FamilyFlogging In School by bababuff(op): 5:21pm On Apr 16, 2013
Imagine going to school to pick up your child, and the teacher is flogging him/her as shown in the picture below.
How would you react as a parent?

Should this be allowed in our schools? Your opinions please.

PoliticsRe: Foreigners Own 80% Of Oil Blocks Not Northerners - Femi Falana by bababuff(m): 2:58pm On Mar 11, 2013
A lot of people just come here and make noise without contributing to the discussion.

What has owning an oil block by somebody from the north or south got to do with the benefit to the common man on the street?
If one northerner with an oil block employs 500 southerners to work there and pays them good money who is losing? If the southerners use the money to educate their children and improve the quality of life of their people, and the northerner takes his profits to UK and his northerner brothers live in penury and Boko themselves, who is losing?

The problem is not with owning the oil blocks; the issue is giving back to the community where the oil production is taking place. Building schools, road, houses, empowering the people of the areas etc. That is what we want.

CelebritiesRe: Shocking Earnings Of Yoruba Movie Stars by bababuff(m): 2:53pm On Jan 22, 2013
Onegai: I think the highest Jim Iyke got paid was N400,00 (I was on that production). I'm quite sure none of these actors and actresses earns up to N1million. A lot of them use their popularity to get endorsements and adverts and government contracts (I'm working with a few of them now who are making side money being middleman suppliers of construction materials for their respective state governments). The younger generation (male and female) get rich lovers who bankrole their lifestyles. But their lifestyle necessitates them living above their means, sadly. If anyone sees Mercy Johnson take a bus or a yellow cab, you'll all start shouting and deriding her. So not only does she have to buy a car, but a real nice car. That's show business.
I agree with you.
CelebritiesRe: Shocking Earnings Of Yoruba Movie Stars by bababuff(m): 12:53pm On Jan 22, 2013
These actors and actresses gets pay what they are due. Why should they be paid N200,000 to spend 1-2 hours only on location?
Na so money easy to get? Don’t forget that some of them could be in as many as 3 or 4 productions in a month. So by scraping the bits and pieces they get from different productions they are able to take care of themselves.

For the Yoruba actors, the big pay day is when you can gather money and produce your own film. Most of the big once buy their cars and other stuffs by selling these films to the big marketers in Idumota.

Again most of them have other jobs or vocation for making extra money (hair salons, compere jobs, canteens etc.)so they are not doing badly. People do business with them because they are celebrities and of cause the "runs" angle is there for most of the ladies.
