jamalee: Good evening my people. Here's today's idea. Today's idea will base mobile application development. The mobile app industry is booming and Nigeria is not behind. Infact, the mobile app industry worth several billions of dollars anually. 2go, whasapp, mxit, palm chat, etc all worth billions of dollars anually. And these Entrepreneurs that own these mobile app have little or no education. This means that you don't need any qualification to become a mobile app Develop except the knowledge of programming. Even if you don't have this knowledge, you can hire a Professional Programmer to do it for you; it all boils down to money. Come up with a unique idea and tell the Programmer you hired about your idea and give him your sketch of your idea: I mean how the mobile app is going to look like, its functions, how it will operate, etc. Let your Programmer sign a DNA Form with you so that he won't steal your idea. If you are on a good budget, you can hire a Lawyer. The mobile app idea I thought of is free calls and SMS app. You know that Nigerians love to get things for free; no matter how that thing come cheap, they will still like to get it for free. This mobile app will be welcomed by Nigerians since millions of calls and SMS messages are exchanged within the Country everyday. Calls and SMS messages will be made via the internet (the mobile app) at no cost except for internet data, which Telecomm Operators give out for free. The internet data on your sim card will be deducted instead of your money/credit. I am sure that this mobile app will storm Nigerian market in the first few months of its launched. There are series of ideas in the mobile app industry, any time I think of any idea, I will let you know. Good night....my fear on these is that anything you want to do first make it recognise officially... Nigerians love to steal others ideas without given credit or appropriate retribution.. if it is Invention or noble creativity, first make sure you patent it before beginning.. if not,I fear for u.... |
bappahman: ppl will keep doubting it, but imagine if the plane belonged to Buhari or any APC member..yea are right bro..nigerians are just myopic naturally in nature..imagining!despite killing buhari by BH,they still believed he is their sponsor..smh |
An investigation by SaharaReporters has revealed that a Nigerian private jet caught in Johannesburg with $10 million belongs to Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, the head of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Mr. Oritsejafor is also a close confidant of President Goodluck Jonathan. Ayo Oritsejafor The CAN leader’s private plane with US registration number N808HG was one of two jets cited by South African officials on September 5 Mr. Oritsejafor's jet arrived South Africa with $9.3 million cash loaded in several suitcases. News of the seizure of the cash broke over the weekend, triggering questions about the ownership of the jets and weapons they intended to purchase. Nigerian aviation authorities disclosed that one of the jets belonged to Pastor Oritsejafor while the second one was registered to Felix Idiga, the owner of Jafac Aviation Limited. Two Nigerians and an Israeli defense contractor, Eyal Mesiaka arrived in the jet when they were accosted in South Africa authorities. A South African source disclosed that Mr. Oritsejafor's jet was released after top Nigerian officials intervened, claiming that the weapons to be purchased had the official blessing of the Nigerian government. The jet arrived with two plastic suitcases and two hand luggages with combination locks only known to the Isreali contractor, according to CityPress Earlier today, SaharaReporters rang the mobile telephone number of Mr. Idiga. At first, he pretended and claimed that he was the Aide De camp to Mr. Idiga. But when our correspondent identified himself as a reporter from SaharaReporters, he owned he started answering questions relating to the issues but claimed the jet we published on our site wasn’t his own. Asked if he knew of another private jet named in apparent arms buy in South Africa, he asked where we got our information after we read the jet registration number to him. He then denied that his jet was involved, before hastily hanging up the phone. As part of its ongoing Spyfiles series of posts, Wikileaks has released the back and front-end systems used by multiple governments to spy on journalists, dissidents, and others. The files appear to be weaponized Windows malware although the software, called FinFisher, also works on OS. FinFisher (formerly part of the UK based Gamma Group International until late 2013) is a German company that produces and sells computer intrusion systems, software exploits and remote monitoring systems that are capable of intercepting communications and data from OS X, Windows and Linux computers as well as Android, iOS, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile devices. FinFisher first came to public attention in December 2011 when WikiLeaks published documents detailing their products and business in the first SpyFiles release. Three back-end programs route and manage traffic which is sent to FinSpy Master, a collection program. The system can steal keystrokes, Skype conversations, and even watch you via your