One thing I noticed again...specially @ okuku campus....is the building of a new hall...with dat in place the per dept capacity migth increase...leading to massive admission slots for both merited and unmerited admissions.....and to many of us here who migth be hoping on God....don't giv up on God cus he won't give up on you...and no matter how dark it is the sun is shining somewere

There's nothing that isn't possible in life when you pray to God and believe....Just believe that you all will be among the chosen ones for Admission this year.. The Admission list will be out pretty soon...But i will advice those who knows in their heart that their chances of getting the admission is very slim becos of their grade and they dont want to spend another year at home to begin making contingency plans like obtaining a PT form or applying for any other programs uniosun is offering . but most people who did not get the cut off mark for courses like Accounting, Eco..e.t.c might be considered for other courses like Entrepreneur... Science student who did not meet the cut off mark for their desired science courses might also be considered for courses like URP, as long as you have geography in your O'level and if u have economics & geography in ur O'level and you re given URP as a course, Note that you can also port from URP to HRM after completing one session, but that means you will have to repeat 100level again.

Take Note: Not everybody that is offered admission to study courses like MCB, Accounting, Eco, Physic, Mathematics, Civil e.t.c will eventually end up studying those courses, reason becos after admission has be given to students to study those courses, during registration each student offered admission will also undergo O'level screening before you will be asked to register your name in your respective department. at this point a whole lot of people fail to pass such screening and are advice to choose an alternative course that their O'level qualifies them to study, and some will be offered Education courses or so....In all, just keep all hopes high and believe all your late night reading will not be in vein. call 07065244581 for any info.

d seat no is d no of d u will sit on to write d exam. on hw its gonna be on dat day,its gonna be fun. get to d exam center early and familiarize urself wit d environment. try and have ur breakfast b4 leaving cos dey will surely waste ur time. and dress corporate and look simple as its gonna earn u more mark .for d ladies uniosun lecturers dont like ladies wit heavy make up to d exam hall and...and....and...and....and....wen I remember more I will let u kno

Notice is hereby given that the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise will hold from Monday 5th to Friday 9th September 2016 at 9am - 5pm for candidates who chose Osun State University as their First choice , with a minimum score of 180 .
However, candidates that scored less than 200 would not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes:
Accounting
Economics
Political Science
Business Administration
Nursing
Law
Meanwhile, candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 could change to any other relevant programme of their choice.
COMPLETION OF APPLICATION FORMS
Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website: http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission. One of these two copies should be brought along together with a copy of the candidate’s UTME score print-out on the day of the screening exercise. The second copy is to be submitted upon admission to the University.
DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and report on the screening day. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcript to the Registrar of Osun State University before the commencement of screening exercise.
SCREENING CENTRES
All candidates (UTME and Direct Entry) are to report for screening at the date and centres indicated on their online registration printout. Candidates must report at least one hour before the commencement of the exercise. All applicants must come to the screening centres with their O/L result checker or scratch cards.
ACCESS TO THE REGISTRATION PORTAL
Visit the Uniosun Screening Portal via

Thank God I found this thread, my lil sister initially chose university of Ilorin but after getting a low score of 218 in jamb we decided to change it to uniosun as we thought It will be very difficult for her to get law with that score in Ilorin


She chose law and an Osun state Indigene with 218 as score,What's her chance and is the competition very tough?

And when do they normally write postutme and how is the question set

uniosun law too no be rice and beans ooo. its one of d dpt dat doesnt admit much candidate. having z dis, dat 218 dat she scored in jamb is low buh she can boost it in her post jamb. presently, she has 27.25 on ground now for her pjamb.cos in uniosun, ur jamb score divided by 8 plus ur pjamb score divided by 2. Going by dis, she has a lot to do. if she score 70 in her pjamb, it will give her 62.25% wch is gud for her cos if u want to seal admission as a law student here, u must get above 60% so I implore to study hard.
D exam usually comes up in August buh d sale of form shld be july. d questions will be on govt, eng, maybe crs den emphases will be lay on current affairs most especially abt d sch and osun state in general (I stand to be uncorrected). d past que will be send to u by those distributing it. u can contact dis no for further enquiries 08055829269. Greetings everyone. ..due to the eepileptic admission process of uniosun this year,lots of tension has been in the air,aspirants are groaning and pondering...some ve lost hope,while odas are still high in hopes,some ve opted for plan B and even C.But not to worry,in d midst of any ranging storm there will always b a calming wind...as at of last years admission students who have tot they won't b admitted were later admitted although It came late.some even got their admission January 2015..no one has really grasps the main cause for d delay. jamb has a hand same as uniosun.....I want to encourage u all to keep believing and stay positive. ur hard works will not go down d drain in vain. am sure lots of people will still smile here on this thread. remember the saying"it's rather late than never". if u ve been admitted kindly proceed to ur campus to commence due registration.lectures might commence asap probably nextwik. if u were offered a course u did not choose and do not like and u wish to change..there's a posssibility in that...... Nothing much left for u to do...for u to ve been given that form, it means u ve been cleared. just go ahead and make ur schl fee payment. and also prepare all d documents required dats on d list of needed documents given to u wch include student biodata form, local govt certificate, letter of attestation. e.t.c
