TV/MoviesAfromelotique Standardize Nigerian Music Online by ayorex(op): 5:56pm On May 28, 2007
It's 5:30pm here. I am a little bit tired and will need to refresh myself. I picked up a bottle of Fanta and surf the net for a webTV to watch some music online (especially Naija music). Quite interesting I came accross this site www.afromelotique.com. Most Nigerians may not know about this site but I was overwelmed with the quality of Video coming from AMTV--AfroMelotique TV. My findings prove that AfroMelotique is owned by a Nigerian.I will like to know the brain behind this project. Any forum member with an idea?, please let us know. I will like to provide some support!  Instead of running to "youtube" myspace etc, we can all support this project

RomancePastor And In The Right Place At The Wrong Time by ayorex(op): 8:57am On May 03, 2007
A new pastor was visiting in the homes of his Congregation. At one house it seemed obvious that someone was at home, but no answer came to his repeated knocks at the door. Therefore, he took out a business card and wrote "Revelation 3:20" on the back of it and stuck it in the door. When the offering was processed the following Sunday, he found that his card had been returned. Added to it was this cryptic message, "Genesis 3:10." Reaching for his Bible to check out the citation, he broke up in gales of laughter. Revelation 3:20 begins "Behold, I stand at the door and knock." Genesis 3:10 reads, "I heard your voice in the garden and I was afraid for I was naked." Remember when the funniest jokes were the clean ones? They still are! "A cheerful heart is good medicine" (proverb. 17:22).

Jobs/VacanciesRe: An Insight On Cover Letters by ayorex(m): 12:43pm On Apr 30, 2007
A cover leter (sometimes called "introduction letter"wink is the first thing a potential employer will see when going through your application. It is your fist chance to make a good impression. when you are conducting a job search, an effective cover letter with your resume leaves positive impression with an employer, this distinguish you from other candidates.

A cover letter should be in a page;
* It should introduce you to your prospective employer
* Tell the employer the position you are applying for
* Prompt the employer to contact you for an interview
* Tell the employer why you are the best available

SAMPLE

Dear Sir,

I am Lagbaja Dibia, a graduate of computer science department, Nairaland University, Ibadan, Lagos State.
I wish to apply for the post of a web application developer in your organisation.
I have attached a copy of my resume. Should my qualification interest you, I am ready to attend an interview with you at your earliset convenience.

Kind Regards,

Lagbaja Dibia

Advise
Let your cover leter refer the employer to your CV/Resume. Your age and other biodata are in your resume.
Check before sending to avoid spelling error.

See you at the board room later in the future.
CelebritiesRe: Genevieve Nnaji Is Getting Married To The Son Of The Vice President Of Ghana? by ayorex(m): 6:08pm On Apr 27, 2007
I can see some element of jealousy here. You guys should encourage Genie rather than cricizing her relationship  with ehn, who do you call it? , Ghana's Vice president or his son. I will say congrats to her if this is true, but let her remember to establish a shoe manufacturing company in Nigeria after the marriage in case Ghana economy falls, more shoe makers can be employ there.

This is like a lesson for all of us.  Making friend online is not a bad idea, its like having a penpal in those days. But it will be so stupid of anybody to jump into a vehicle and travel to meet someone you've not met before and spend the night. , lets advise our dear friend to "shine her eye wella next time"

EducationRe: Help Projecct Topic For Computer Science by ayorex(m): 10:46am On Apr 27, 2007
The greatest crime in life is not believing in yourself. The truth is that if someone give you a topic now, you will end up begging or paying someone to help you write the project and later the code. I will advise you pay the price at this stage by picking a topic and research on it by yourself. You may contact one or two people for assistance, no probs! Be at the peak of the project. You will enjoy it later in the future. All the best man.
