The only advice for anyone is to target every possible draw they might qualify for and try to improve their chances. I know a lot of people don’t like to hear this, but studying is still the best way to come to Canada—though you have to be strategic about it.

Learn French, or target programs like the OINP Masters Graduate Stream, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), or the NLPNP International Graduate Category.

Does Asylum guarantee PR or citizenship? Met a Nigerian lady who I think took that route but she is reluctant to fill me in. She initially came last year for studies but currently not in school, but she's working and doesn't seem worried.

It's way better than wasting money schooling in these Canadian colleges.

Most students are converting to assylum, many of them already paid 1 or 2 semesters fee which is almost 20k dollars and that's gone to waste.
If things were as smooth as they are claiming while would anyone stop schooling after paying such huge amount of money and decide to seek assylum.
