The goalkeeper failed to appear before the NFF disciplinary body on Tuesday for his comment on the choice of Kaduna for Eagles game versus Chad Vincent Enyeama failed to appear before the disciplinary committee of the Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 and may be sanctioned. The Lille goalkeeper came under barrage of criticisms for his remark against the NFF’s choice of Ahmadu Stadium, Kaduna for Eagles Afcon qualifier against Chad played on June 13,2015. Not satisfied with his apology, the Super Eagles captain was summoned to a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday in Abuja, but the former Enyimba player turned down the invite. Meanwhile, Chris Green who is a member of the NFF said [Enyeama’s] case will be treated with caution as those in the disciplinary committee will be allowed to do their job then the appropriate actions will be taken. “In the case of Enyeama, we want this matter dealt with internally, in-house and quietly; the noise that this thing has generated is uncalled for,” Green told the media. “Situations where people will pre-judge even before the persons have appeared did not even help matters. “I will say that people should be allowed to do their job and at the same time wait for decisions because it’s been sent to the board for the next line of action,” he concluded. 32-year-old Enyeama is the most capped Nigerian international ever with 101 caps since he made his debut against Kenya in 2002. |
Breaking News From Owerri, Imo State. What Happened To A Newly Wedded Man. www.nairaland.com/2391079/breaking-news-owerri-imo-state |
It happened in Owerri day before yesterday. I heard it yesterday at lunch. This world is becoming even more scary oh. A newly married man saw a prostitute clothed seductively by the road. She was just too sexy to be overlooked. He picked her up and abandoned the way home to a hotel. He lodged in with her. In less than five minutes he was on top of her. The prostitute was as flexible as a snake. When he was having sex with her, her moaning sounded like a 'hissing snake' but he was carried away with her moves and didn't really give his concern to it. The married man had sex with her over and over again. Paid her more than what they bargained. He woke up at voodoo hour with the intention of having another round with her. He didn't find her on the bed. He heard hissing sounds in the bathroom. He scrambles out of bed and saunters to the bathroom. He opened the door. His heart beat drummed heavily as he saw big pythons talking to each other. He screamed loudly. The pythons leaped on him. He ran to the door and found it locked. The pythons crawled to him. He shouted for help and banged the door. The pythons got to him and jumps to strike him. "" "" Immediately he woke up! And almost screamed but couldn't when he discovered it was just a nightmare. The room was dark. The lights were switched off he felt...He felt something cold touching his body. He searched with his hands and it felt like a cylinder with a hard skin impregnated with scales. He finally felt something trying to swallow his head. He touched it and discovered it was a big snake trying to swallow him up. The room wasn't dark. His head, down to his chest was inside the snake's mouth. The snake's poisonous saliva covered his face. He started struggling and struggling but the snake pinned him down. He tried to scream for help but couldn't because if he opens his mouth, the snake's poisonous saliva will flow in and he will unavoidably swallow it forcefully. He kicked his leg, used his hands but the snake was too strong. He managed to bite the snake's tongue. The snake got wounded and involuntarily vomits him. He looked at the snake with blood on his mouth and discovered it was a big python. He grabbed an empty bottle and smashed the python. The python collapsed. He jerked up and jumped out of the bed. He started screaming for help. He dashed out of the hotel. He got home, looking all clean and cool. His wife was asleep already. He crawled into the bed beside his wife and slept off. He woke up almost at dawn and discovered his wife has turned into a snake. The wife told him everything he did and how he stroke a python dead. Before he could apologise, his wife told him she was her mother disguised in a different body. He cheated on her with her mother. She got so angry. The man almost committed suicide. His wife told him to return to that hotel and carry her mother back to the house if not she'll kill him. He left immediately and rushed down to the hotel. He went straight to the hotel room and found his wife, mother-in-law, his sister, his mother in the room. They were all hissing like snakes. Immediately he realised they were all in the same secret cult. They stood up and watch him without saying a word. Great panic gripped him by the throat. He couldn't talk..... And the only problem now is that I don't just know how I will end this FAKE STORY... **** Mtcheww www... Happened in OWERRI my foot. ... Fake story joor... I'm sorry if I scared you. Anyway now u know how I felt when I read it Source:www.dailygist.info/2015/06/breaking-news-from-owerri-imo-state.html?m=1 |