webcam. While there is no definitive proof that any one organization is using the software, a list of FinFisher customers leaked as well shows us that Pakistan, Estonia, and Italy (among others) have bought the service. Wikileaks’ Julian Assange hopes the malware will allow researchers to pinpoint and destroy the command and control structure in the wild and help prevent the software from infecting new users. Wizeboy: Looking for people to volunteer for Muslim Singles Matching Service (MSMS) will be on a long thing, I know nobody will show interest or volunteer because showing intention on volunteering service is not really in our culture, unless people are called to it.I'm not here to start anything afresh rather i intend to start from where we left it..If we are shying away from this due to the faceless nature of this forum,i bet you,we're making a great mistake..there's no compulsion and i believe everyone is an adult here..so far so good,we intended to set up a committee to look into all these altogether and make sure that islamic principles are strictly adhered to#no dating..i have signified my own intention likewise Maclatunji. We need others to do these as two trees can't make a forest..Let's believe,it can be done,if Allah wishes!!!!! |

jamalee: It is also needed, though. But our Government is not ready to render any support. What do we do? What is the way out? What do we do for living? Because that is the main issue on ground. We have many successful Entrepreneurs in Nigeria that have no Government's support. How do these successful Entrepreneurs do it? How do they make way out? How do they solve business problems? Any successful Entrepreneur on Nairaland or on this thread should give us way out.....I saw the thread u are following with Newacca..I think we are all on the same track to achieve our desired goals!!! |
newacca: I've replied....ok |

I just added more battery and its still working normally. Am planning how to build mini battery bank with battery energizer. Can somebody from this forum direct me on how to go about it?..I hear u |
jamalee: Good evening every Nairalanders on this thread. Baba11, I'm sorry for not have been following you on this thread: it was due to the megabytes I didn't have on my phone. Now, I'm back again... The main point on this thread is to be an Entrepreneur, right? You can be an Entrepreneur if you have the following criteria; without these criteria, just forget to be an Entrepreneur. The criteria are 1. Have a good mindset to be an Entrepreneur 2. Have a sales skills 3. Know the best avenue(s) to advertise your products or services in order to generate much profits for your business 4. Know how to raise capital to start a business 5. Know how to retain your existing Customers and how to make them happy. By having all these five criteria, you are good to go. I want you to know one fact that business is not learnt in School: it is learnt on the Street. If you want to confirm my fact, just ask any Student of Business Administration of any Tertiary School about how to start a business: what you will get as an answer will not be useful in the business world because the Lecturers and Professors that are teaching them business are not Business Owners. They don't know how to start a business from scratch, grow a business, let the business stand test of time. They just based on theory, read textbooks and lecture the Students in the Lecture Room/Theatre/Hall for about one or two hours twice in a month. Tell me, would these Students know anything about business? Even in the Business School, what they taught are not useful. If you want to be a successful Entrepreneur, learn from successful Entrepreneurs, learn from people that always take risks in business. Because if you don't take risks in business, you cannot be successful. Now let's look at some business ideas people have come across and the person should tell us the ins and outs of the business; I mean how to start the business, how to grow the business to become a giant Company in the future, the steps involved in starting the business. Please, the person should give us these information for free because there are many Nigerians outside there like me that are living and still living in poverty. Let's share business tips together on this thread so that people like me will be from poverty. Thanks a lot, we will be looking forward to see some business ideas with its info. I'm still with you on this thread. I'll come back by tomorrow...Rightly said but government policy and support is also needed |
jethro2: Governments in Nigeria is not functioning. We can't keep waiting for empty promises. Start small from your angle.Yea bro |
maclatunji: Thank you for volunteering, more volunteers will be needed. Like Wizeboy suggested, expert and experienced individuals might be invited to join the team.Amin |
Interesting..if not that fruits are perishable crops i would have given it a thought..#smh |
maclatunji: People should volunteer or status quo remains, there is no must about it...i'm in..let's keep the ball rolling! |
Op,it's government support we need most, without it,we can't achieve much..How is one gonna get low interest rate loan, machinery, fertilisers, land etc...Government policies and politicisation of the whole stuff also is there |
