The odometer reading is quite high for a 2008 car.

There is too much bad belle for this world O! huh huh

The car was advertised with 100K mileage, carfax states the mileage as 31K miles as at 2005, so what's the big deal? If Babeisme advertised the car with 31K miles then, we can accuse her of trying to mislead the buyers. grin

Car TalkQuack Tracking Companies In Nigeria by bababuff(op): 9:17am On Aug 18, 2008
A friend sent this to me, and I would like to share it with you guys. Please let us be careful.

My Bad Experience with Quack Tracking Companies in Nigeria

My experience might sound like a mere movie but it actually happened to me last Monday 11th of August, 2008.

At precisely 3.30pm, I was accosted by a gang of armed robbers all masked with assorted guns. They quickly pushed me to the back seat of my car. While all these happened, they didn't say a word to me. I was trembling with fear begging them not to harm me, one of them collected my car keys from me and quickly drove off with me at the back seat saying my last prayers.

We drove for about 20 minutes until they demanded that I strip off my clothes, I did that with the understanding that if I didn’t do what they wanted I could end up being killed. All I could do at that time was pray for God to let this cup of anxiety of death pass me by.

After a long drive, they demanded that I get down from the car with only my underpants on. I quickly did as directed with thanksgiving after which they drove off with top speed. I quickly got help to cover up my unclothedness and quickly got a GSM phone to demobilize the car. On sending the demobilizing command to my car, I discovered that the phone number of the device was no longer available (apparently, the tracking unit in my car had been disconnected by those who had stolen my car). I called my wife to contact the tracking company and make a formal complaint while I rushed to make a case with the police. After a while, my wife confirmed to me that the phone number kept ringing without an answer and worst still, the address on their contact card was non-existent. At that time all I had left in my thoughts was to say “Thank God for saving me”.

I have taken the pains to investigate to know where I went wrong in installing a tracker in my car. I discovered that most tracking companies in Nigeria are not registered by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to do business in Nigeria, they are mere dupes who take advantage of cheap tracking units from china to extort money from desperate Nigerians.

I implore all of you to be careful about installers who will tell you their units are one off payments or charge you less than N70,000 to install the unit, these dupes have alliances with those who rob us on the highways.

Shockingly, I also discovered that some GSM Telecommunication companies have Vehicle tracking companies registered on their websites. This is very misleading as most of those companies don’t have NCC certifications to do business in Nigeria.

I implore NCC to take serious actions to avert these illegal companies from exploiting Nigerians of their hard earned monies and exposing us all to risks of our lives.

Thanks.

AutosRe: Re Programming Of A Spare Key For Toyota Sienna 2005 Model by bababuff(m): 7:48pm On Jul 15, 2008
@winnteam

I have a similar key to the one you displayed and I need a spare key. I actually got one cut, but it would not start the car unless you bring the master key closer.

I need to have the key programmed, and I also need the remote control.

Do you have all the stock available here in Lagos, Nigeria? If yes, how can I hook you up?

Which one be your own? This your defense to much. Abi you dey get cut from inspired_man? cool cool

The average price for this model is about 1.40M, but because of the "extras" like side air bags and 6 CD loader, a price of 1.48M - 1.5M is fair enough.

emmydee:
my friends dad used to own a Maxima car, the man had to wake up by 4am to work on it. He would get through just before 6am, use a stone to hold the throttle pedal, then takes his bath.and goes to work. It was so problematic that at some point before his death, when he remembered the car early in the morning, he wept!
Haba! Oga emmydee, "use a stone to hold the throttle pedal" this one too much now! grin grin grin
FamilyTribute To The Woman by bababuff(op): 3:06pm On Jun 20, 2008
To be sincere I have a girlfriend who is in her 50's I just was shocked to know she was so old.

Guess Who?

It's my

MOM

Why are you crying, a young boy asked his Mom? "Because I'm a woman," she told him.

"I don't understand," he said. His Mom just hugged him and said,

"And you never will, but that's O.K.",

Later the little boy asked his father,

"Why does Mom seem to cry for no reason?". "All women cry for no reason," was all his Dad could say.

The little boy grew up and became a man,

still wondering why women cry.

Finally he put in a call to God and when God got back to him, he asked "God, why do women cry so easily?"

GOD answered, "When I made woman, I decided she had to be special.

I made her shoulders strong enough to carry the weight of the world, yet,

made her arms gentle enough to give comfort,

I gave her the inner strength to endure childbirth and the rejection

that many times will come even from her own children.

I gave her a hardness that allows her to keep going and take care of her family and friends,

even when everyone else gives up, through sickness and fatigue without complaining….

I gave her the sensitivity to love her children under any and all circumstances. Even when her child has hurt her badly,

She has the very special power to make a child's boo-boo feel better and to quell a teenager's anxieties and fears,

I gave her strength to care for her husband, despite faults and I fashioned her from his rib to protect his heart,

I gave her wisdom to know that a good husband never hurts his wife, but sometimes tests her strengths and her resolve to stand beside him unfalteringly. ,

For all of this hard work, I also gave her a tear to shed.

It is hers to use whenever needed and it is her only weakness,

When you see her cry,
tell her how much you love her, and all she does for everyone, and even though

she may still cry, you will have made her heart feel good.

RomanceMen Have Better Friends by bababuff(op): 5:58pm On Jun 18, 2008
Men always have better friends,

They will stand by you, no matter what, !!!

Here's an example:-

Friends of Women:

A wife was not at home for a whole night.

So she tells her husband the very next morning,

that she stayed at her (girl) friend's apartment overnight.

So the husband calls 10 of her best (girl) friends and

none of them confirmed that she was with them.

Friends of Men:

A husband was not at home for a whole night.

So he tells his wife the very next morning,

that he stayed at his friend's apartment over night.

So the wife calls 10 of his best friends and 5 of them confirmed that

he stayed at their apartments that night and

another 5 claimed that he is still with them!!
