I think you may need to understand what the person is saying to not misconstrue the whole thing.

Before now, already married people initially put their spouse as unaccompanying because of the low CRS scores that comes including a partner as accompanying.

These set of people would then later change the partner to accompanying after eligibility has been passed or after getting PPR or COPR stamped.

IRCC noticed how these people have been cheating the system and have been stricter since late 2024.

So what IRCC do now is, if you change your initially unaccompanying partner to accompanying and you change this before you land, they will recalculate your scores.

If your recalculated score falls below the cutoff score when you originally got ITA, your ITA and entire application will be thrown out.

This doesn't affect anyone who still falls above the cut off, this doesn't affect anyone trying to add a new born or newly wed couples.

So, generally, if you initially add a partner as unaccompanying, be sure to check your recalculated scores multiple times before sending that webform.

If you aren't sure, just land and use the spousal sponsorship route. This is why they were trying to tell you that it is no longer a good advise in 2025.

And of course, if you and your partner are already in Canada on Study visa and SOWP, you can definitely no longer use the unaccompanying style, it will be thrown out immediately. Something they used to do well before now.

Primary or not doesn't matter, one would still be invited as long as it is 6 months minimum in the last 3 years. It doesn't have to be the primary one.

Just count the number of allowances you've received, you will collect for 12months in total. That will help you know if you should still expect or not.

Don't fret, it's a small issue.

What you need to do is to get an affidavit from a court stating that you want an adjustment to the name on your BVN, attach a valid form of identification and take it to the bank you enrolled for BVN at.

Note : the bank you enrolled for BVN.

it doesn't stop your allowee, you just won't be able to access the money in the account till the BVN issue is resolved.

An MSc was also a thought line he didn't discard, in fact he thought all through the holidays how an overseas scholarship will be of massive help to him in his quest for a second degree.

Just google samples/templates of the particular type of Affidavit you'll like to do. if you have anyone that studied law around you then it's all easier and better. Affidavits can be dicey so Make sure an expert sees it before it gets stamped so you don't eventually wastes money on stamping.

Lagos state will not pay her but the school itself are under normal circumstances supposed to pay her.
