Many premium cars like Banz, BMW ,Audi etc premium fuel is RECOMMENDED not REQUIRED. RECOMMENDED means for more power the manufacturer says is 93 but you can use 87. You just lose maybe 20hp, which is not material in a 240hp car.

It's maybe the Bugatti, RR, Lamborghini.etc real performance cars where it's REQUIRED, which means manufacturer expects 93 at all times. And how many of those do we really have in Nigeria .

It is indeed recommended for some cars but it is required for some too.
But from my own personal experience over 20 years of bringing high end cars to Nigeria, I have never experienced any reduction in power oo problems due to using inferior petrol in Nigeria.

If it's not premium, where do people driving high end cars in Nigeria get their own fuel from?
I have always driven high end cars that required high Octane of at least 93 in Nigeria and I always buy my fuel from the same filling stations like every other Nigerians.

Here in the US, if you drive high end cars, you have to choose Octane 93 petrol which cost more or else your car will break down.
Go and verify.
People driving RR, Rangers Rover, Mercedes and other high end cars in Nigeria are using the same petrol in Nigeria.
That's not the case here in the US.

If you use that 2 70 petrol in your RR or Mercedes, it will break down.
