The only way to know ,is to open up the door, sometimes its just adjustments that is needed. The key hole can be dismantled and reassembled again, a locksmith will do that for u

We can fix an issues with your remote starter fobs and 2 way remote system, replacement or configuration, contact on my signature

The fact that u put d fob on the button b4 it starts tells u d fob is not emmiting signal to start the car by proxy or the car is not sensing the signal, have d fob read on a tango that will let u know what to do next, ask any key programmer who has a tango to read it , if it reads then the fault is from the car, if it doesn't go get a new key done

When the G and H chip was introduced, this method was used but a lot of companies have developed d software to reset the immo box with out having to remove it, the only case now that requires it to be removed is when there is no communication via obd, so its still the last resort, and even then u still need equipment to reset it or to write the chip into its memory

This is d worst case ,most tools can do a lost key thru obd2

Any body with any info as to what i should look out for will be highly appreciated, I am a kazeem to Deisel engines but I wan to take the risk with very little help by kazeems out there, pls oh I aint a mech but I want to try my hands on this

As usual I want to embark on a restoration of the above truck for personal use.
Its has a Deisel Cummings engine 5.9l or so

It comes with a no start issue so I want to buy and fix myself
I am no mech but I want to fix it with little or no help from anyone

Fob na d remote oh

The unlock on the fob is permanently depressed, open d fob and remove the battery , don't put the battery back and note,if it no more happens your fob is d culprit, it it still happens check d door actuators
