Legs, lets just say for the sake of clarification I am an old fashioned kind of guy, none militaristic in my approach, you know only understand things using the descriptive model. Would you mind sparing sometime to make me see thing a bit more clearly? I can understand from your name you are probably of the number 11 |
YEAH CUSHMAN PLEASE TELL IAH AGAIN WE NEED TO KNOW WHICH IS THE P AND THE D, cosa it seems the rest of us can easily identify the 88, 11 and the coke. By the way which one is defense and attack again O! me I no sabi that one. Yemstrad you seem to have some good experience on this coke thing can you share with us why you're very categorical in your choice? |
nferyn, the question still remains- why is it that safety measures are not taken seriously when it comes to flying in Nigeria? the authorities concerned are not taking it seriously, the passengers are denied the right to even have knowledge of what state the planes they are embarking on are, untill some thing happens and their relations are told stories ranging from cows in the runway to missing blackbox. do you understand now why flying in Nigeria is a bit different? |
I thought you guys in Maid do prefer the 88's, well anyway its good to know your taste. |
Some guys like them fat (88) all filled up from chin to heels, some, "the number 11" slim tall with beautiful long legs, while others like a little bit of in between tall, fleshy and curvy, you know just the coke bottles. Whocan qualify for your African beauty? |
Silence they say means consent! If Nigerians are all aware of this yet keep quiet then its rather unfortunate. Further more I never said that Nigerians are unGodly but do things that go contrary to the teachings of their utterances. All we should do is practice what we preach Seun... RhodaR please permit me to call you that, no offence is meant and I do not intend to be rude. I can understand that if it happens in US because it is highly immoral society apologies to the few decent people amongst them, where to them freedom could mean even difiance of God himself and all sorts of blasphemy is practiced and encouraged. but in Nigeria where out of every 10, 9 people will tell you they believe in God its appalling. Try to understand there is a THICK DEFINED LINE BETWEEN US AND THE U.S. |
Nigerians mention God in everything they do but do the complete opposite of what any God fearing/loving person will do. Example: recent elections were clearly believed to be heavilly rigged but very few Nigerians will even accept this simple truth. Example: a Governor in this country was arrested with funds before the recent one only to be suspended for a short while and later re-instated. The recent Bayelsa event is beyond comment. Do we really think we can eat our cake and have it or do Nigerians generally think they can cheat God? |
If you want a name I will give you a name; Ribadu of EFCC! Else I'll say we need a leader that has the following Qualities:- HONEST Which means truthful, no desire to embezzle the oil money of the Niger Deltans, treat all Nigerians justly KIND at heart= should have a listenimg ear to the plea of the masses KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE between Patriotism and Nationalism and is willing to combine the two concepts to propel Nigeria forward. These above shall serve as the traits for a leader that Nigeria needs, anybody short of that we still stand to stay. FORGET THE INDIVIDUALS MENTIONED ABOVE THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING IN THE PAST AND CAN DO NOTHING NOW! |
Travelling is no more a safe thing to do in Nigeria o! While science says the safest and fastest way to travel is by air, we in Nigeria agree but differently. It is the fastest way to the journey beyond. I mean think of it, our roads are nothing but booby traps as they are in terrible states, while they are safe passages for transistion to the hereafter as they are manned by professional robbers or The Nigerian Robbers Force. So which one we go do o! I no know. Train Nko? Oshodi to Agege in 36 hours with or without luggage. We should all pray for the souls of the departed last weekend in P/H and the those of the unknown that travelled by road and met with the same fate all over the country. |
Well I have in the past had some girls make their first move at me, but that did not make me disrespect them though the realationships never did last as I wanted. Now that you mentioned it I noticed that its a big deal for a lady to make the first move but not if the guy does yet we say what a man can do a woman can also do better. So is it a mans world? Yet we a say ladies first. Is it too difficult for men to ask them to take their responsibilties more seriously? By the way, why is this much of a challenge to the beauties of our naija world. |
Seun, it is not my business to go into your chat with Yemstrad, but I think you were not very academic in your response. this is my personsl opinion though, but you need to remain focused tyhan start to attack personalities. We have to find a forum to discuss our problems in this country objectively and not to engage in such unwarranted talks. The point is our Police force needs to be re-orientated no doubt but we too the larger society have to make a tremendous change in the way we relate with them and each other otherwise we shall all be blinded by emotions instead of being objective. That is the more reason why I tend to agree with Layi's comments So take it easy men! |
Would you say The Nigerian Police makes things worse for Nigerians? The Police Force in Nigeria has been the most attacked by ordinary citizens most times in this country. However, they are not victims just for nothing or for the sake of being made scape goats. They asked for it one can add, because they do not seem sincere in their dealings with the Nigerian people when it comes to serving and protecting them with intergrity. The other truth of the matter is are they paid well? Are they treated as a Police Force should be? etc. |