The melodrama in the Nigeria Football Federation continues but this time, has taken a positive dimension. The Aminu Maigari-led general assembly and elective congress opted Thursday to reinstate Maigari as president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) after a brief meeting in Abuja instead of conducting a fresh election. This decision was taken in line with FIFA's letter dated September 3, which called for Maigari and his board to be returned to office latest September 8, 2014. The Maigari-led executive committee will now have to convene a general assembly meetings "in order to proceed with the elections of the new NFF office-bearers," as directed by FIFA. "The NFF executive committee as it was composed on August 25, 2014, meaning under the presidency of Aminu Maigari, should then convene as soon as possible a first extraordinary general assembly to elect the members of the electoral committee and a second extraordinary general assembly in the shortest time possible allowed by law in order to proceed with the elections of new NFF office-bearers," a part of the letter read. Speaking after the meeting, Maigari confirmed that a general assembly would be called within the shortest possible time, but added that new elections would now be held in 2015. This will keep him in office for at least another four months. "Of course, the elections will hold in 2015 because it is tagged for 2015," Maigari told sl10.ng. "We will work as a team and as a family and decide on a new date, but I want to assure Nigerians that we will do this within the shortest possible time." The latest development is expected to stop an impending FIFA ban though the Maigari-led NFF executive committee was dissolved on August 26. www.locogist..nl/2014/09/sportmaigari-reinstated-as-nff-boss.html?m=1 |
We are amused by the attempt of Osun State office of the Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] to muddle facts and play sophistry over incontrovertible indictment of two of its key staff for their involvement in the rigging of the August 9 governorship election. We are watching to see if the national headquarters of INEC will also consent to this plot to cover up the involvement of it staff using a nebulous administrative lapses. We would not have bothered to join issue with the state office of INEC but the need to set records straight supersedes all other considerations. We therefore challenged INEC office in Osun state to provide answers to the following questions: What offence was committed to warrant suspension of the two electoral officers? In an electoral setting, what offence constitutes administrative lapses? Nigerians cannot be deceived by attempt to play with language. INEC should call a spade a spade and not farm implement. The Electoral Officer of Obokun who tampered with election materials meant for August 9 election was cleared by INEC on the ground that it was a minor misdemeanor.INEC should explain to Nigerians why minor misdemeanor now warrant suspension again. Why are all these coming up again after the Peoples Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate, Senator Iyiola Omisore filed his petition before the Tribunal? We make bold to say that the vestige of the former Resident Electoral Commissioner, Rufus Akeju who had doctored the Data Capturing Machine and other electoral materials to give APC undue advantage will continue to haunt Osun INEC until the controversial REC is made to account for his misdeeds. We had on August 27 alerted the good people of Osun state that we have uncovered earth shaking revelations about how electoral heist was perpetrated on August 9 gubernatorial election by the APC. We have also stated in the press statement that we are aware of the deceit -driven propaganda machinery that is at the beck and call of APC will be unleashed by the time the tribunal begins it's sitting. We have it on good authority that after it was discovered that APC legal team will not be able to pass the litmus test at the tribunal because of the gargantuan electoral harakiri it perpetrated on August 9, some hack writers and jejenu opinion writers have been contracted to commence media fireworks against the tribunal in order to discredit it. Some of these paid agents are those who maintain regular column in Nigerian newspapers. Their modus operandi is to create the impression that the tribunal will be biased and will not be able to dispense justice.Already, some of these paid agents have written ' epistle' about how the election was militarized. They will also advance puerile argument that if Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola could muster enough courage to rig the gubernatorial election, he should be regarded as 'superman' based on the so called 'militarization' by the federal government. We want to assure the good people of