual needs. Sexuality is part of her needs sir. You are worse than an infidel if you can't satisfy her in bed. Oga, stop the embarrassment now, speak up if you have any problem. If your rod is faulty it can be repaired. It's time to wake up to your responsibility and start making madam proud. Take leave off work once a while and make up to madam. Don't let weeds take over your vineyard. Don't let another man do your work while you are still alive. Drop the pride today. Be a proud man by making her proud. Let me stop here for now. MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE SIX Men are the same everywhere. Every prison mama was moved to, there was an attempt to take advantage of her at one point or the other. Mama's beauty was irresistible. Even as a prisoner her beauty still glowed. Mama suffered many things from many prison staff as she was moved from one prison to the other. Mama became a prayer warrior and a woman of strong faith. Even as she grew old while in prison she never stopped believing her virginity will be a gift to her husband. At mama's 42nd birthday, the prison fellowship organized a small birthday party for her. In attendance were some members of PFN (Prison Fellowship of Nigeria). When mama was invited to give her birthday speech, everyone in the meeting was moved to tears. Her speech made everyone speechless. Her boldness and oratory gave everyone reason to want to listen to her again. The director of social welfare was present at the meeting where mama gave her heart lifting speech and she was really touched. She promised to come back for mama. With the permission of the prison authority mama was given an invitation to speak at a workshop organized by the department of social welfare for destitutes and ladies suffering from the trauma of rape and sexual abuse. She didn't just give a speech she also preached to her audience about the reality of God's love. Many of her audiences submitted their lives to Christ after mama's speech. Mrs Bala Hauwa became so much in love with mama and paid her a visit every week in the prison. Mama's virginity was so important to her because of a story her mother told her. The story of the three virgins who kept their virginity at all cost and against all odds. They brought pride to their village when moral decadence was at its peak in their village. Only the three of them were found to be virgins in the entire village when they needed some virgins to perform some sacrifices to avert the wrath of the gods in the land. The king of their village and the entire villagers were proud of them. They were honoured and publicly celebrated for seven days after which they were given scholarship to study abroad in any university of their choice. It was this gesture that brought the families of these girls out of obscurity to limelight. Mama was moved by this story and vowed to make her mother proud too either alive or death. Mama spent 21 years in prison instead of 25 years. As at this time her beauty had depreciated due to age and what she went through in prison. But at 43 mama was still a virgin, she kept her promise. The shame of what happened in the village that led to mama's imprisonment did not allow her to return to the village. After a year in prison, no one from her clan visited her. She lost contact with her family and the people of Adale village. Mrs Bala became the angel in mama's life journey. Mrs Bala took mama to Lagos and got her a job as a house help in General Fayemi's house. Mama couldn't get a better job for lack of education even though the prison has shapened her and she could speak fluently but she can hardly read or write. Everyone in General Fayemi's house loved mama because her lifestyle was just different - so dedicated to her work, very prayerful and full of life. In general Fayemi's house, mama met a Sergeant who had an eye on her. Sergeant Musa was one of general's boys who was newly posted to Lagos from Bauchi. Sgt Musa was a perfect gentleman that was not married even in his mid-forties. One thing led to the other and they both started seeing each other. Mama like the other time had told Sgt Musa 'NO SEX UNTIL OUR WEDDING DAY.' 'I am a Christian as well and I know fornication is a sin against God. Having a sexless relationship is a deal.' Sgt Musa assured mama. For his gentility and uprightness, mama fell in love with Sgt Musa. All the men she had met all her life had at one point or the other attempted to take advantage of her but Musa was different. Because of their age, both Sgt Musa and mama didn't have a prolonged courtship. Within three months, they began to make plans to settle down as husband and wife. Mama was about making another mistake of her life. What mistake is that? Let's see in the next episode. Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. Mama never wanted to take Sgt Musa to her village because of the story that surrounded her life journey, neither was Sgt Musa also interested in taking mama to his people because there was something he was hiding. Their lives were like two cows of the same colour finding each other. Mama didn't bother about Sgt Musa's people neither was Sgt Musa interested in mama's people. General Fayemi became the bride's father and the groom's father at the same time. Mrs Bala stood for mama as a mother. It wasn't a loud wedding. From the registry to a mini-reception at the officers mess. Few soldiers and some friends were in attendance and within two hours it was all over.Typical of the military, Sgt Musa was on duty on the night of his wedding. He did not give the army a formal notice of his wedding because he never wanted a big wedding. Another lesson I want all my sisters reading mama's story to learn is to beware of men who are wealthy but choose to have a quiet wedding. I had asked several questions why mama had to go through all that she went through in life. Why do good people suffer while bad people get a better lot in life. Mama is too nice to undergo all the suffering she went through, coupled with the fact that she is now born again. Is it a crime to be chaste? Is it a crime to want to keep your virginity for your husband? What could mama have done wrong? By 7pm on their wedding day Sgt Musa was already kitted in his army uniform getting ready for work. Mama protested mildly, I thought we should be together today being our wedding day? Haaa, Mrs Musa Funmilayo, this is military work and you will soon get used to it. Before mama could argue further her husband was gone. Of course it wasn't a big deal to mama. By the time Sgt Musa came back the following morning tiredness and fatigue was written all over him. What will you take for breakfast, mama asked her husband. He barely answered when he suddenly slept off. Life is just unfair to some people. Some are not been rewarded for being good while some get away with the evil they do. If anybody should not suffer in life, it should be mama but it was only a wish. She had wasted over two decades behind bars. She married at the age her mates had stopped given birth just because she wanted to do what was right before God and man. Other ladies who threw away their dignity for a meager price are doing well. What has mama done wrong? Mama's marriage is a definition of "from frying pan to fire". MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE FOUR Mama became a murderer while defending her virginity. No one was ready to address the attempted rape that led to the manslaughter, not even the Baale. Mama was kept in the village dungeon for seven days awaiting trial. 'Funmilayo, why did you kill Bayo?' The Baale's personal assistant asked on behalf of the council of chiefs. 'It was an accident sir, he was trying to rape me and I made an attempt to defend myself, hence he died in the process. Please sirs I'm guilty but it wasn't intentional. I wouldn't kill the man I love, a man who gave meaning to my life when everyone abandoned me. Bayo was a good man and I have no reason to kill him, it was an accident.' Mama explained before the council of chiefs. My mother was sentenced to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour. It was 20 years of bitterness and agony. Her years in prison thought her hard lessons of life. Her determination to remain a virgin until marriage had landed her into 20 years of incarceration. Life became unfair to a young lady who did what was right but the glamour of this life rather chose to smile at the bad ones. If I had allowed Bayo to take away my precious virginity that day, no one would have heard about it. Even if I reported his attempt to rape me, no one will take me serious because everyone in the village knew us together. Twenty years was like two hundred years in prison. The prison warders were not friendly. They were brutal and wicked. There was only one female prison wardere in charge of the ladies. Anytime she's not on duty the male warders took turns on the other prison inmates in exchange for one favour or the other. Two months after mama arrived the prison, Mr Bayo, the head of the prison warders set his eyes on her. Adebayo Owojola is gone, here is another Adebayo Daniel trying to continue from where Adebayo Owojola stopped. Mama was a moralist, she was never a Christian but she knew God and the redemptive power of his dear son Jesus Christ. The latter Bayo had more advantage over her as an inmate than the former Bayo. If she has to keep her virginity she knew she needed God. Mama began to pray for God's help and started attending the prison fellowship. In no time she became a strong member of the prison fellowship due to her commitment and dedication. After a year she was made the women leader of the prison fellowship. Mr Bayo did not give up his lustful desire to sleep with mama but several times mama had escaped his snares. He continued to push his ambition to fulfil his carnal desire on mama until this fateful day he had made up his mind like the late Bayo to have mama by all means. He stayed back after close of work and he had arranged with other female inmates on how he was going to humble mama. An announcement was made in the female room for all female inmates to report to the office of the head warder immediately. It was late in the night when everyone was ready to go to bed and no one expected any official call to be made at that time of the night but mama was wrong, it was well planned. In a haste, every female inmate were assembled at Mr Bayo's office. But mama was the only inmate who came in without her prison garment. Without much ado, Mr Bayo capitalised on that, 'Funmi why are you not in your uniform?' Mr Bayo queried angrily. While mama was trying to explain why she didn't report wearing her uniform, he landed her a hot slap. Did Mr Bayo succeed in taking mama's virginity that night? Let's see in the next episode.... Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE FIVE While mama was trying to recover from the dirty slap Mr Bayo gave her, he ordered other inmates to go while mama was asked to stay back. Mama and Mr Bayo were left alone in his office. He headed straight to the door, jammed it and began to force mama unto her back. Everything that happened between mama and late Bayo was recalled in a flash. It was like history will repeat itself again. Mama will never break her vow, not with a prison warder. The struggle started again like the day Bayo died. 'Sir, don't do this to me I beg you. This was exactly what brought me to the prison, don't allow history repeat itself sir. I beg you in the name of God, see me as your own daughter who wants to keep her dignity at all cost. Don't defile me sir, I have a vow not to give away my virginity to any man but my husband.' On hearing mama was still a virgin he pushed harder to have her. Then another tragedy struck again. Having succeeded in getting mama down on her back, mama gathered all her strength for a push, she pushed him away and his head landed on the iron burglary proof of his office door. He fell down and began to bled. Mr Bayo screamed in pain and all the female inmates rushed out from the room. The scene was not different from what happened on the day Bayo died. Immediately the ladies composed a song, "Funmi don kill Mr Bayo". Loudly they began to chorus it together until other male inmates heard and two other prison staff came in to meet Mr Bayo in the pool of his blood. Mama was whisked away while Mr Bayo was rushed into the prison clinic. Three hours later Mr Bayo was out of the clinic with bandages and stitches on his head, he made it. Mama was moved from Kaduna prison to Kuje prison. Additional 5 years was added to her prison term for attempted murder. Her case became more complicated because the Inspector General of Police was interested in her case. Within a year mama was moved from Kuje prison to three prisons in Nigeria. In all of mama's predicament, she held firm to her decision never to give away her virginity. Mama got closer to God notwithstanding. Why is mama's virginity more important to her than her life? Why did she gave up everything just to keep her virginity? Was it just that she wanted to keep her dignity or her desire to keep her virginity for her future husband? Who will marry mama after she's through serving her jail term. Mama was 22 when she was jailed and her first jail term was 20 years an additional 5 years. She will be 47 at the end of hee jail term. Who will marry a 47-year-old woman who has spend her prime years in prison? More revelation in the next episode.... Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE +2348036136040 ayodeledy@gmail.com STORIES SOLVING MARITAL PROBLEMS MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE ONE This story is dedicated to all mothers out there with golden hearts. As I grew up, I saw many people writing tributes about their mothers and some acclaimed their mothers as the best in the world. I will not dispute or debate their claims until they meet my mum, Mrs Funmilayo Akerele Musa. My mum hailed from Ikare Akoko in Ondo state Nigeria. She is half-literate because she dropped out of school at a tender age because her school principal wanted to have carnal knowledge of her in order to help her pay for her WAEC fees as her father was unable to pay. My mum didn't think twice before rejecting the offer. Her virginity meant a lot to her and she was willing to forgo her education just to keep it. Her suffering began in earnest when she eventually lost her dad to the cold hand of diabetes - an ailment he couldn't manage due to poverty. Its effect in the life of my mum could be likened to a village market signboard. It was always a taboo to be deflowered before marriage in their clan. Any lady found to be intact on her wedding night was rewarded handsomely for making her parents proud. However, the reverse was the case if any was found to have known a man before her wedding night, she will be made to face a public ridicule at the village square where all the village maidens will be gathered to make mockery of her. Also, her father will be made to return the bride price paid by her husband in seven folds. She will be kept in the king's cell for twenty one days without food but only water. If her husband still loves her after the twenty one days he will accept her as his wife - if not that was the end of the marriage. My mum had vowed never to give away her virginity to any man but her husband. A decision that was very difficult to hold by due to her beauty and the level of poverty in her family. Resisting sexual advances from men was the biggest challenge of her life. The mouth watering offers from men were temptations that only a strong and determined woman could resist. You must also be wondering how my mother was able to keep her virginity even after having me. That's the mystery I want to unravel in this story. I want to use my mother's story to tell the world that it is still possible to find women whose virginity meant a lot more to them than material things. The level of moral decadence in our society may be on the increase, but there are still ladies who still hold unto dignity. My mother is a virgin. Ladies who sleep around because life is difficult for them should read my mother's story. All dogs can eat faeces, but not all dogs eat faeces. Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. Watch out for episode two.... MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE TWO After my mother dropped out from school, she met Bayo, a guy who fell in love with her and was ready to do everything for her in order to have her. Bayo was a successful electrician who worked for both government parastatals and multi-national companies. He was one of the most popular guys in the village because he had what it takes to attract such popularity. He was handsome, tall, well-to-do and also came from a good family. Not too many women will turn down his offer for a relationship. In fact mama said she was shocked when he asked her out considering the numerous sophisticated ladies that flocked around him. My mother's inferiority complex did not let her accept Bayo's proposal for months. She eventually agreed to date him with a strong condition of NO SEX BEFORE MARRIAGE. Of course Bayo was from Adale village too and he knew the custom. They dated for a year and half without touching each other. No hugging, no kissing, no bodily contact etc. Bayo became a poverty alleviation agent for my mother for a year and half until Bayo's friends began to instigate him against mama. You have a beautiful girl like this and you have never tasted her before, all your investment will go down the drain if you discover she has been eaten by other men on your wedding night. By this time, my mother had become more beautiful and attractive because Bayo had polished her with money. Other ladies in the village who wanted Bayo became jealous of her and began to also plan for her downfall. Two forces worked against her, pressure from Bayo's friends to take advantage of her and jealousy from other village girls. Will my mother survive these conspiracy? Hmmmm. Tola and Mosun had planned with Taju and his friends to rape my mother. 'If you succeed, we will pay each of you N5000,' Tola and Mosun promised Taju and his friends. 'Consider it done.' Taju and his friends assured the two ladies. Tola and Mosun were secret admirers of Bayo who saw my mother as an obstacle to their dream of having Bayo. They planned and join forces together to take my mother out of their way. On the D-day they were to carry out there plan, they had laid ambush for my mother having heard she will be going to the market. Six boys together with Taju had waited for her under a banana plantation between the village square and the market road. Their informant gave an accurate information about mama's movement but like Yoruba people will say "the wall has an ear." They didn't know Fola overheard them in one of their conversations on how to carry out their plan of rape on mama. She had rushed home to inform her father about their plans and he began to monitor their movement, trailed them to the scene of the proposed atrocity. They didn't wait for too long when mama showed up. Taju as the gang leader was the one who stood on her way, 'where do you think you are going?' He harassed her. 'What sort of question is that?' Mama asked. Before she could say anything again Taju had carried her like a baby to meet his gang members at the banana plantation. She screamed but no one heard her. 'Today, the end has come to all your pride in this village, they chorused it to her.' 'What have I done to you people, leave me and let me go....' She begged but all to no avail as they went for her clothes, while they attempted to tear her clothes. Fola's father appeared like a magician, he was able to arrest three of the gang members while the others escaped. Thanks to Fola and her father who saved mama from rape. Mama escaped the plan of her enemies that day. The story just began..... Let's go to episode three... Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. MY MOTHER IS A VIRGIN A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE EPISODE THREE The matter was reported to the Baale and Taju and his gang were apprehended and dealt with squarely. Tola and Mosun were not spared as they were excommunicated from the village for two years. This strengthened the relationship between Bayo and Mama. Five weeks after mama's 21st birthday she missed her period. Young girl, you are four weeks pregnant, this was what doctor Kehinde told her after she visited the village primary health care centre. She cried all through the night, how could this happen to me? She questioned herself. How will I face the shame in this village? Who will believe me that I did it just once with Bayo? I can't face this shame and reproach, Its better take my life before everyone gets to know I'm pregnant. I will commit suicide and save myself from this embarrassment. She took the rope and walked quietly to the backyard. Tied it to the mango tree behind the house, hung the rope on her neck, as she attempted removing the chair she was standing on, she woke up. Alas! It was a dream! Mama took the dream very seriously as a warning from God. She stopped visiting Bayo again but she didn't share the dream with him. Noticing her cold attitude towards him, Bayo began to pressurize mama for sex. 'If you truly love me you have to prove it to me, after all I will be the one who will marry you?' Bayo insisted. 'What happens to our covenant Bayo? Sex is not a proof of love. If you love me, you will respect my vow and help me keep it.' Mama replied. 'Sex is not a proof of love but collecting my money is a proof of love right? As from today, it is no sex no money relationship.' Bayo told mama. Mama left him dejected that day but her strong desire not to throw away her virginity was stronger. Bayo stopped giving mama money or any assistance again. He stopped all his good plans for her and they stopped seeing for four months. On the day mama decided to go and see him to apologize so that they can get back again was a day mama will never forget in her life. Bayo was not going to take a no for an answer this time. He locked the door and thew away the key through the window. And then locked up the window and began to force mama into having sex with her. 'Bayo you can't do this to me, this is not you Bayo, what has come over you? Don't bring a curse upon yourself because of five minutes enjoyment.' Mama pleaded but Bayo was bent on taking away her virginity that evening. 'Please leave me and let me go, don't do it Bayo, I beg you in the name of God, they struggled for thirty minutes when he succeeded in taking off her clothes and pushed her to the bed and pinned her down, mama now managed to stretched out her hand for a bottle of coca cola by the bedside and hit it on Bayo's head, blood gushed out from his head and mouth. It was a bad hit that made him lose his strength and he went flat on the floor. Mama quickly put on her clothes and began screaming for help. Neighbours came around and forcefully broke the door open. They met Bayo in the cold of his blood. What did you do to him? They asked mama, I didddddd nooottttt... She stammered. He was rushed to the village health centre but unfortunately Bayo died before the the doctor came to see him. Mama was caught in the web of trouble. It was another phase of trouble for mama. Let's see what happened in the next episode... Please don't edit or remove any content from this story. Be warned. |
MY LYING HUSBAND A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE PART FIVE Two weeks became a month, Gbenga did not communicate so I decided to call him. It rang through until it cut without answer. Maybe he's still angry. I tried again and after ringing twice he picked my call. Good afternoon Gbenga, I greeted. Good afternoon Prisca, he replied with a cold voice. Are you still angry? I asked him. Should I not still be angry when my woman whom I love dearly thought I was an robber having spent so much on her? I am sorry, I apologised. It's okay, he said. Can we see tomorrow? I asked. I will be very busy in the office tomorrow and I doubt if we can see. Let's see by the weekend. How was office today, I asked him. At least I now know he works in an office from his statement. We thank God, and how has been your studies been too? How have you been coping all this while? You must be very broke now. I will send some money into your account tomorrow. Thank you, I appreciated him. After our reconciliation, my love for Gbenga became fear. I lived in fear of dating a man I know nothing about. I began to think about a story our pastor shared with us about a lady who was married to a ghost for three years. She married him without knowing anything about him. After three years, it was discovered he was a ghost. Anytime I wanted to shift my mind off Gbenga's case, that story will flashback. I began to trail him. I engaged a guy in my class to help me trail him everywhere. All I wanted him to get for me is his place of work, his residence and the name and or the contact address of any of his friends. Two weeks was gone, Dave could not bring me any tangible information about Gbenga. I paid him another money to trail him again for another week. By the end of the third week, Gbenga stopped coming around. He seemed to have gotten a hint that he's been trailed. He told me he will be traveling for a week for an official assignment to Jigawa state. He showed up again after a week with plenty stories and my trailing move was forgotten. I noticed I hadn't seen my period for sometimes now. I told Blessing about it and she advised me to run a pregnancy test. What ?, this is the first time I am missing my period and it is obvious I am pregnant. Fear of what I will tell aunty Seyi and what will happen to my education began to generate fear for me. Suppose Gbenga refuses to accept responsibility, what will happen to me? I summoned courage to run a pregnancy test and it was confirmed I was pregnant. That night I didn't sleep through out for the thought of what will happen to me next. You have to tell him, Blessing insisted. Call him now and inform him you have to see him urgently. Put your fears away and do the right thing. But how can you be having unprotected sex with a man that refused to let you know his house and his people? What were you thinking, I thought you are a smart girl? How could you Prisca? Pick this phone now and call him. She picked my phone and stretched it towards me. Call him now or I will help you call him. She snatched back the phone from me after waiting for me to dial his number but I didn't. She dialed his number and gave me back the phone. Take and tell him you want to see him urgently. I took the phone and Gbenga greeted on the other side of the phone. Hello Prisca. Other Stories By Ayodele Adeoye; 1. Married But No Sex 2. A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE PART FOUR My quest to conquer poverty never allowed me find out who Gbenga was. The expensive life he lived was enough to convince me he is rich or he came from a rich home. In all our dates he never took me to his house and I also didn't bother for sometimes. The only time I have to see Gbenga was during school hours and they are always very brief because I must not get home late beyond normal. Aunty Seyi will skin me alive. We met at eateries or hotels and sometimes in Blessing's place. He has never suggested a meeting in his house and I didn't want to look cheap by asking him to invite me to his house. His lifestyle sometimes can be confusing because he hardly repeat any car twice. I desire to know more about him but his reactions whenever I tried to query his personality made me hands off. I can't afford to lose him now. So I continue my relationship with Gbenga without knowing anything about him. As much as I tried not to offend Gbenga, my curiosity grew everyday. I wanted to know who Gbenga is. I wanted to know his father and his source of livelihood. I wanted to know his family members or at least, his close friends. My curiosity grew to worries and my worries became unhealthy agitations. I began to lose my peace over the true identity of my man. I planned to revolt if he fails to tell me all the details I need to know about him. I was ready to face whatsoever comes out from my action. How can I be dating a guy for almost one year without knowing anything about him. Even though he has been very nice to me, I will look straight to his eyes today and ask him who he is. Gbenga are you an armed robber? I asked him looking straight into his eyes. This is almost one year we have been dating and you have never told me who you are. You must have something you are hiding from me. I don't want to continue this relationship again if I don't know you. Who are you? I asked. His countenance dropped because I have never talked to him that way before. He was shocked at my boldness. But why will you ever think I am an armed robber? It means you don't trust me all this while? I am also afraid of you for suspecting me to be an armed robber. With all I have done for you, how could you imagine such evil against me? I am not sure I can continue this union too with you again if you cannot trust me. His anger was more than my own and I began to regret my action. I regretted my action because even though he was stingy he was still responsible for my upkeeps. We both parted with annoyances. For two days we didn't communicate with each other. Those two days were like my world had ended. Life without Gbenga was empty and full of pain. Maybe I should have used a better approach instead of asking him if he was an armed robber? Sincerely, I think I was rightfully wrong, I talked to myself. Assuming he didn't come back, will I lose him? Why should I allow him slip away like that? I will call him and apologise. I picked my phone but I couldn't dial his number because my mum taught us that if a man loves you, he will always come back for you. I hope I am not playing cheap because of his wealth and the things he has been doing for me? I changed my mind and two days became two weeks. Two weeks of