Counterigbolies:
that's your problem

My complex gardener with 120k salary managed to build house but u are asking mumu question

Wait till u have 50 billion naira till u start building, one thing about all u online kids is that nothing is enough.

Even if person wan buy bicycle tyre n his budget is 50 billion, u people will still say it's not enough

Abeg I no get time
I did not ask mumu question. Secondly I am not a kid. Thirdly I don't have 50billion. Fourthly, I have my own house, but not 2.5 million type, because I can not imagine how that will look like. Lastly, not everyone that comments or add to a discussion might be not well to do, so stop reasoning that way, and hustle more to stop this mediocre reasoning.

Are you sure you are in a structured society?
I said in quote putting it in bracket. That is what it is supposed to be, once there is a government and the governed.

We have lost our sense of humanity. The question is, how do we protect ourselves from these wild humans?
we can not in reality, because it is unlawful to carry arm. That is why we have a structured society( In quote) for the government to provide such services, which mainly is the protection of lives and property. I wonder, I just wonder how these people in leadership sees this kind of news and go to bed at night, wakes up and go about their normal activities as if this is normal. That is not even the most painful thing, but knowing that there are people (sane people) that will still come out to defend this ineptitude and only concern in attacking opposition is the most disturbing issue. Because this keep false validation to the government to know that some idiots will still stand and kill themselves to them, despite their failure. It is indeed pathetic what religion, tribalism and bigotry has caused the nation.

Tinubu and his wife did far worse?, how?. The school kidnappings from Sokoto, Niger, Kaduna Kebbi, have they not all been released and returned to their parents under President Tinubu?. How many of kidnapped school children was GEJ and Buhari able to secure their release?.
As we speak, Tinubu has deployed full military rescue operations to Oyo state but to you, he is far worse?.
Are you aware that a LG in Niger state is bigger than the whole of Anambra state?. If you understood the complexities of the security situation in the country, you won't sit behind the keyboard typing this.
Giving a needles publicity to terrorists is absolutely senseless. About 12 Americans were shot by gunmen last weekend in Ohio during a community festival, how much publicity did their media give to it, how many of you are aware of it?.

-Kiss the truth!
It was not publicised and you stayed back in Nigeria and know about the killing of 12 citizens of another man country. Bigot.
BusinessRe: Can Someone Earning 600k Per Month Build A House In Nigeria by babastanlolo: 12:15pm On May 11
yemre:
Of course yes. If you earn 600k monthly in 2026 and you fail to build, it means it's your decision not to build. The fact that Lagos landlords have decided to increase their rent on a monthly basis is enough push for you to start something with your 600k.

In the first place, I see no reason why you can not live on 200k monthly. Make sure you buy your foodstuffs and other essentials at month end. Save for 3 months and get a plot of land for 1.5m in a modest environment, even if it's half plot.

Then, save 400k for another 4 months and use the 1.5m to move from foundation to window level. Save for another 4 months, get a loan of 1m and add to your 1.5m. that's 2.5m and you're already at the roofing level. Then, relax, pay your loans for another 6 months, and get another loan and roof your house. Subsequently, you start your plastering, plumbing, electrification, finishing etc.

Before you know it, 2 years from now, you're living in your own house.

So yes, with 600k, even with a family of 4, you will build. It only depends on your financial discipline.

With a 600k salary, I don't expect you to live anywhere on the island, and I don't expect you to enroll your child in British International School. If you cut your coat according to your cloth, you will become a landlord and even have tenants.
We just saw a house of 2.5million. Bro can we sign a bond with 10 yrs in prisonment if i give the cash to and default to build this wonderful 2.5m building in even my bush village. common guy be realistic na.

just dey online dey talk rubbish, I guess u are still been fed

People earning less build house
Bro pls add some hypothetical examples to this claim. Am eager to learn. So someone earns 600k monthly. How much should he feed with as a single, married, married with kids? 2. How much fir transport , clothing, house rent , education and all other basics? How much can be the savings, note the income is 600k no extra. Civil servant we know majority gets bribes and tips and all sort. An talking just 600k. Then what kind of house? What budget for the house? Which the saving after every every How much will do the building and how many year. No blanket statement put facts, figures and sensibility to the discussion.

helinues:
Too much of hypocrisy of supporting Peter Obi.

