Celebrities › Re: Imagine Kylie Jenner Have A Nigerian Mother- See Her Reactions by Babe2sure(f): 8:09am On Nov 04, 2015 |
Very hilarious! Nigerian mum would have restricted the freedom she is enjoying. She would have reported her to the extended family, even the father's family if she is proving stubborn. She will say "daddy, eba mi ba omo yi soro, oro e oye mi mo o,o tin rinri kurin. Ati sososo kofe gbo. Olorun mase ni omokomo" Michelle Obama's countenance usually portrays that of a Nigerian mum sha. Little wonder they used her as illustration here.

psalmuelwater: . Thanks Uwc. If those two methods fails. You can then use your second line to call direct, much later. Its not everybody that can go out to meet a perfect stranger just by getting called on phone. Most especially, when she did not give you her number. I had an experience like that, a guy usually calls me on phone, claiming I gave him my number at so so place. I did not remember giving him my number, since he did not call immediately I gave him. Till now, I'm just afraid to go out to meet someone I can't remember giving my number to. You can try your luck, though. |

Your friend can check her friend's list on facebook, some of the students/friends will write their departments on their profile or he can glean from the comments on their wall post there. Moreover, her coursemates should be much on her friends list (he may get the department from there). Since he already know her name, it will be easier to locate her in the department. Then he can woo her direct . If she is proving difficult, you can tell her the health centre episode(he should know what to say) that method is much better than just calling her up that you got her number from facebook. That is more like stalking and may make her creepy. He may also use "calling wrong number" method. |

Nice one, OP. You know what, mere seeing the topic, I had it in mine to type ""afterall some people are polymaths" only to see it used in the "body" of the write-up. Anyways, we should always strive to be the best we can be. No knowledge is lost. It is not a straight line stuff, though, because there are some areas that being a specialist is required. One may not achieve that by trying to be a 'jack of all trade" it might lead to "master of none" and messing things up. But trying to learn at least a little in every area doesn't hurt. |
Business › Re: Three Banks In Danger ~cbn by Babe2sure(f): 7:18pm On Nov 01, 2015 |
Adesiji77: They will not name them because that will lead to a run on those banks with dire consequences for the sector.
Even without naming them, discerning industry watchers can figure out the identities of these banks. So, in a way, the damage has already been done, though minimal.
This is apart from a few CBN examiners who might have shared the gist discreetly with their close pals.
Mind you, the report is not useless as they are obligated to provide update on the state of the banking sector.

Maybe they'll tell us the names of the banks after customers have lost millions in the liquidation process. Na them sabi. Despite recapitalisation, they are giving us another story. Maybe they want to rescue them first. |
