if they do it like that of last year,you don't need any acct no.,you'll just walk into any of the designated banks and tell them you're there to pay into ui's account. But just chill,guess the portal is still worked on.

the pin needs verification by the portal!! the pin cannot be awarded by the bank..

the pin is gotten from the bank and then verified by the portal!!.

You aren't supposed to pay first until you get a room,but as freshers,you will all get rooms,(if a stalite go try am?..)..so it doesn't mean if you've paid or not,best explanation i can think of is the portal is still being worked on.