If there is no record of Peter Obi answering any governance related questions coherently, I mean all what he always condemn, he has no solutions to any of them, why should anyone still be rooting for such person as the saviour of Nigeria

I am just imagining Peter Obi still in APGA, how big the party would have been today, ordinary small internal party issue , Peter Obi fled, he has been fleeing ever since in every little political internal issue.

Someone who is not interested in working with others with differences, how do you think such person can unite 200 millions of Nigerians?

That Peter Obi can never be the president of Nigeria is not out of hatred but because Peter Obi don't even have what it takes to be ordinary Nigeria National councillor president

I see contradictory statement. He is nothing, but if he had remained
in APGA the party would have been big. make it make sense.
Good day Nairaland family

I have been a guest on this educative platform for over two years I created an account to seek advice from matured minds and well educated individuals.

I would love to know if it’s embarrassing or rather inappropriate to go back to a previous job , it’s been four years since I left the job and resigned but I still maintained a good relationship with the management…

we communicate from time to time
Life can be unpredictable and things are not going as planned and as a struggling young man I need to survive one way or the other i would really love your inputs and advice on this issue
Thanks and God bless [/quote

I just did and no regret. Left lower and returned higher. My point, when leaving either because of pay or seeking a higher level, do so professionally and kept the communication line open, cause you might return someday. Footballers do same and return to former club. There is absolutely nothing wrong if it is for good. After all, when the chips are down no one will bail the cat. Be wise and don't listen to wrong counsel.

lol. This you post eh. E be like say you truly reason the hardship for mind. The leaders calling hardworking youth as lazy all in the name of supporting a candidate. It's well. Enjoy. If only we can see ourselves to know who is worst off. And not this online bragging. Lol
PoliticsRe: Electricity Generation Drops 16% To 3,501MW by babastanlolo: 10:49am On Jul 21, 2023
Basically, the DISCOS are not being allowed to charge cost reflective tarrifs.

At one point in 2017 , they even had their bills frozen for 2 years.

Naturally, one won't be able to do much improving with such issues. Government still sets their prices, and pays them a subsidy that is not enough for their needs.

So the result is poor power supply, poor distribution and low geberation

( Just to show you how bad our generation is, Lagos alone needs 10000 MW daily for 24 hour light)

Until DISCOS are allowed to charge cost reflective tarrifs, and until there is an end to power stealing, and until universal metering is a thing...we are not going to get 24 hour light.

You can only give what you have, not what you wish you have.

WHILE I QUITE AGREE WITH YOUR SUBMISSION. BUT WE HAVE HAVE TO LOOK AT THE ISSUE OF AFFORDABILITY VIS-A-VIS THE LOW INCOME OF MOST NIGERIA AND EVEN LACK OF MONEY DUE TO JOBLESSNESS. CONTINUING INCREASES IN PRICES WILL EVENTUALLY COLLAPSE THE ECONOMY. FOR INSTANCE, FUEL DEMAND HAS DROPPED BY 50% HOW HAS THE INCREASE IN PRICES BENEFITED THE MARKETEERS AND FILLING STATIONS? IF I DON'T HAVE MONEY TO EAT I WONT BE PAYING MUCH FOR ELECTRICITY JUST BECAUSE IT IS AVAILABLE. THE TO DEREGULATE ALL SECTORS OF OUR NATIONAL LIVES WHERE GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IS REQUIRED AS WITH OTHER COUNTRIES EVEN DEVELOPED ONES WOULD ONLY LEAVE TO FURTHER IMPOVERISHING OF THE PEOPLE AND BY EXTENSION THE INDUSTRIES. PEOPLE WILL ONLY LOOK OUT FOR SURVIVAL LIKE FOOD AND HOUSING. EVERYTHING OTHER SECTORS WILL SEE DECLINE.