hell! Other Stories By Ayodele Adeoye; 1. MY LYING HUSBAND A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE PART THREE After Mr Adeshina left me to my fate, I began to do anything that could fetch me money just to survive. My salary was N13,000 monthly but sometimes, I hardly can spend N1,000 for myself because of family responsibilities. It will be unfair to spend the money on myself while my family suffer back at home. At least I have food to eat here, I have roof over my head, I can change clothes from the used ones given to me by aunty Seyi. I was sending my salary home to take care of my parent and siblings. I met Gbenga in our campus a day to my birthday. A friend of mine, Blessing took me out to buy me a gown to wear for my birthday. All my clothes were used clothes inherited from aunty Seyi and none of them was good for an outing for a birthday celebrant. It was a local boutique but they have good patronage because their goods were cheap. As we were coming out from the boutique, I saw a young, nice looking guy staring at his rear mirror, looking at my direction. His car was cool. Only few girls will turn down greetings from a guy with such a nice car. Hello ladies, he greeted politely, waving his hand. My name is Olugbenga Adeniyi, he said and stretched his hand for a handshake. We both had handshake with him and he offered to drop us wherever we were going. We told him we were going to Unilag and he dropped us right in front of the university gate. We exchanged contacts and he left. Gbenga was the first to call me on my birthday. He knew through Blessing that my birthday was coming up a day after the day we met. His voice was charming and he spoke as if we had known each other longer than we knew each other. Can I come and take you out for a dinner? A dinner? I asked like it was not going to be possible. I couldn't tell him I was a house girl and there was no excuse I could give to aunty Seyi for going out for a dinner with a man. Who will do the house chores? This is my primary assignment as far as aunty Seyi is concern. My long pause kept him wondering. "Prisca are you there?", he asked when he didn't hear me say anything for a long time. I forfeited a lecture in order to have a date with Gbenga. We went out for a lunch rather than a dinner. The car he came with on my birthday was different from the car I saw him with the first day I met him. None of the cars were small cars. From my assessment, he must be a rich guy. He has not asked me out but I have accepted in my mind. If he ask me out, I won't think twice before saying yes, I told myself. Without much ado, Gbenga found his way into my heart. He replaced Mr Adeshina in my life. But as rich as I thought he was, I hardly get N1000 out of him. The way my mum trained us, we don't ask for favour even if we are dying. He kept taking advantage of me but hardly meet my needs. He was full of promises, great promises that can blow one's mind. I was carried away with his love and I was not mindful of his stinginess because I wanted to get rid of poverty in my life and family. His coming into my life is a step out of poverty, I assured myself. Part four loading..... Other Stories By Ayodele Adeoye; 1. Married But No Sex 2. Accidental Marriage 3. MY LYING HUSBAND A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE PART TWO My dad attempted suicide and he was caught on the scene and was rescued. He had written a long suicide note narrating the root of his problems and how much he loved us. Below is the content of his suicide note; My dear wife and children, I am sorry I have to take my life because I could no longer watch you suffer right in my presence. You all know how much I had tried to give you a good life but all my efforts were like that of a man who fetches water inside a basket. I have a secret I have never shared with anyone before that I will like to share with you in this note. I was not poor like this before but I was childless for the first five years of my marriage. In an attempt to have children, I visited a native doctor who checked my destiny and revealed to me that my destiny cannot hold both riches and children together. That is, if I wanted wealth, I will die childless, but if I wanted children, I will die poor. So, I chose children over wealth. I actually didn't know the poverty will be as bad as this when I chose it. It was after this consultation my wife conceived and gave birth to Prisca and Josephine. Benjamin came a year later. My wife is also hearing this secret for the first time. This is why I have been battling with survival all this while. Please forgive me, I can no long withstand your suffering anymore. Your Husband/Father. This above, is dad's suicide note. A suicide he was not successful at. We read the note while dad buried his head down for shame. We wept bitterly. That was the first day I made a vowed never to allow this poverty continue in my lineage. If this poverty did not kill me, I will kill it, I promised. This was what led me out in search of a better life in Lagos. When I left for Lagos, I knew no one but my instinct told me I will find help. I left for Lagos in a time my parent could not afford my transport from Benin to Lagos. I had to work for one week in Adolo farm to be able to raise transport fare. It was a dark moment for my family. When I got to Ojota, I had nowhere to go to so I joined a bus going to Yaba where I met a nursing mother carrying two leather bags. She dropped at Jibowu and I dropped along with her as if we were going to same direction. "Good afternoon ma, can I help you with one of your leather bag ma?," I requested. She was a bit nervous but she pretended to be okay. "Thanks", she said and handed over one of the bags to me. "Where are you going to?", she asked. "Ma, I don't have anywhere I am going to, I am a stranger in Lagos and I came to look for a greener pasture." "Please ma, can you help me?", I begged her. She looked at me strangely, stared at my small traveling bag. I could understand the questions in her mind because her face said it all. I followed her to her house that day. She treated me well and gave me a place to put up for that night. Very early in the morning, she woke me up and introduced me to her husband. Her husband was a policeman who was on night duty and just arrived that morning. He interrogated me like one criminal but I was good at answering all his questions without mincing words. I will take you somewhere tomorrow where you will be needed as a house girl, he promised after his long interrogation. I was very happy and thanked him and his wife. This was my journey to Mr Adeshina's house. The real story is about to start.... Other Stories By Ayodele Adeoye; 1. Married But No Sex 2. Accidental Marriage 3. The Married Reverend Father 4. MY LYING HUSBAND A STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE PART ONE I started dating Gbenga while I was in 200 level in the university. I came from a family characterized with abject poverty. That type of poverty that affects everyone in the family. It will be difficult for anyone who has never been poor before to understand our level of poverty. As a growing girl, there were days I didn't go out for three days just because I can't afford tissue paper for my menstruation. Sometimes, I had used pieces of clothes that got me embarrassed severally. I will never forget the day I fainted in class when I was in secondary school. I fainted because I had not eaten for two days and I was menstruating simultaneously. The embarrassment is not in the fainting but how my menstrual clothe flung out of my pant to the sight of all my classmates, guys inclusive. My father was never a lazy man but things just didn't work out for him. He attempted several businesses just to make ends meet but none gave him enough money to take care of us. He picked up several menial jobs but none could bring us out of suffering and penury. Our own poverty was like people operating under collective captivity. Like my father, my uncles too live from hands to mouth. There was no one we could run to or point at as living an average life, talk more of living in affluence. Good life, good shelter, good medicare, good education, etc were totally elusive. We only read about good lives in the pages of books and watch same on the screen of the TV. Josephine started following men at the age of thirteen but dad couldn't talk much because we were hungry and only Jo could salvage us many times on the proceeds from fornication with the men she dated. Mum tried her best to put us in the right track in life but she couldn't achieve that because she does not have what it takes to stop us from being wayward. I promised myself and my God I will never defile myself no matter the suffering, but this became difficult by the day as our condition refused to improve. Some days, I spent all the night crying on an empty stomach praying to God to change the plight of my family. Getting into the university was a rough journey for me. I had to do all I did because I didn't want the poverty in my family to continue. I vowed to be the sacrificial lamb to bring my family out of obscurity. I will do everything possible to bring out my family from this predicaments, I vowed. After securing admission for three years consecutively without getting into school, Mr Adeshina promised to sponsor my university education if I can be going out with him. Mr Adeshina is the husband of my mistress that I worked with for two years as a maid. He has done everything possible to take advantage of me but I was determined never to be defiled no matter how much I suffer. But it seemed I could no longer hold unto my promise as it seemed the only way I will ever go to the university was to succumb to his pressure. The deal was sealed between me and Mr Adeshina. He bought me a jamb form and ensured I got admission into the university of Lagos. His wife, aunty Seyi was not happy about my admission because that will alter my service at home. Aunty Seyi was not aware her husband was dating me neither was she aware her husband was responsible for my admission into the university and all the financial burdens. We played our game so well that we never created any reason for aunty Seyi to doubt us or suspect anything between us. My problem started in 200 level when Mr Adeshina got another appointment with an international NGO and he was made the country's representative to Malaysia. He left and stopped fending for my education. I will share with you the source of my family poverty in part two..... Other Stories By Ayodele Adeoye; 1. Married But No Sex 2. Accidental Marriage 3. