Feb 6, 2024 - We got an email from IRCC requesting for additional documents.
Feb 14, 2024 - Documents submitted
Another phase of silence again 🤧🤧
June 5, 2024 - BIL
June 6, 2024 - Biometrics given (completed on GCKEY same day)
SA - ??
At this point I expected that Medical request will come shortly after, but IRCC said “dey play” 😆
Requested GCMS note sometime in August
Sept 20, 2024 - Medical request
Sept 24, 2024 - Medical given
Sept 27, 2024- Medical passed
Sept 30, 2024 - Final decision (GCKEY)
Oct 2, 2024 - PPR!!!

You can order the gcms note urself if you know ur UCI number.

This is actually for gcms notes via CBSA

- Go to Google, search ATIP
- Pick the first option from the list of results
- when the page opens, click on next
- click/mark the privacy box and click continue
- on the next page, select Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down
- from the next drop-down, select foreign national outside of Canada
- fill out your required information in the boxes below
(Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls)
- Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so
- pick member of the public for the category that best describes you
- Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records
- click continue
- on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down
- select English in the next drop-down
- select case files for the type of records
- fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX)
- in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg:
Hello/Hi
My name is SURNAME, First Second. I have applied for a visit visa, my UCI is ...... and my application number is ......, DOB. I would like to have the notes for my file
- then click continue
- also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here)
- you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info
- check the I certify box and click continue
- you should receive a confirmation email from CBSA

Good afternoon house. Pls is there anyone who recently applied for Spousal visit visa?? Is IRCC really processing it quickly like they claim?

Good day house. Pls I have a bit of an issue, I submitted my TRV application last week and till now it hasn’t showed on the tracker but it shows on the CIC portal. Is there something I can do about it? Also, biometrics hasn’t updated to “complete” yet but it shows the biometrics number from my ongoing Spousal PR sponsorship application. Is there a need to be worried?
Also, how long does Spousal TRV take to process these days? Thanks in advance.

Sent mail twice to MP - first in Feb, received reply that processing timeline elapses by June 26th 2024, follow up mail sent June 26th. Never received a reply till this moment but approval came in early hours of today.
Applicant travel history - none, rejected Canada TRV 2023.

All still waiting will receive their good news.

Sharing this to encourage someone, that good news that you are expecting, will drop soon.

Application submission - June 1st, PPR - June 17
Submission of passport in person - June 19 and Passport pick-up by self - June 2.

Previous Canadian visa expired this June, current US visa amongst others. Submitted biometrics 2022 but had to pay transmission fee again.

Every Information you need, for all situations, is available on this forum, delibrately read as many pages as possible and very important, i involved God in this undertaken.

I was concerned about speed.

For my mum, biometrics done last Thursday 7th and Yesterday 13th (5 working days) the tracking shows decision made and that we should come pick up passport tomorrow 15th.

It’s APPROVAL guys!!
We applied for Standard visitor’s visa for my MIL on Feb 26th
Biometrics was March 5th
Today we received her passport back.
She has been granted 6months visa.🎉🎉

6 whole months, omo!!! It is well. I applied in October as well, still awaiting PPR.

IRCC requested for my medical on the 24th February. I uploaded it and today it shows updated (Medical exam passed).
Eligible and background check is still on process.

Pls is the medicals for TRV or PR? Never heard of IRCC requesting medicals for TRV.
