It is important to note that Justice Abang’s October 14 judgement was an enforcement judgment of the earlier judgment he gave on the 29th of June, 2016, whereby he ordered INEC to only accept the names of the candidate sent by the Biyi Poroye and Ademola Genty-led Executive Committee of the PDP in the state i.e. state executive of the PDP of Sheriff faction. So appealing the October 14th judgment while the June 29th judgment is unappealed is like pouring cold water on the body of a child to cure him of malaria temperature.

A 25 years old musician, Victor Eyo, on Wednesday slammed a N500,000 bail by a magistrate court in Ikeja, Lagos State for alleged defiling a 16 years old girl.

The Magistrate, Mr T.A Elias, in his ruling ordered the accused to produce two sureties in like sum, and adjourned the case till Nov.24 for mention.

The Federal Government on Friday withdrew the forgery charges it instituted against the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu, and two others.