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW A SHORT STORY BY AYODELE ADEOYE I got married to Felix on the 12th of October last year with high expectations, having dated him for six years. Most of my friends were jealous of us because our love for each other was one without doubt. My mother-in-law was all over me before I got married to Felix. She treated me like a princess and I have no fear marrying Felix. After our marriage I couldn't conceive due to STD I contacted from my husband. We treated the disease for almost four months. During this period my mother-in-law kept her eyes on my stomach anytime she sees me. Don't engage in any hard labour or stress yourself, I will be available to help you do anything you want me to do for you, my mother-in-law chorused in my ears severally. She must have thought I was pregnant. After six months she noticed I was not pregnant the day we passed the night in the family house. My period started the night we moved into the family house. Romo, you mean you're not pregnant? My mother-in-law asked with an offensive voice. What have you been doing all this while? Eating my son's food and spending his money on latest fashion? We married you to give us grandchildren and not to come here and become a parasite. Look at how fat you have become in six months and my son is getting lean by the day. This was the beginning of my troubles in my husband's house. My mother-in-law became unfriendly and hostile to me. She instigated my husband against me. My loving husband suddenly became a nag and unloving. In no time, he reduced my monthly allowance by 50%. When I asked him why he reduced my monthly allowance, he said mama said I was eating too much and that's why I cannot conceive. My heart was broken as it was obvious I was loosing the love of my husband. At this time, I became desperate to conceive to win back the heart of my husband. Felix began to spend most of his time outside. His mother became his close companion. My mother-in-law gave me an ultimatum of 3 months to be pregnant or move out of her son's house. Even though I was a Christian I began to contemplate on alternative means of getting pregnant. Temi, my childhood friend, on hearing about my predicament took me to baba Ajele, a herbalist in Ogbomosho. Baba Ajele is a spiritual specialist in childbearing matters. His conditions seems difficult to achieve so I abandoned him. I went to see prophet David Ayuba, a popular pastor in Ibadan. He is a prophet and also a herbalist. He could switch to anything you prefer. He knows the Bible so well and he is also vast in the Qur'an. He also knows herbalism and can go fetish depending on your choice. Since I am a Christian I asked him to use the Bible for me. On hearing that, he quoted Isaiah 6:1. Immediately I picked my phone and opened my mobile Bible to check what it says. "In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple" Your mother-in-law is the Uzziah of your life, she must die or else you won't have a child on earth. This and many other things were what prophet David told me. My hatred for my mother-in-law was activated on hearing this. How can my mother-in-law give me ultimatum when she's behind my predicament? Uzziah must die, I told myself. Of course I know too well that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God in pulling down of strongholds. My prayer points and prayer pattern changed. I started avoiding my mother-in-law by the recommendation of prophet David. But my three months ultimatum will elapse in two weeks. My mother-in-law must die before two weeks or I get pregnant. I intensified my prayer but nothing seem to be happening to my mother-in-law rather she was getting stronger by the day. A week later, I consulted prophet David again to intimate him on the development. We have to invite Sango this time, his sword kills faster. So, he took me to a small shrine in his backyard to conjure with the gods of Sango. Thereafter he brought out a calabash filled with clean water and asked me to call the full name of my mother-in-law three times. By the time I called her name for the third time her face appeared inside the water right inside the calabash. I have watched this severally in Nigerian movies but this time it was live with me. I became afraid and wished to back out but it was too late. He gave me some concoctions and asked me to pour on her face. As soon as I did I felt something like a drop of sand in my two eyes like that feeling which one experience when one is having Apollo on the eyes. That was the first stage of work according to prophet David. He gave me some white powder to pour around her mouth, I did and he ordered me to cover the calabash with a piece of red cloth. Go home and bring me news tomorrow he said boldly. I left and was expecting something bad to happen to my mother-in-law but nothing happened until the fourth day. As I was trying to read a tiny write up on the screen of the TV, I felt a sensation on my left eye, something similar to what I felt at the shrine. I tried to scream for help but my mouth got twisted in a jiffy. I couldn't call for help as the pain in the eye persisted and eventually jumped into the second eye. I rushed to the bathroom to wash my face and it was like fire added to the pain. By the time I got out of the bathroom, both of my eyes could no longer see. I wanted to call my husband but I couldn't see anything. I lost my voice while I was trying to shout. I began to use everything I could lay my hand on to make sounds that could attract attention. After 30 minutes of pain the security guard, Taju came in. Madam what happened? He asked but I couldn't answer him because my mouth was already twisted. He called my husband and I was rushed to the hospital immediately. My husband had spent so much on me while in the hospital. The nurse who is helping me to write this story has been pleading with me to confess to my husband what I did but I can't as I can't bear the shame and what will happen next. Please pray along with me for God's healing. My mother-in-law had forgotten the ultimatum she gave me due to my illness. I don't want to loose my marriage. What advice do have for Mrs Romo? Give a word of advice to mother-in-laws outside there. Do you think Felix did anything wrong? |
They took away Boko Haram and gave us Fulani Herdsmen They took away corruption and gave us recession and hunger. They recovered looted funds yet gave us lost of jobs and gross unemployment. They flushed out corrupt politicians and officials and replaced them with liars, propagandists and old incompetent and obsolete once. They took off petrol subsidies but gave us scarcity and exploitation. The list is endless. Unfortunately no one is staging a protest against all these unfair treatments. Where are the men and women who have loud voices in this Nation? Why are we hypocrites? Why is this government flogging us with deadly rod yet we are smiling in pain? Who will speak for the masses? This sufferings and persecutions are becoming unbearable. #I, Ayodele Adeoye condole with Benue people and other parts of the nation for the gruesome massacre of the people#

MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 7 The Return Of Sis Rose A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye After some several hours they were able to revive Bro Solo from the shock. By the following day he was strong and fully restored. Considering the distance to their base, he requested his wife be referred to another teaching hospital closer to their home for easy management and accessibility. He settled all her bills and moved his wife to the nearest teaching hospital to their home. On arrival, the new consultant insisted on repeating all the tests already conducted in the former hospital. They were really kept in suspense as the doctor refused to administer single drugs or injection but paracetamol. As Bro Solo beheld his wife in pain without been given any treatment he became sick of the whole thing. Sis Rose's mother suggested that she should be moved to a private hospital where she would be attended to properly. Despite his worries and fears, Bro Solo was still managing to muster some faith to pray to God. 'O Lord take away this reproach,' he prayed. While he was lying on the bench dosing, he got a tap from a nurse, 'sir the doctor will want to see you in his office.' He jumped up and ran to the doctors' office with fear and agitation. 'Sir, you sent for me', 'please sit down', the doctor said. 'We have conducted all the necessary tests and we have repeated each test twice to be sure of what we are seeing.' 'Sir, is there any more thing than the kidney failure and HIV?' Bro Solo ask with shaking voice. 