Let me add that the CE does not come with factory keyless entry,but in rear occasions come with dealer installed keyless

For those of u in the banking sector,my advice for u is to have other forms of income so that when they eventually sack u ,u will still have something doing and not going back to square 1.thrust me I have seen to many bankers in that condition

santakris: Thanks for prompt response. I programmed remote control. This is what I mean as aftermarket remote control (see attached pics) . After I went through an instruction I got online. I was able to do the programing myself.

Which kind of remote are u using? Check the shock sensor if it has one

santakris: Oga, please help with my mazda protege 97 model. It came with remote facility but without remote control. So I got a aftermarket remote control from a friend and program it. Its works with the car but can only lock, it doesn't unlock. What else can I do? Thanks.

U installed or programmed the aftermarket,explain

When u use yur central lock ,does it lock and unlock?

Try this procedure for factory keyless
1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Close all doors.
3. Open driver side door and leave
open.
4. Insert key in ignition, Turn key to ON
(as far as you can go without starting the
engine) and OFF, Remove Key.
5. Repeat step 4 two more times, making
sure you remove key each time.
6. Close and then open the driver’s door
three times.
7. Buzz sound or chime should be heard
at this point signaling that the vehicle is
now in programming mode. If not,
wait 40 seconds and return to step 1.
If u heard d buzz sound u could still program d factory remote to yur car

We are sayn 2 different things,
1.Exchanging a deisel engine with a petrol engine
2.Converting a deisel engine to start using petrol


For 1 is yes
For 2 is no

Drain oil in engine and gearbox,change d possible sensors that could go bad under water(fresh water DON'T buy SALT WATER)Change d fuse/relay boxes, change d ECU ,maybe d transponder,clean out the wiring ,then reprogramme d system,off u go but forget d electrical issues that will start coming up,u are on your own

Does your brother use a cell phone? If yes drop the number and d GSM operator can check his call logs and state from where he made his last call

Rolling code remotes cannot be copied only fixed code remotes can be copied,cars use rolling code except the aged ones

The pixs are not enough,post pixs of side view,if possible the under carriage. Also did the airbags deploy?

I bought metal bearings from ebay and they were very ok,my mechanic now bought a top gasket from d local market and it went flat in just a few hours usage,I have to get d original gasket from ebay but I am scared that during shipping it might be damaged

Eurpoean spec does not have d panic button unlike the american,the former is 433mhz while the later is 315mhz.they are not interchangeable except in some cases of the benz,even then it will not work properly