Osun state and well meaning Nigerians to ignore these cash and carry writers as we move to reveal more shocking revelations about our so- called progressives who have corrupted the electoral process because of their desperation to hang to power at all cost. We want to assure our teeming supporters that we shall do all the needful within the ambit of law to retrieve the stolen mandate that was freely bestowed on the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Iyiola Omisore on August 9, 2014 from the impostors. This is a Rescue Mission to retrieve our collective patrimony from election riggers and manipulators whose ball pen has robbed the Osun indigenes of their fair share of the national cake. by Adedayo Ademuwagun It's been more than two months since the election in Ekiti state, and some civil servants claim that since the elections, they have been going without pay. This week, health workers at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital threatened to strike because they hadn't been paid for July and August. Local government workers also struck for two weeks last month, but have since resumed work. Anike, a worker in one of the local government secretariats and said she's not been paid for two months. "They've not paid us since June. The government never did this before the election. "They used to pay salaries every month end without fail. But since the election, they've changed. The government has lost motivation "We heard rumours that Fayemi has said we should wait till October when the person we voted for will be in charge," she concluded. Adebola, a teacher at a public secondary school in Ife-Ekiti, said she just got paid for July only week ago. "I was paid last week. What we heard is that the government has a lot of debt to pay and Fayemi has said he cannot borrow any more money to pay salaries. So we should wait till the government gets the next federal allocation." Banke works at one of the government ministries. She says, "I've not been paid, but some people were paid in our ministry last week. That means they've begun to pay our salaries and those of us who haven't been paid will be paid soon." Speaking with YNaija, the Ekiti Commissioner for Information, Tayo Ekundayo refuted the stories. "We're not owing anyone for June or July. We only have August salaries to pay up, and we are working on it. August just ended a few days ago. So it's not like we've taken a long time. Since we took charge four years ago, we've been paying salaries very promptly. In some other states, the government perpetually owes its workers months of salary. But we've never been like that." In Ekiti, the government is the largest employer of labour and most workers in the state work in the civil service. Reports suggest that civil servants were disaffected by certain Fayemi policies concerning them prior to the election and that this caused them to vote for his opponent, Ayo Fayose. The governor- elect will assume office on October 16. Source: www.locogist..com |

Preliminary study of the plant in the 1990s showed signs that it may benefit ebola victims by slowing down multiplication of the virus.[3] In animal studies, Garcinia kola increased the activities of the enzymes lactate dehydrogenase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.[4] Garcinia kola has been used for centuries to treat chest colds in traditional medicine, but research has taken a look and found out why it is effective. A study in the 2008 issue of The Internet Journal of Pulmonary Medicine, performed on mice, reports that garcinia kola improved respiratory function after 28 days of use of a garcinia extract. Written by David A. Ofusori, MSc, from Igbinedion University in Nigeria, the study shows that garcinia kola works by dilating the alveolar ducts and sacs in the lungs by improving the strength of the fibers in the lung tissue. Garcinia kola's beneficial lung properties are attributed to its high antioxidant conten source: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garcinia_kola |

Speaking recently on the spate of bombings and attacks in the country, GO of the Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo said that Nigeria is on the verge of a break up. "I hope that we are willing to find solution to it. I would be the last person in this world to believe that government has not discovered those who are behind Boko Haram. Otherwise, we don’t have any intelligence service in our country. Are they sacred cows that cannot be brought to book? Until we cut the source of their supplies and get those who are involved, we cannot stop them. But the danger is this, and I must say it here, we are at the verge of a break up. That is the truth. It’s unfortunate. The Nigerian nation is too intelligent to claim not to have discovered those who are behind this. So, I really believe it’s all in the hands of the authorities to decide whether they want to confront the issue headlong or to keep watching it until Nigeria breaks up......All that the church can do is to pray. The church is not in power, it has no political power. And when invited, we give advice, when required or called upon. You can’t call someone and say can I advise you?" - Bishop David Oyedepo Source Lindaikeji..com www.facebook.com/papaakpos |