'I am sorry to tell you that your wife's case is so pathetic beyond our comprehension.' Bro Solo hearing this slumped again. Like the other time he was rushed to the emergency ward. His BP had gone extremely high beyond normal due to shocks and fear. The next time the doctor was to reveal the contents of the results he requested more mature people to be invited. His father-in-law and his pastor were readily available. The doctor broke the news to Rose's father and the pastor precept by precept with patience. Sis Rose has no kidney failure neither was she HIV positive. After thorough investigations, it was discovered that this error came from the lab technician who conducted the test in the first hospital. He exchanged Sis Rose's tests result with another Rose. The difference in the surnames are 'A' and 'U' i.e Adeola and Adeolu. Sis Rose's undoing was using her father's name instead of her husband's name when she arrived the strange land. Obviously this error would have been avoided. The lab technician was sued for negligence and the former hospital was made to pay damages. All the treatments given to Sis Rose was actually what caused the complications for her. All she had was typhoid and malaria. After three weeks she was discharged from the hospital cleared of all sickness. Praise God! Hallelujah. The return of Sis Rose was more celebrated than her wedding, it was a holistic return. A reunion with her husband, her family, the church and with God. She confessed all her sins and her atrocities to her husband in the presence of the pastor. Her husband forgave her, her pastor prayed for her and God restored her. As at this time there was no need to worry about the family tradition again as one year of abstinence had already elapsed. Bedroom activities resumed immediately. After two months, Sis Rose became sick and was taken to the hospital. This was a good sickness, Sis Rose was 5 weeks pregnant. She was delivered of a bouncing baby boy in due time. The joy in Bro Solo could not be measured as he was told he's now a father. The devil was a loser. Their pastor later explained one of the revelations he had about how the powerful family goddess was all responsible for all of Sis Rose's attitude. The spirit of the goddess became so angry for losing Sis Rose, so she capitalized on her desperation to have sex. Bro Solo and Sis Rose have since been living together in peace and harmony. The End Of The End. What are the moral lessons you |
MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 6 The Return Of Sis Rose A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye Her issue became complicated when she discovered that she was HIV positive. The cost of kidney transplant for a HIV patient was also a nightmare. All her corporate prostitution could not fetch her enough money for her kidney transplant. She lived in fear and agony daily as her health deteriorated. 'This is the time to return home like the prodigal son to my husband, earthly father and heavenly father.' She said to herself. 'But will my husband accept me back? What would I tell my father? How do I explain my foolishness to my pastor? Would I be able to face my church members again? How do I tell my unit leader in church that I left my husband because of one day sexual denial? How do I explain to people that see me as a good Christian?' She was lost in thought. Thoughts of suicide filled her mind. 'The pain and shame will be too heavy a cross for me to carry. What is the use of a woman with damaged kidney living with HIV? Even if the kidney transplant is successful what about the HIV virus? What a useless life! To die would have been better than this. O death where are you? If you don't come for me l, I will come to you.' At about 11am on Thursday his phone rang, 'hello! Hello! Who am I on to?' Bro Solo asked his caller. 'It's me Angela, Rose's friend.' 'Oh, Angela how are you? Quite an age,' he greeted. 'Sir I have a good news and a bad news for you, which will you want me to share first, the bad news or the good news?' 'Please share the bad new first and let the good news follow, he said. Your wife is alive and reachable but'........ 'But what?' He interrupted her. She's sick and in need of a kidney donor to save her life. 'Please tell her I will donate my second kidney for her. At this time he had not known that she was also HIV positive. Immediately he arrived at the hospital and saw Sis Rose he could not but shed uncontrollable tears because of her pitiable condition. 'Why didn't you give me a chance to explain myself? Why did you leave me in this agony without knowing I did what I did to save your life? If I had slept with you that night you would have been dead by now. You didn't allow me explain the agenda of my 4 and half hours meeting with your parents and elders. 'I am sorry, I was misled. I listened to the agent of the devil in sheep's clothing. I was not wise enough to ask you. It was Bro Sam who told me few days to our wedding that you are impotent. I didn't believe him initially but your attitude on our wedding day made me believe him.' Bro Sam is Bro Solo's friend in the same unit in church. He was nursing the intension of wooing Sis Rose when Bro Solo introduced her to him as his fiancée. This secret was known after it was discovered Bro Sam had told similar lies against two other brothers in church. He was suspended from his unit for three months after his confession. 'Let's leave all these talk for now and attend to your health. Can I see the doctor?' He was led to the doctor's office to donate his kidney to save his wife. Tests were carried out on him but his kidney could not be used. 'Please sir do something to save my wife's life, she must not die.' Bro Solo begged the doctor. 'If she was not HIV positive the transplant would have been much easier.' The doctor said. HIV what? Bro Solo collapsed and was rushed to the emergency ward for attention. The suspense will soon end. Part 7 will reveal much. |
MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 5 The Return Of Sis Rose A Story Written By Ayodele Immediately after Sis Rose left her 1 day old marriage, she traveled to a far place like the prodigal son. She went to live with an old friend from her primary school days in a place where nobody would know her. She quickly changed her phone number and vowed never to contact anybody until after three years. It was a nightmare for Bro Solo all the time she was away. He was married but single. In no time he was nicknamed "A man who married for one day". Bro Solo tried all his best in search of his wife but all to no avail. The shame and pressure from his in-laws were unbearable as they pestered his life daily to produce their daughter. Some good friends and his pastor stood by him during this trying times as everyone turned on their search lights. Has she committed suicide? Has anything bad happened to her? Is she alive or dead? These and more questions were Bro Solo's daily thoughts. Sis Rose kept to her promise as she went into the world in search of sexual satisfaction anywhere and everywhere available. She could sleep with three different men within a month. Her journey from Zion to Egypt was swift - a vibrant Christian sister turned a corporate prostitute as she jumped from one man to the other irrespective of their status. She did not spare anything in trouser that crossed her path. She was like a bird let loosed from the cage. Sis Rose was fully aware of the tradition in her family because her father narrated the pros and cons of the tradition to her after she lost Magdalena, her immediate sister. She died on her wedding night after her husband made love to her. On hearing this, Sis Rose had gone to her pastor in her former church who is gifted in deliverance ministry. It was a seven days deliverance session. During this deliverance session it was revealed to the man of God the origin of the tradition. Her great great grandfather in search of wealth, power and fame had married out all his daughters born and unborn to a powerful goddess in exchange. No woman can marry and enjoy marriage except they pay him back his dowry or abstain from sex for one full year. The dowries paid on his daughters were in exchange for wealth, power and fame. Those who cannot wait for the one year must provide a virgin, 14 cow heads, 14 she goats, 21 cowries and 24 yards of white cloth for sacrifice. While conducting her deliverance, the spirit of the goddess was summoned to release Sis Rose and her marriage. The goddess had no problem if they slept with other men asides their husbands. They could sleep with any man as far as he wasn't married to them. Who does not know that Satan doesn't give free gift. No wonder the word of God says "The fathers have eaten a sour grape and the children's teeth are set on edge". Satan at his best gives you one and takes two. He gave wealth, power and fame to a father but took all the marriages of the daughters for all generations. On her second year of sexual adventure, Sis Rose became sick and was admitted into the hospital. The sickness was bad and was taking her life away. One of her kidneys was gone and only a kidney transplant could save her. Who will donate a kidney to Sis Rose in a strange land? Amongst all her numerous boyfriends, no one showed up to donate his kidney to save her life. It was at this junction she realized she had been foolish because she wanted sexual satisfaction. For the first time she called a friend to explain her ordeals and sought her help to reunite her with her family and husband. Did she reconcile with her husband? Did her husband take her back? Who donated a kidney to save her life? Find out more in part 6. |
MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 3 A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye 'Sis Rose, I didn't marry you because of sex, I married you because I love you. Love is the basis for our union and not sex. I didn't tell you all these because I love you with all my heart. Don't push me to sleep with you if you don't know the reason why I don't want to sleep with you. You must have been thinking of many things in your mind like; if I am impotent or over-spiritual. I am not impotent neither am I over-spiritual. I am a complete man and will prove that in no time if you are patient. You could remember the last time we traveled to your place for our wedding introduction and the four hours meeting I had with your parents and the elders in your clan? Did you notice I came out of the meeting moody and unhappy? You remember you asked me what was it we discussed for that long without you in the meeting? You also remember I had a 30 minutes meeting with your dad later that night?' 'Yes I remember everything you mentioned', she replied. What does that have to do with you not performing your conjugal obligation as my husband? If you are not impotent, prove it now and spare me all of these questions? I am not in court neither am I facing an elders council. The only language I understand now is Sex! Sex! Sex! And nothing but sex. When people marry, it is normal for them to be anxious to devour themselves especially if they have not done it before. What I expect you to do now is to remove my pant and bra and make me feel like a woman and not tell me stories. I didn't marry you to tell me stories, I married you so you can make me a real woman. Since you have decided to make me unhappy at my supposed honeymoon, you will never know happiness in your life. May God give you 100 fold of the pain you have caused me on the day of my joy. The scripture says, "defraud not one another" but you have defrauded me, may God pay you back all you have done to me.' Sis Rose, while in tears rained curses on her newly wedded husband. 'Sis Rose, are you cursing me? What have I done to warrant these terrible curses you just landed on me when you have not given me room to explain myself. I wish you could be patient enough to listen to me.' She interjected him, to listen to what? Who will listen to a half-man like you? Who will listen to a man who cannot make love to his wife, 24 hours after the wedding. Who will listen to an impotent man like you? Why she was naming him and renaming him with disgusting names, his phone rang. It was a call from his guests who had waited tirelessly for him. Bro Solo where are you? This is 10 minutes to 12 noon. He checked the wall clock and he remembered if his guests stay in the hotel beyond 12 that means a full payment for a day. He picked his bunch of keys and rushed out without seeking his wife's consent anymore. By the time he got to the hotel it was 16 minutes past 12. 'You are welcome sir the hotel clerk greeted him with a scheduled bill of N85,000 for his guests for another day. But I am here to check them out, I am sorry for coming late. As you can see I just wedded and have lots to attend to. Please cancel the bill because they are not staying any further.' 'I am sorry that is not possible sir, it's a policy we don't have control over. Even if they are not going to stay further you have to pay for exceeding the stipulated time of 12 noon.' ' O my God, this is not fair' he protested! 'But we told you before they checked in. We also stated it clearly in our guest handbook.' He rushed back to the house to pick from the money people sprayed them at their wedding reception. He got home and found the door slightly jammed. He rushed in and went for the money bag but it was not there again. 'Where are you dear?' No response! 'Sis Rose, where are you? Where is the money bag we kept here?' The absolute silence caused him to look round the house just to see a note on his bed. "This is to tell you I have gone for good. I cannot live with a chameleon and an impotent man like you. Don't look for me until you find solution to your impotence. I have carried my box and the money they sprayed us at the wedding. While you continue your prayer meeting, I am going to sleep with any man who is willing to make me feel like a woman. God bless you Mr prayer warrior". Rose. Are you still guessing? Part 4 is on the way. |
MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 2 A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye 'Would I supervise your spiritual life and also supervise your sexual life? Sexuality in marriage does not contaminate spirituality. Bro Solo why have you not touched your wife? I am your pastor and I have been sleeping with my wife for more than 20 years now. Prayer cannot replace sex in marriage. You are now married and licensed to have sex. Making love to your wife is no more a sin.' 'I know it is possible you are a virgin but today virginity is no longer profitable. If you don't know how to do it, I am here to teach you. You can ask me any question on sex. Sis Rose is now yours and by my authority, her parents authority and the authority of heaven you can kiss her, romance her and sleep with her as many times as is convenient for both of you. The way you rush your first meal after a long chain fasting is the same way I expect you to rush your wife. If there's any issue, you can confide in me.' 'Thank you daddy, we shall do the needful as you have counselled', Bro Solo said. After seeing the Pastor off to the other side of the road where his car was parked, the Pastor turned to the couple and said, 'Sis Rose ensure you call me later to let me know how everything goes. Bye! Bye!' When they arrived back at their apartment, Bro Solo begged his wife to let him sort out and discharge all their guests so they could have uninterrupted time together. 'Let's do a quick one before you go, when you come back we can relax and have a nice time together. 'Why are you in hurry to have sex Sis Rose, sorry dear? How long will it take me to sort out our guests that you can't wait? Where is the self-control they've been teaching us about in church? Are we married because of sex or to fulfill God's purpose for our lives? This is almost 24 hours we have been married, we have not discussed or done anything reasonable than sex. Must we have sex immediately after our wedding? Will the sex run away if we don't do it today? Why are you so particular about sex over other things that can add value to our lives and marriage. If we don't do it today, we can do it tomorrow.' Sis Rose became worried and highly agitated at this time. Is there anything he is hiding from me? She thought! This is a lacuna of God's law. *"Marriage is honourable in all, and bed undefiled".* She questioned the law of God with hundreds of questions. I have kept the bed undefiled all these years, would I still stay away from the bed after marriage? Even if he is not going to make love to me, why won't he kiss me, hug me, caress me or even give peck. I want to feel like a woman but my man is a shadow of a real man. I will not allow him go out today, the neighbours must hears us. I am going to make noise about this until third parties come to my rescue. This is no more spirituality but stupidity. 'Bro Solo, you are going nowhere until you perform your marital duty on your wife. No sex no going out today. If you step outside there, by the time you come back you won't meet me in this house again. You can't be more spiritual than the pastor, you can't be more catholic than the pope.' 'Sis Rose this is the work of the devil and we must not permit it. My spirit tells me the devil wants to capitalize on this small issue to cause problems at beginning of our marriage. We must not allow our guests to spend one more night in that hotel or else our bill will be heavy. Please let me go and settle them and I shall give you what you want. 'You will have to choose between your guests and your wife today,' Sis Rose replied him. All the stories I have heard from my married friends on their first night are fantastic. This is a day I have patiently waited for. Why is mine like this? And tears rolled from her eyes down her cheeks. 'Sis Rose, are you crying? Why are you crying? Okay, sit down let me tell you why I have not touched you since yesterday...' Are you still sure you can guess right? Wait until you read part 3. Your guess maybe right. |
MARRIED BUT NO SEX - Part 1 A Story Written By Ayodele Adeoye She came in to the bedroom with her transparent night gown wearing a romantic perfume. Nobody was left at the house after a long day of felicitations and congratulations for the success of their wedding. Who would have thought Sis Rose could get married after several attempts failed at the altar of disappointment and betrayal. Sis Rose had been into 8 relationships that never led to marriage. Getting suitors was never her problem but getting to the aisle was never realistic until she met Bro Solo. Bro Solo was a well-known brother in the choir and the dream husband of every lady as he seemed to be an example of a true Christian. Bro Femi dated her for 18 months and jilted her because she refused him sex before marriage. Bro Ifeanyi left her after a year of relationship when he went for National Youth Service Corps at Enugu where he found Sis Chinyere. Bro Austin never gave any reason for quitting their relationship of 4 months. The history of Sis Rose's relationship journey was heartbreaking as she had dated 8 guys in 14 years. 'Bro Solo is going to leave like others, why put in the remaining pieces of my heart?', she thought. On her traditional wedding, she fainted twice for unbelief and shock that Bro Solo did not leave like other brothers. It was a well-celebrated and well-attended wedding. Members of the choir and ushering team added colour to the day as one of their own were the celebrants of the day. The joy and excitement that Sis Rose was leaving singles fellowship of the church at 43 made the pastor overjoyed, so much that he made Sis Rose's wedding one of the best since the inception of the church. Family and friends were not left out as they all created scenes to add colour to the day. Family and friends stayed back and never wanted to leave them alone even at the late hour of the night. Sis Rose had jokingly told her friends to leave to allow them start their honeymoon and everyone laughed. 'Madam are you driving us?' And they laughed again. In all these Bro Solo was indifferent as to whether they left or not. At about 11:03pm, she joined him in the bedroom ready for action of the moon. This is the day she has been looking forward to; a day she wanted to be grabbed, squeezed, cuddled and made love to. A day she will have sex and not see it as sin against God. 'Dear, I am all yours now. Do to me what wish. I am not wearing anything underneath just to give you easy access.' 'Before we are carried away with the joy of our wedding let's thank God first for all his has done for us', Bro Solo replied. And the prayer of thanksgiving turned to intercessory prayers and then to warfare prayers. After 40 minutes Bro Solo was still praying. A prayer that was already getting Sis Rose pissed up. How can we turn our honeymoon to a prayer meeting? She thought within herself. She couldn't stop the prayer meeting because the tempo of the prayers increased by the minute. At about 12:29am she dosed off and went into a deep sleep. That night they missed the first flight! Before Sis Rose could wake up by 6:30am, Bro Solo was already dressed up to meet an appointment for 7am in order to secure bus ticket for some of their guests who were slated to go with the first bus. 'Where are you going to this early that you are already dressed up?' she quarreled her husband. 'But we didn't make love last night being our first night together. Before you go out this morning, you must make love to me.' Dear, I am sorry that cannot happen now as I need to meet up for this appointment by 7am. I will make it up to you when I come back. Sis Rose was not going to take no for an answer that morning. She jammed the door and held the keys "You are not going out this morning until you make love to me"! She called the pastor, "Hello sir, you need to make to our house now or else...." The pastor quickly diverted from his way to his office to their house. 'What could warrant this distress call from the newest couple?' he thought within himself. Why do you think Bro Solo is not sleeping with his wife? Find out in part 2 |
