JFk won the majority votes and the electoral college.

The issue was that those votes were not totally punched for Al Gore. At that time, they were still using punch cards that were punched with a pin.

That election is one of the reasons why most states changed to in person electronic voting like we have in GA.
Even with that, voters are still prevented from voting.
During the Governorship election in GA between Abraham and Kemp, they Iocked up many voting machines in black districts hence many were not able to vote.
Kemp was in Charge of the election as the commissioner for commerce at that time and he was also a candidate in an election in which he was also the supervisor.
Can that even happen in Nigeria as bad as we think Nigerian system is?

Tinubu has made decisions that most politicians will not make simply because they are more concerned about winning relection than doing what it right.
Tinubu could have just continued with the previous policies on fuel and currency but he decided to take the long hard road to real economy development.
In the long run, Nigeria will be better.
Tinubu has .ade some poor decisions regarding traveling, buy expensive jets and so on while asking the people to bear with the current economy hardship. But overall, he still better than other potential candidates.

Secondly, they will also try ad much as possible to dispute any vote that they know is not for their own candidates during counting.
There are many other tactics that are used to discouraged voting by certain sections of society. In fact recently, we have whites hanging around polling unit with guns claiming that they are looking for illegal voters.
I still remember the hanging Chad situation in Florida between Al Gore and G Bush. Thousands of voted were discarded to allow Bush to win.