The Channel Television debate on the Election in the State of Osun today was a very interesting outing for both parties,APC and PDP.On the side of APC is Bola Ilori,SA on Environment to Ogbeni Aregbesola and Ajibola Bashiru,Commissioner for Special Duties.PDP has Lere Oyewumi,Director of Omisore's campaign organisation supported by Diran Odeyemi,Director of Publicity. ( Click on this link for full report: http:/// 1rijf5G ) The encounter started on a philosophical note from Bola Ilori who alleged that President Jonathan is turning the Nigerian Army to the armed wing of the PDP.He emphasized the facts that Ogbeni connects well to the people. Lere Oyewumi raised a lot of accusations against Ogbeni. He virtually punctured all the programmes of the Aregbe administration. Particular attention was paid to the issue of same uniform to all schools in the state, cost of the uniform and that those who went to buy the uniform from open market was taken to Ilesa prison. Responding,Ajibola Bashiru punctured the claims on the cost of uniform saying the highest for Senior Secondary students is 3500 as against the 5000 claimed by PDP.He also said those who were arrested were those who brought in counterfeit of the materials for unsuspecting members of the public. He went ahead to list figures of the number of citizens engaged in the uniform business and the number that supply foodstuff to the school feeding programme as a form of empowerment of the people.Bola Ilori disagreed that the uniform shouldn't cost more than 500 naira asking that even quality toilet papers cost 150 naira and imagine the number that will be enough to sew a cloth. He challenged the PDP and the panelists to price the cost of "teru" fabric in the market. Lere Adewumi listed 5 things Omisore will do for the people but there was inadequate time to discuss that. One accusation that raised temper in the studio was the claim that Ogbeni had done nothing in Osun. Bashiru reeled out a number of programmes in the area of Agriculture, road construction, modern school building, school feeding programme but PDP called them all "film tricks". Diran Odeyemi challenged team APC to name one road or school the state has done in his Ibokun local government to which they were unable to answer satisfactorily. This was a low point for team APC even though it may be difficult to remember all roads built all over the state except perhaps the ones in the state capital.APC will need a pamphlet to list all of their programmes for people to know. I also take exception to comments by Diran Odeyemi that Bola Ilori is not from Osun so he may not know the terrain. However Bola Ilori responded by reminding him that he served Alao Akala the then Oyo State Governor and the Oyo people didn't villify him for that. We must begin to disabuse our minds that only an indigene of a state can hold position in such states. It is a dangerous trends. The allegations that Aregbe is using a group called the "State Boys" to harrass people didn't get enough attention due to time constraints. I appeal to actors in the Osun election to play by the rules at all times. It behoves on the PDP that is alleging to come up with a proof. The response from the audience via twitter suggests that they believed more in the APC than the PDP team and I also noticed that APC being the party in power has more to show the people unlike the challenger PDP that only has "promises" for the people. MY TAKE 1. Channels TV should create more time for programmes like this as 30 minutes is not enough to do justice to issues raised. 2. Next time, there should be one person each from both sides to allow for seamless flow of thought and comments. One member interviewer will also just suffice. 3. The PDP scored a major point when team APC was unable to list what Aregbe in Ibokun. Although it may be difficult to remember the long list of works done by Aregbe administration,APC will need a pamphlet to list all their achievements for people to see in the face of an opposition that won't admit government did anything 4.Team APC scored a major point by clearly portraying team PDP as liars especially with Bola Ilori's toilet roll analysis which was clear even to the dumb.Team PDP should improve on their fact checks 5. While time constraints will not allow team APC to respond to the use of "state boys" by Ogbeni as alleged by team PDP,team APC was able to drive home the negative impacts of the use of Nigerian Army to hound opposition. This certainly constitute a major threat to our nascent democracy. 6. Team Viewers: The calls by PDP to return schools to the state they were before can never be a good news to parents in Osun with the standard of schools we see Aregbe commissioning everyday.