THE 6 SIGNIFICANT Ps OF JOSEPH'S LIFE By Ayodele Adeoye 1. PAPA'S HOUSE - HONEYMOON TIME. There are times in every man's life that things seem rosy. Times when you get clothes of many colours on a platter of gold. Joseph in his father's house enjoyed everything with little or no stress. This is the best time to discover your life dream, a time to define your identity and destiny. 2. PIT - TIME OF TRIAL There is no amount of prayer, sacrifice or wisdom can exempt a man from trying times. The gravity and duration of our trying times may differ but everyone at a time must be in the pit of life. A situation where you seek help and find yourself at the mercy of others. Joseph was helpless in the PIT and was at the mercy of his brothers. 3. PORTIPHA'S HOUSE - A TIME OF REALITY In Portipha's house honeymoon was over, no more clothes of many colours. This is the time every man gets to face the reality of life. A time you are faced with options of life; time to either accept quick short-term benefits or to wait and wear the crown. It is time to choose between sex and glory, pleasure and crown etc. 4. PRISON - TIME OF PREPARATION TO REST This is the time you are required in life to prove yourself. A time to carry your cross and carry that of others as well. A time when you need to help others while you are helpless. Many people fail at this junction because of the weight of their cross. 5. PALACE - INTRODUCTION TO REST This is a time of remembrance for sacrifices, hard work, dedication and steadfastness. Most people don't get to this stage in life. This is because they get carried away in the arms of Mrs Portipha, where people go for temporary enjoyment in place of temporary suffering that will have brought lasting joy. 6. PRIME MINISTER - TIME OF FULFILLMENT AND ATTAINMENT Many people who got to this stage in life use their blessings and position to seek vengeance and get back at their supposed enemies. This would have been the right time for Joseph to get back at his brothers who sold him to slavery and Mrs Portipha who masterminded his imprisonment. The crown most times makes you forget the hurt of the past. May God give you a future that will make you forget the hurts of the past. THE JUNGLE CALLED NIGERIA Written By Ayodele Adeoye It's ironical that a nation blessed and endowed with natural and human resources by God is in gross obscurity. A nation where power and resources are monopolized by a cabal of wicked and selfish folks. A nation where leadership are recycled among worn out intellectual liabilities. Who is holding Nigeria ransom? Is Nigeria a true federal state or a marriage between the lion and the rat? What have we done wrong? Why do we have to tie the destiny of the whole nation around one man? A nation sick of palsy with symptoms of epileptic power, chronic corruption, tribalism, nepotism, religious bigotry, hate, crisis, killings etc. Our ancestors told us 3 to 4 decades back that we are the leaders of tomorrow, the same ancestors are still the once leading us today. Who will snatch our dear nation from the hands of these power drunk cabals? We don't know who is our pilot; whether the man at home or the man away. We hear the voice of Jacob but we see the hand of Esau. Who is telling us lies, who is not telling us the truth, who will tell us the true state of our man? The man whom we thought was the Messiah to come; a man who cannot save himself. How did we get here? Who deceived us? Who cajoled us into this? Who brought us into this unprepared jungle marriage? A nation where the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. A nation where hunger had silenced the masses. A jungle where the rich ride on the back of the poor like the horse. A jungle where the rich buy justice against the poor. O God, is this the Messiah or we should expect another? Who will show us to the Messiah? Our children are dying of hunger, frustration, sickness, ignorance, anger etc. Who is telling our man he is doing a good job? A good job should end hunger, unemployment, killing etc. Our leaders must understand that we don't understand political and economic ambiguity; we only understand constant power, food on our table, money in our pocket/account, drugs in our hospitals, good employment, good roads etc. A man who is well fed does not agitate for succession. A man who is independent does not seek independent. Every man wants to stay in a place where he is loved and appreciated. If the marriage is sweet and romantic, even the foolish won't want to quit. Nigeria needs to be born again! Nigeria needs mercy! Nigeria needs leaders from God! Nigeria needs a Joshua who will lead us to our promised land! This suffering is unbearable! Who will go for us? Who is the Esther of our time? |

ABUSE OF FAITH I have seen a lot of Christians who do a lot of funny things today in the name of faith. I have seen faith without work; faith without wisdom; faith outside the word of God; faith in sin; faith without knowledge etc. I have seen a man who gave birth to 9 children with a salary that is less than N10,000 claiming that, 'I know God who gave me the children will provide for their needs.' A man who refused to do family planning and yet won't bring his libido under subjection. No one can mock God. It's the height of foolishness to give birth to children you can't cater for. It is a different thing if something happens to your source of income after giving birth to them. I have seen Christians who refuse to take drugs or seek medical help on ailments that are curable medically in the name of faith, which eventually killed them, but could have been avoided with just a simple treatment. This is more like suicide. I have seen Christian men who married without jobs. God in his divine wisdom provided a job for Adam before giving him a wife. Genesis 2:15, "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." Genesis 2:18, "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." I have seen Christian students who wants to pass their exams without studying. As much as praying and other spiritual activities are good, they can never replace studying. John 5:17, "But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." No amount of prayer will replace work because faith without work is dead. I have also seen Christians who prefer to drink anointing oil instead of obeying God's instructions. It doesn't matter how many it has worked for; it is not scriptural to drink anointing oil. Today it's a doctrine to drink anointing oil. What an error! It is wrong to tempt God. Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, "It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God." You don't need to deliberately eat poison to prove that God is able to deliver His own. He will surely deliver you if you eat poison unknowingly or accidentally. Faith in foolishness is another wrong move; this applies to Christians who practically behave foolish, thinking it's faith. Many have refused to start small because they're trusting God for a big deal. Roaming the streets looking for a big job despising little start point. This is known as laziness and not faith. The worst I have seen is faith been exercised in sin and unrighteousness. Who do they think God is? Psalms 7:11, "God is an honest judge. He is angry with the wicked every day." Exercising Faith by a sinner which is unto repentance is no doubt regarded by God. Faith can never be used to bribe God. Faith is not foolishness Faith without work is dead Faith has principles Faith must be in line with God's word Faith is result-oriented AYODELE ADEOYE |
BBNaiaja (BIG BROTHER NAIJA) IS EVIL AND DEMONIC The highly talked about BBNaija is an attempt to corrupt and pollute our generation. A program that promotes nudity, porn, immortality and lust has nothing good to achieve. We must stop this evil or else it will snatch away our supposed tomorrow's leaders from us. If we keep quiet then we are putting the future of our children into jeopardy. What are the intentions of the organisers and sponsors of this evil program? What do they intend to achieve? What have they achieved? I don't expect any good parent, good Christian, good Muslim to allow their children to be a housemate in the ongoing bbnaija. It is totally not in conformity with our morals, values and beliefs. We must join our voices together to condemn this program, we must stop watching it, we must stop our children from watching it, we must stop promoting it, we must stop our children from participating in the program. I am ready to be alone on this issue but it's better to be alone with the truth than stand with the crowd for lies. I Ayodele Adeoye say NO to BBN, it's evil, its demonic, it's satanic, it's barbaric and condemnable. AYODELE ADEOYE |
