Role Description

This is a temporary remote role for a Social Media Manager at AfroXeno. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing social media marketing campaigns, developing and implementing a content strategy, optimizing social media channels, writing compelling copy, and maintaining consistent communication with the audience.


Qualifications

Social Media Marketing and Optimization (SMO) skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Content Strategy skills
Experience in Communication and Marketing
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience with social media platforms and social media management tools
Experience in the black community or affinity for black culture is a plus
Designing and creating engaging graphics and visual content for various social media platforms using Canva.
Planning, executing, and monitoring social media strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
Analyzing social media metrics to identify trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Generating innovative ideas for content and campaigns to drive traffic and conversation.
Engaging with the community on social media platforms to foster a positive relationship with the audience.
